Those of you that don't know what Naruto is, its an anime that is ninja based and conspire of different genres of events and time lines. I'm simply going t be using the world but none of the characters from the anime will appear, I will be making new characters from scratch and a whole different story line. Through the Tears of a Shinobi Chapter 1:
~ Dark pain ~

~~~
“Go!!!” yelled a voice as a katana came striking down on the person it was aimed at. A perfect splash of blood shot it way from the victim as another voice yelled in the back ground.
“Shindo, Get out of here! Run!!!” yelled another who was fighting some figure in the far. A young boy could be seen fleeing from the massacre’s battle, as out from the darkness sprung another Katana wielding Ninja now landing striking at the child. Terrified beyond belief the kid raises his arms to shield his eyes for the fate that lay moments away crying out loudly. “AAAAAHHHH!”
~~~

Awakening with a heavy breath from a deep mediation, the young ninja lifted his head up peering around to his surroundings to see if anyone was in the area. He sat shirtless almost motionless under Yusaki water fall that was near his village, focusing his Chakra to the up most perfection, practicing his hand signs one after the other manipulating the water around him. He then stopped and at a moments peek and got on his feet walking bare footed on the rock foot steps of the Yusaki river, now drawing away from the falls he headed to an area on land where he was surrounded by a ring of trees, it was part of the forest where most of the ninjas of the mist village did their training. The young ninja stood in up straight posture with both hands together executing hand signs slowly then progressing with speed to the point where he stopped placing one arm in the air with both index and middle fingers pointed up, and the other arm near his torso as well as the fingers positioned the same.

“Kasumi no Jutsu.” The teenage shinobi said calmly, it was then that the area he was in began to thicken with an ire mist that covered the entire area it seemed. Slowly the young shinobi began kneeling down having his hands crossed, with a quick twitch of his fingers three shuriken appeared in each hand, he the them made haste as he jumped in the air, throwing then fast in random directions disappearing into the nothing it seemed, the mist was so thick that cutting throw it with a sword would had seemed adequate. Landing perfectly on one foot, the mysterious youngster let out a calm sigh as he placed his left hand on his right arm rubbing it slowly for it began throbbing, his whole right arm was covered in bandages all the way up to his shoulder leading to his neck, which was also covered, the only part exposed on his right arm was his fingers along with the rest of his upper torso. The Mist began to lose its thick nature as the area once again was being exposed as for the trees coming back into view, the young ninja began walking to the nearest tree, A melon was visible on the trunk for it was tied on with rope tightly in the middle of the trunk, a shuriken could be seen sunk into the melon right on a painted red dot. The weapon hit the mark dead center of the painted bull’s-eye, and as the young shinobi walk from one to the next it was all the same, the six shuriken hit their marks with perfect accuracy, letting out a slight grin the shinobi expressed a sign of accomplishment.

A clapping sound could be heard from a far as it became louder the closer it came to the area where the young ninja was. Turning around slowly the kid faced a man that stood about 6’2 with black spiky hair wearing a dark blue and grey Jounin suit, he was young looking, probably to be in his mid to late twenties.
“Your skill is most impressive Yuki, I have never seen such discipline from amongst all the students I have tought in the past, you make me proud…Yuki.” The mysterious Jounin stated. The young ninja now named Yuki greeted the senior ninja with a motionless grin, “Naku sensei…how are you this mourning.” Yuki responded as he began yanking the shuriken from the melons and placing them in his back pouch. The Jounin teacher began walking closer to calm hearted shinobi, “Yuki do you know what is happening in two days?” Naku said sarcastically, “I’m unsure sensei, will the mist village be holding another evening ceremony involving the clans again?” Yuki replied.

“The chunnin exams are going to be taking place.” Naku responded in concern.

Yuki began slowly brush his hand through his hair, tying it back with some string he had in his pocket. He then began walking past his sensei heading towards the village ignoring the answer that was directed to him.

