Games: FPS (Halo, Call of Duty) and 4X games (Imperialism and Europa Universalis) are the primary genres. Rhythm (Guitar Hero and Rockband) and RTS (Starcraft and Myth) are secondary. Generally, I prefer X-box for FPS and Rhythm, and PC for 4x and RTS.
Comics: (all NSFW): Suicide For Hire, Concession, XKCD, Ctrl-Alt-Del, Slightly Damned (actual name), The Whiteboard, Sinfest, Dominic Deegan, TwoKinds.
Music: Generally speaking, harder music: NIN, Nightwish, Dragonforce. But classic rock is pretty good. Pink Floyd, Steppenwolf, AC/DC. Loads more songs, but not more than a few from any artist. Otherwise, I do seem to have a love of music in dead languages. Celtic-style, and Gregorian Chants are always good.
Sports: Paintballing is good, but I haven't been lately. Hiking through fields, not on any beaten path, at night is great. I'd play soccer and Rugby, but everyone I know is lasy.
Other: RVB, cardgames like Euchre, as well as Munchkin, Killer Bunnies, and their variants. |
