From across the multi verse, the greatest fighters have been gathered. They fight for honor. They fight for glory. They fight to become the Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Champion.

But darker things may be happening. Why are they all here? Who has summoned them? Will they ever be allowed to return to their respective worlds?

Until these questions are answered, there is but one thing to do. Fight.

Here I am to take another stab at making a successful RPG at TBRS.

As you may have guessed, this RPG is based off Super Smash Brothers.

There will be two threads for this. The fight thread, where all tournament related battles will occur, and the off Arena thread, where you can take your characters for some down time. More details on these threads when I put them up.

You may have two characters who actually participate in the fights. However, other characters who would appear in the Arena thread (to support your fighters or what have you) can be up to three per fighter.

To keep things fair and unbiased, I shall not have any characters participating in the fights, only the judge, who will ultimately decide the winner.

As far as characters go, you may pick any character who appears in a video game from any platform. I care not, so long as they have appeared in a video game at some point. (This includes comic book chars who have appeared in a video game or anime characters who have)

As Judge, I reserve the right to reject characters.

If your character is removed from the actual competition (either due to losing enough fights or illicit off arena activities) it doesn't mean you have to stop playing. There's still the Off-Arena Thread.

Abilities: Super speed, awesome agility, acroabtic skills, reaction time, can transform into Super Shadow with the Chaos Emeralds, enormous physical strength, incredible resilience, fast recovery, releases more energy after taking off the rings on his wrists.
BIO: Created long ago by Prof. Gerald Robotnik to be the Ultimate Life Form, Shadow is the dark incarnation of Sonic the Hedgehog. Sharp witted and seemingly always on the edge, Shadow is one of the darkest and most violent people around. Once he sets himself on a goal, he will do whatever it takes to accomplish it, regardless of any danger. After putting his tragic past behind him and moving on, he strives to fulfill his purpose and keep the promise he made to his late friend, Maria Robotnik: to protect the world she loved so much. These days, Shadow isn't as aggressive as he was before, but he can still be very violent. Shadow originally entered the Brawl tournament before, making it as an assist trophy, providing aid to any fighter who summoned him, using his Chaos Control technique to slow down time for everyone except for the person who summoned him. Now, he's taken a step up, as a full-fledged fighter for this new tournament.

Name: Vector the Crocodile

Fighter or Observer: Fighter
Abilities: Very powerful, jaws can crunch metal down to size, horrible singing serves to distract enemies, can breathe fire, can shoot explosive gumballs from his mouth, skilled at climbing, good swimmer.
BIO: Vector is head of the Chaotix Detective Agency, and is the leader of his group of friends back home. Always solving cases for other people, most of the time, the culprit of their cases always turns out to be Dr. Eggman, and this leads to the Chaotix working with Sonic and his friends to bring down the evil scientist once again. Although Vector expects his clients to pay him for the jobs he gets, he has been known to do some charity work for free. Perhaps he may be a bit too charitable, as he does charity work a lot, never getting money for it, and barely having enough cash by the end of the week to pay for their office rent, not to mention all their bills. Now, though, he's a fighter in the new Super Smash Bros. tournament. And there's no doubt that he's hoping he'll win some money so that the Chaotix will have enough to pay off those dang bills.

BIO: Although he originally entered the Super Smash Brothers Melee and Brawl Tournaments as aid to Princess Peach, Toad has taken a step back to time to observe some of the fights taking place. He will be one of the Judges and Announcers in this tournament.

I guess I could use Espio and Charmy. They've gotta be there to support their leader. Maybe Rouge and Omega for Shadow.

Maybe Jet the Hawk. Maybe, have him bet on some fighters for a huge amount of money, true to his character.

So that leaves just one more. Better lay off on the Sonic characters for this last one.

I guess I could go for King Boo. Not really supporting anyone, he'd probably just want to see people senselessly beating each other up. It'd amuse him.

BIO: A member of the Chaotix Detective Agency, Espio is a purple chameleon, and a self-trained ninja. Always the serious, silent, and shady one of the bunch, he's always looking to get the job done, regardless of any danger, always confident that he will come out on top thanks to his ninja skills. Recently, he and Charmy have come to this new Super Smash Bros. tournament to support their leader, who's a participating fighter.

BIO: A member of the Chaotix Detective Agency, Charmy is a small, 6-year-old bee who tends to get on both Vector's and Espio's nerves, due to his scatterbrained personality. His hyperactive attitude seems pretty natural for a child his age. Never wanting to sit still, he's seen flying in the air almost all the time, never on the ground, or sitting down for more than two seconds. Yet, despite his tendency to annoy his two fellow detectives, they all still consider each other to be family. Plus, he does play a vital role in the agency. He has this uncanny ability to point out things that others miss. Recently, he and Espio have come to this new Super Smash Bros. tournament to support their leader, who's a participating fighter.