“I have chosen are team to participate in the event, I feel we are up to the challenge…you being the most skilled and most sufficient to defeat the obstacles that lay before you, for most its time to end that nightmare you carry with in you…Yuki… understand I did this for you to keep moving in life, I want you to progress, you symbolize hope for the Usagi clan, your comrades… and me, I have learned much from you as well.” Naku stated, now with a sad expression.

“I feel to say…I know how you feel sensei, but I feel this has a lot to do with your ambitions and not the ones of the team, but my answer remains…no.” Yuki mused.

Yuki then jetted off with his arms pointed back into the shadows of the forest towards the village. Naku stood their facing the ground with an expression of sorrow on his face. Slowly he looked up to the sky which was now being lit up by the once mourning sun now being above and noon was upon the land of the hidden mist village. Arriving quietly at his lonely home, Yuki set foot through his window and into his room to where he sat then laid flat on his bed, looking at the ceiling spacing out, Yuki’s eye lids became heavy as he began drifting slowly to sleep, it was then that a body came crashing down through his window and into his room, surprised, Yuki leaped to his feet dashing towards his mantle to wear he had a grey mask with black feathers on the ends of it, quickly putting it on it covered only the top of his face exposing his mouth and part of his nose. He quickly faced the intruder and noticed it was his clumsy team mate.

“Yuki! What’s going on!” the noise shinobi announced, Yuki quickly quieted his team mate with a harmless palm strike to the jaw, “Ow!!” said the young tall ninja as he fell to the ground, “ I thought I told you never to surprise me like that Hikari! Did you see anything!” Yuki said now stressed out,

“Umm, no not really, all I can remember seeing was your floor as I came in for a landing.” The shinobi known as Hikari now, said.

The ninja was slightly taller then Yuki and had insanely bright red hair, he wore his mist head band on his left leg and had black goggles that he wore around his neck, his pants were short and grey color with black pen striping running through it, he wore a long sleeve netting shirt with a grey open vest and his eyes a magnificent hazel green.

“Hey I herd that you said no to the whole chunnin exam thing…why!” Hikari said now being serious.

“I don’t feel the need to go, and are team is far for being perfect, we need more training for there is no way that are skills can measure up to those heading to Konoha.”- “Your wrong Yuki!” Hikari interrupted, then continued, “ You don’t want to go cause your scared, you feel someone will best you even though you have never back down from a challenge, I seen how you fight in every mission we have been, even pulling through and surviving that [ A ] rank mission even when sensei said it was suicide, how could you be a coward when something such as the chunnin exam is where we can show are true skills for all to see!” Hikari concluded.

Yuki stood motionless from the words of his comrade, turning away to face the mantle from which he took his mask from. Hikari let out a short grunt then left the room and out the window leaving Yuki alone once again, he turned and walked towards his bed to where he sat once more and placed one hand on his face.

~~~
“Promise me…” a voice said.
The image of two kids began playing out in Yuki’s mind walking in a forest surround with much older people.
“Friends forever…ok…Shindo…”
~~~

Quickly coming to his senses Yuki took off his mask then placed his other hand on his face and began to cry. The tears streamed down his innocent face down and off his chin dripping one at a time on the floor, he then lifted his legs on to his bed and curled up into a ball and began to shiver as if the death of cold had reach him. “I don’t want to remember anything anymore…I wish none of that ever happened…what I should do to fix it… do I really need to go there, to Konoha and end this once and for all, I’m so cold…” Yuki whispered to him self. He slowly work his way off the bed and on to his feet, he then grabbed his black long sleeve ninja shirt and placed it on not after putting his arm guard attached his only melee weapon, razor sharp claws that extend from the guard, he placed it on his left arm flashing the sign of his village on the plate of the guard. He let the sleeves of his shirt hang past his hands to make the appearance that they are big, he walked towards his window and with out seconded thought he leaped out on to the roof of another building, continually doing to so heading to his destination, “ I have to ask my father for answers…he’ll know what to say.”

