Right, I'm planning an animation. It's gonna be epic... I hope. It's all in the name of improving my abilities while off from college.
But I ain't getting nowhere without a song. I want to time and choreograph the actions of a Conspiracy related "Trailer" of sorts. Any suggestions? I'm looking at something with a mellow intro and outro, with a couple loudish moments in the middle. I was super inspired by the scene in "Gamer" where he runs into the carnage on the street with classical music in the background ![]() I can edit the song pretty easily to what I'd need, but I wanna hear some ideas and suggestions from you lot! -------------------- |

Fur comic goes for fur music, maybe?
Fox Amoore does amazing music, and most of it has a slow, fast, slow type form. For orchestral, he would be a fantastic choice and should be seriously considered. Also, if you have at least eighty-five dollars you can have him make you a song. :B -------------------- |

I can download this and put it up on mediafire if you want. It works pretty well with what you were looking for. Very dramatic, classical, soft intro, soft outro. -------------------- "A good writer possesses not only his own spirit but also the spirit of his friends."

This situation calls for a bit of Pendulum.
"The Tempest" Starts off nice and slow with a highly textured intro and then picks up and hits very hard. While it's my pick for the job, it might be too long at 7:29. It also contains sparse swearing. "Hold Your Colour" Once again, has a very ambient start that builds into one of the greatest masterpieces in the genre of Breakbeat's history. Hard hitting Breakbeat with crystaline synth and very interesting lyrics. "Propane Nightmares" While it probably doesn't fit your criteria in the intro department, it still has interesting lyrics and one of the most eclectic ensembles of instruments I've ever heard. And in good Pendulum fashion, good driving beat and a heavy melody. "Cities in Dust" ~ Junkie XL Once again, probably doesn't fit your criteria, but still worth a look since we're talking about a story line that involves frequent combat. -------------------- ![]() Sacrifice Honor Loyalty "It's better to die on your feet than to live on your knees" |

I pick Tool, definitely. I love that video
I have the DVD for the single and I got to see the documentary on how it was made; quite awesome if I do say so myself -------------------- "A good writer possesses not only his own spirit but also the spirit of his friends."

Hmm. Well, in the way of sort-of classical: All'Improvviso Amore This next one might not be what you're looking for--it doesn't have a slow coda, and it's a little long. But it is muchly awesome. Europa Enjoy! |

All about how Todd's wandering the streets he used to know as an innocent teen, and how they've changed with his new job. Mhm. *nods* |

Behind the Mask - Anarchy Club
You get your mix of louder-(ish) and calm. Also, the name makes my think of the Conspiricy x3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kStgkj27H1U Or how about Eye of the Tiger? Just to choose the obvious one |

Live and Let Die - Paul McCartney
It seemed appropriate, given your request, and as well given its name. It is a bit dated, however, but that doesn't seem to get in the way of music being good, only on one's perception of such. |
