Title: Control, Agro or Combo

The title says it all. What do you think is the best deck type to play atm and why?

I'm not sure if anyone of these stands out all by itself. The decks are so spread out it's difficult to choose a true winner. I can only say that strict control decks aren't as used as say strict aggro or strict combo (Heartbeat).

Basic idea now is to play something that beats 2 of 3 types and handle rest sideboard.
Control-aggro is the way.

Blue and black seem to both fit this theme rather well. Blue especially with cards like remand and manaleak. Now that all the guilds are out it is just up to some resident genius to fit blue with another colour and make a GOOD agro control build.

You know, I've been thinking about a G/U/B mill deck, using the Frogling to save Vulturous Zombie from burn death with Glimpse the Unthinkable and Traumitize. It'll kinda be an aggro-combo deck. When i think of a way to make it so that it's not embarrassing, I'll post it on my deck thread.

The only probelm with mill is it doesn't affect the board in any meaningful way.

firstly i f you like mill decks i would recommed playing them in 2HG standard. One parter plays u/b mill and the other plays u/w damping thoughts
back to the question i play control that can sideboard into an agro deck

Mill will NEVER be viable in standard. EVER.
Even Glimpse isn't broken enough to make it viable - and they won't print anything more broken than glimpse.
Just forget about man. It's not going to happen.
Aggro-control and a good player is the formula for success in my humble opinion.

Was just an idea...seems there aren't many of those going around. I mean, netdecking is great and all, but an idea every now and again doesn't hurt.
Agro-control is the best combination of the three, in my opinion.

actually aggro-control-combo is the best deck.
