Fritz sighed as he walked home. It sucked, he was too close to home for the bus yet too far for any of his friends to give him a lift! And because of the humans around, he couldn't change forms, so, he was forced to walk.

Fritz muttered to himself "What I would do for a car ride."

Nodin looked about as he rounded the corner to where his car sat. He told the driver that he didn't want others to see him being picked up at the high school. Almost nobody knew that he had been adopted by one of the better-off families but himself and the family, and Nodin wanted to keep it that way. He was about to move to the car when he heard a voice behind him. Nodin jumped and turned around to see a child much smaller than himself. He let out a sigh of relief. "It's nothing grand.." He said in reply, not knowing the context in which the child had meant it.

Fritz looked up and frowned, was this guy mocking him? Fritz cocked a brow and said "To someone on foot, it is very grand."

It suddenly clicked in his head what he'd meant by his previous statement. A small smile spread across his lips. "Would you like a ride? My car's just over there.." He motioned to the car with the driver that was waiting for him.

Fritz paused, getting into a car with a stranger was dangerous, yet he knew he could handle himself and besides, if need be, he could change forms and draw attention.

Fritz walked over and held out his hand as he siad "Thank you, I am Fritz by the way."

Nodin smiled softly, taking the other's hand when offered. "I'm Nodin. It mean's 'wind'. You're probably hungry, right? Would you like to come over for lunch, too?" Nodin really couldn't even hurt a fly, infact, he'd be afraid of the fly attacking him. He had no reason what-so-ever to hurt a child, not to mention, they could probably out bulley him any day.

Fritz's belly gurgled a yes as he said "Yes please. Oh, do you have a cell phone I can borrow?" He was still saving up for his own, he hated leeching off of Sage for things like that. Fritz gave the other's hand a strong shake and a warm smile.

Nodin nodded slightly, fishing in his pocket and leading them over to the car. He handed the phone to him, the charms jingling slighlty. He opened the car door for Fritz. He looked to the driver and told him to head for home. "Then we can drive you home after, okay?"

Fritz nodded and after dialing home said "Sage, its me Fritz, I am getting a ride home with a man called Nodin, in a black limo.."and he proceeded to rattle off the license plate. Fritz hung up and said "I hope I didn't offend you."

Nodin shook his head. "No. It's fine." He said as he took his phone back once he was sure Fritz was done. His house was a little ways away, so there was plenty of time for conversation. "So, how old are you, anyway? Shouldn't you have a parent walking with you?"

Alex relaxed and leaned back as he said "I am 14 and trust me, I can handle myself. And, well, really don't have a parent per se." Alex thought and said "Though Sage is kinda of a girly man, so maybe mom?"