Name: Jet the Hawk

Video Game of Origin: Sonic Riders (2006)

BIO: Jet the Hawk is the leader of a group of thieves known as the Babylon Rogues. The Babylon Rogues normally go around the world on their hover vehicles called Extreme Gear, stealing all kinds of different valuable treasures, such as gold coins, diamonds, jewels, and the like. Jet's first encounter with Sonic was at Eggman's Extreme Gear racing tournament, the EX World Grand Prix. Though at first they were nothing but fierce rivals competing to see who is the fastest Extreme Gear rider, the two are now good friends, though Jet still wishes to race against Sonic to reclaim his title as the fastest rider, whenever the chance arises. Recently, he participated in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, mainly taking part in all of the snowboarding events. While his snowboarding skills are on par with his Extreme Gear skills, ultimately, he lost at the Snowboard Cross event. Now, in a new attempt to get rich, he's come to the Super Smash Bros. tournament as an observer, betting on several fighters for huge amounts of money.

Name: Rouge the Bat
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Video Game of Origin: Sonic Adventure 2 (2001)
Fighter or Observer: Observer
BIO: An 18-year-old albino bat, Rouge is a jewel thief, and, like Shadow, is an agent of G.U.N. Although she seems to think only about jewels and her looks most of the time, she does look out for everyone, and is concerned for everyone's health and benefit. She is a member of Team Dark, and highly respects Shadow as the leader of the team. When it comes to jewels, she's definitely a girl everyone needs to keep their eyes on, as she's constantly going after the Chaos Emeralds, and trying to steal the Master Emerald from under Knuckles' nose. She's also a rival of the echidna, and a great kickboxer, having as much power in her feet as Knuckles has in his fists. She's currently in a relationship with Shadow. Now, she's come to the Super Smash Bros. tournament to support her leader and boyfriend.

Name: E-123 Omega
Age: No real age, as he's a robot.
Gender: Genderless, since he's a robot, however his voice is that of a male, and so will be referred to as such.
Video Game of Origin: Sonic Heroes (2003)
Fighter or Observer: Observer
BIO: E-123 Omega is a very powerful robot, created by Dr. Eggman. He's the 24th and last model of Eggman's E-100 series of robots, and is probably the most powerful robot Sonic and friends know of. Shortly after his creation, Eggman foolishly thought Omega would be useless, and shut him down, leaving him in one of his abandoned bases. He had no idea that this would cause Omega to become extremely angry, and vow to destroy all of his robots, and then kill him to prove he's the strongest robot Eggman's ever created. Omega was first reactivated when Rouge infiltrated the base when she heard that Eggman was keeping a hidden treasure. She didn't know, however, that that treasure was Shadow himself, who was rescued by Eggman shortly after he saved his world from the falling space colony, ARK. Not only did she realize that Shadow had amnesia at the time, thus wasn't able to remember who he was, but upon releasing him from the capsule he was in, she had accidentally reactivated an enraged Omega. The robot began decimating the entire vicinity to burning cinders, and, confusing Shadow for another one of Eggman's robots, was about to do away with him too, when Rouge stopped the two from getting into a big fight. Shadow wanted answers to who he was, which could only come from Eggman. Rouge was going after Eggman, to see if he really does have any secret treasure. Omega just wanted to kill Eggman for sealing him inside the abandoned base. Since they were all after the same person, Rouge suggested they all team up. This is how Team Dark was first formed. He cares for the safety and benefit of everyone, especially his best friends Shadow and Rouge. When Omega was created, he had many weapons built into his arms, thus truly marking him as a living weapon of destruction. Weapons include machine guns, flamethrowers, missile launchers, and laser turrets and rifles. Although, he can be pretty lethal with those deadly claws of his too. Although he cares for his friends and other innocent people, if he's annoyed with someone's antics or stupidity enough, he's prone to calling them "stupid meatbags". Now, he's come to the Super Smash Bros. tournament to support his leader.

Name: King Boo
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Video Game of Origin: Luigi's Mansion (2001)
Fighter or Observer: Observer
BIO: True to his name, King Boo is the king of all Boos, and is the most powerful out of all of these ghosts. He's been known to work with Bowser several times, helping to carry out many plots to do away with the Mario Bros. Although, he has been known to come up with his own plans to put the two plumbers down for good. The first time the two ever met him was when Luigi received a mysterious message, saying he had won a mansion in a contest that he never entered. When Luigi told Mario about it, the brothers agreed to meet each other there. Of course, neither of them realized that this was all a plot to kidnap the brothers, and place them both in portraits, and lock them away in his altar in the mansion forever. He managed to capture Mario and seal him in a portrait, but Luigi wasn't as easy. In fact, despite using all his power in a final showdown in the mansion, Luigi managed to come out on top. Since then, King Boo has been doing everything he could to defeat the Mario Bros. Recently, he's come to the Super Smash Bros. tournament to take some delight in watching all of the fighters beat each other to a pulp.