Night sprung gracefully on the mist village, the lights from the building seem to glitter with the stars as the people began to enjoy the night festival celebrating the chosen teams that are to head to Konoha for the Chunnin exams a day after tomorrow. Citizens and ninja began prowling the streets in excitement, kids with fire works could be seen enjoying the festival, a lonely ramen shop was open for business serving all who came.
*slurping

“I just don’t know sensei…How come he gets the final word on trip for the exams, I mean who put him as team leader, if it were to be someone it should have been me.” Hikari said as he consumed the last noodle in his bowl.

Naku and the third teammate Riku stared with annoyance at Hikari, as he started on another bowl. “I wouldn’t appoint you leader to anything even if you were the last ninja on the world!” Riku said as she flung her bowl at Hikari striking him on the head. Riku was a blond haired stubborn girl, she stands about 5’7 the same height as Yuki, her beauty being truly divine every male seems to throw them selves at her feet, her cloths match similar to Hikari only she wears a skirt and short shorts and closed shirts.

“Oh Riku your so hot when you get mad, you get me so fired up like that.” Hikari flirted, “You want to say that again you hairy bam boon’s ass head!” Riku threatened as she stood on her seat, “That’s enough from the both of you! Things are difficult for Yuki right at this moment, more then you know…if he says no then no, he’s the leader and he makes the judgment calls for the team.”

“But sensei can’t you do anything, you are the teacher and shouldn’t you have priority in the decision, this just doesn’t make sense…” Hikari said wiping the bits of ramen off his face

“ I have to agree on Hikari sensei, it feels like we are being cheated out of are one big chance to prove are worth to are village, I tried asking Yuki to change his mind but when I arrived at his house he wasn’t there this afternoon.” Riku said with concern, “maybe if you left him a note saying you’d spread them, I’m sure he’d change his mind…hee.” Hikari giggled, “You little ass smeared carrot top, can’t you be serious for once in your life!!!” Riku yelled as she leaped at Hikari tackling him.

Mean while on the other side of the village, Yuki had been speaking with his father in the house of Usagi. Yuki sat on one side of a small table legs folded sipping the tea that had been poured by a servant of the house, placing the cup on the table Yuki face his father that was fairly big with a large beard having grey streaks running through it as well as his hair, He wore a dark blue robe with gold out lines scattered through out it, his hair was fairly long reached to his shoulders.

“Why is it you choose not to go…do you fear of your self being exposed?” The senior spoke.

“Yes…no…I’m unsure father, I feel disgrace going to such a place, and if it to take me apart from you and the Usagi clan…I wish this not father.” Yuki explained.

“Yuki, its time you start feeling like a leader and not as a son, you are important to me…and many more, I wish you to not lose your focus in your truth.”

“Truth? What Truth is that?” Yuki said in confusion.

The old Usagi leader stood to his feet and walked to the window of his living room seeing into the sky and at the beauty of the night. Yuki followed close behind wanted to place his hands on the man he called father, trying to embrace him but couldn’t. It was then that the large middle aged man turned and faced the young ninja that stood before him.

“The key to suffering no more…being happy and free my son, you need to be free of your pain, and I know you will find it out there…your truth in destiny beyond these walls, the time is now to walk over the walls and grow up.” Yuki’s father said.

Shivering with cold again Yuki felt as though he was going to break down and cry again, but he contained him self.

“And maybe some day you will find the key to releasing you of this nightmare you carry on your face…Yuki I want you to go you deserve and need it.”

“We need it father, me and the team…Naku Sensei, I will do what I can to not let you down and anyone else anymore…and yes I will find this…truth.” Yuki shivered as tears raced down from under his mask, “Just know that I am proud of you and the Usagi is too.” Yuki’s father said happily.

“I will inform Naku Sensei that we will attend to the Chunnin exams and we will not fail.” Yuki said proudly.

With out a word Yuki sped out the door and back to his side of the village hoping to spread the news of his decision and prepare for the chunnin exam. The Usagi leader walked to the window once more to peer into the sky exploring the beauty of the stars…

“Good luck Yuki…” He said softly.