BIO: Amy Rose has always chased around Sonic the Hedgehog. She supported him during Brawl, and at some point caught the eye of some of the Super Smash brothers higher ups. She will be participating in this tournament as an announcer and Judge.

BIO: Born to parents who made their way in the world as members of a traveling theater group, Three Dog grew up listening to rock music, hating the government that he never knew, fully believing in the rights of free speech and communal law. He is the Head Announcer and Judge for the tournaments, and as such, does it the most.

Name: Adamska (A.K.A Revolver Ocelot, Shalaska, Liquid Ocelot)

Abilities: sharpshooting, proficiency with almost any weapon, especially pistols, capable of ricocheting bullets, a master of CQC, and has a cybernetic right arm.
BIO: [SPOILER] Ocelot was born during the Allied invasion of Normandy (France) on June 6, 1944. He is the son of the legendary members of the Cobra Unit, The Boss and The Sorrow. Shortly after birth, Ocelot was taken from his parents by agents of the Philosophers. He served under command of Yevgeny Borisovitch Volgin of the GRU, but was secretly a sleeper agent of both the KGB and the CIA, rooted in the American branch of The Philosophers. He was given the codename ADAM. Because of his heritage, he was given preferential treatment as a Spetsnaz GRU agent and was even promoted Major of his Ocelot Unit. After operation Sneak Easter, Ocelot continued his life as a spy and agent of the newly formed Patriots. While in the Spetsnaz GRU, he participated in the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. It was during this time that he became infamous amongst the mujahideen as a sadist for which they christened him Shalashaska. Revolver Ocelot then cut a swath through the world's hot spots as a spy and mercenary up until the early 2000s, when he discovered that FOXHOUND was now being commanded by one of Big Boss' sons, Liquid Snake, and he joined the unit. Having held Big Boss in such high regard in his earlier years, he was more than willing to fight under one of his sons. But despite being a part of FOXHOUND, Ocelot secretly worked for President George Sears (Solidus Snake, the third Snake), and the Patriots - double crossing the former. Solidus, in his personal agenda to rid the United States of the Patriots, used Ocelot to incite Liquid Snake into bringing about the Shadow Moses uprising. Ocelot secretly provided Solidus with information regarding the dissension of Liquid Snake. In 2007, The Patriots ordered Ocelot to steal RAY, planning mass production as a means of protecting its own Metal Gear then in development, known as Arsenal Gear. On August 8th, 2007, with the help of Sergei Gurlukovich, Revolver Ocelot infiltrated the tanker where RAY was being transported and stole it, sinking the tanker. He also betrayed Gurlukovich, and left both him and Marine Commander Scott Dolph for dead. The Patriots then continued with their plan, unaware that Ocelot was working on betraying them, sinking a real oil tanker at the same spot, and constructing the Big Shell. All that was left to do was manipulate Solidus Snake into the Patriots' trap. Revolver Ocelot then met up with Solidus and the two formed the Sons of Liberty with Dead Cell and Olga Gurlukovich and her mercenary army, plotting to take over the Big Shell, which secretly housed Arsenal Gear. Solidus Snake planned to eliminate the Patriots, completely unaware that his partner in the plan was one of them. At the end of the mission, Ocelot revealed to him, however, the truth that all the events that had unfolded were scripted by the Patriots. Solidus Snake, like his adopted son Raiden, was merely a pawn. Both he and agent Raiden had been part of the S3 Plan, a huge test scenario for GW, one of the Patriots' AIs. Solid Snake's appearance was engineered by Liquid Snake. Through the transplanted arm, Liquid periodically possessed Ocelot's body with the goal of disrupting Ocelot's plan. At the climax of the Manhattan Incident, Liquid once again took control of Ocelot, stealing Metal Gear RAY, and heading off to take down the Patriots. Ocelot later replaced Liquid's arm with a cybernetic one via an arm transplant conducted in Lyon, France

He has been entered into the tournament as an agent of the patriots, in order to gather information on the other fighters for analysis, and to if possible, to figure out the method for inter-dimensional transport used by the tournament, and steal the technology. [/SPOILER]

Abilities: Flight, super-strength, super-speed

Biography: Buttercup is one of three super-powered girls created by the scientist, Professor Utonium of Townsville. The "toughest fighter" of the trio, Buttercup is a stubborn, aggressive tomboy. Along with her sisters, Blossom and Bubbles, she defends the city of Townsville, and the world from time to time, from a variety of criminals and super-powered baddies.

Although the strongest of her family, she oftentimes feels the least special of them. It doesn't help that she lacks a special talent, whereas her sisters have unique abilities. Buttercup has thus entered the tournament to prove herself.

She has not, however, told her family she is participating.

In terms of outfit, though, I'm going with a green T-shirt and pants, in keeping with her tomboyish nature.
