He wasn't inside, hell no. He wasn't even going into the inner court yard of the stupid school. He didn't have to, and they couldn't make him. Point Blank.

He looked to be about 11, but that was because physically he wasn't as 'aged' as he actually was. he was in truth, more towards 13 to these human standards.

Having to fend for himself before he could properly hunt was stunting his growth process..

It was because of these stupid people his family was gone.. He glared at anyone who even thought to look at him.. He didn't like it here.. It was just sadly, so much easier to get what he needed...

Fritz crinkled his nose, he smelled predator!
School wasn't so bad and the library here was amazing! He was glad Sage made him enroll here, even if he had to deal with humans. Honestly, in the wild, half of the drama would have been solved by fighting.

However, when he found the source of the scent, he frowned, the guy was clearly lost and pissed.

Saiko frowned, and his nose twitched slightly. He smelled a.. Reindeer? He turned his head, and looked, and frowned, he saw a blond kid looking at him. Was that the reindeer?

Well, he knew better than to try and mess with him, He was just a fox, the Reindeer would easily trample his ass, more so when he didn't really know how to hunt that well anyhow.

Fritz walked over and said "You look a bit lost, need a hand?" Fritz, getting closer, realized the scent was a fox, and therefore, no threat to him. And besides, even in this form, he could kick this 10 year old's ass.

He frowned, but decided, he was offering to help, and he was at least not a damn human. "I guess.. I don't know where to go." he muttered. Which would classify under lost, right? "I dont have anywhere to go either, so then again, perhaps i'm not techniqually 'lost'." he stated.

This caused raised brows and finally "Alright, are you registered here or just wandering about?" Some of the nonhumans came to the schools because of pack behavior, which caused a lot of problems.

He frowned, "Registered?" he asked, not sure what that meant.. "I just wandered in here.. I don't know much of anything about this place" he stated honestly. He didn't have a reason to lie to the other. Not yet anyhow.

"Ah." Fritz sighed and said "Your in luck, school is out, so you won't get in trouble." Hmm "Whats your name?" At the very least, someone this young should be out alone!

He blinked a few times.. why would he get in trouble period? No one knew him here! "Oh.. erm, My name is Saiko" he stated.

Fritz smiled and said "I am Fritz, care to get some lunch?" He had some money and Sage was out doing..well, doing that thing he did during the day, Fritz had been too sleepy to hear what he had said.

Saiko blinked, But before he could verbably answer, his stomach growled.. He figited slightly.. "erm.. I.. guess.." he muttered softly.. He hadn't eaten since... err... He couldn't even remember his last meal it was so long ago.

Fritz frowned and said "On a scale of 1-10, how hungry are you?" He didn't have a lot of money with him.

Saiko blinked, "Not.. really" he stated.. Which wasn't to far from the truth. He wasn't feeling any hunger pains, those stopped awhile ago.

"You ever eaten human food before?" Some animals got sick from processed food.

He shook his head, "I havn't." he stated honestly... "Like I said.. I just literally got into the town" he stated lightly. He suddenly growled, rather loudly. If he had been in his fox form, his hackles would of been raised, his auds would of been pinned back... He turned, looking around.. and growled more... "How big are you, in your animal form?" he suddenly asked.

"Quite large and my antlers have come in, why?" He had a bad feeling, his instincts told him to bolt, flee, but he was among humans, they made sure killing was stopped.

He growled lightly, "We gotta run" he stated frowning.. He could smell them.. It was those damn wolves that kept picking on him. One had gone so far to try and eat him, but luckily he had gotten distracted,and he got away... "Now!" he stated, giving the other a shove in the direction away from their scents.

Fritz stumbled but glared as he said "No." Thing about reindeer and other horned animals, they usually bolt but if cornered, are deadly to fight. Their size and antlers are sharp and they know how to use them.

Saiko growled, "Why the hell not? We can easily get away!" he stated, tensing as he heard the chuckles, he turned, and growled lightly.

Fritz smirked as he said "Simple, learned one thing from humans, if you beat up a bully, he leaves you alone." That and the fact he had a knife in his pocket helped.

Saiko frowned, "Ya..." He was such an idiot... He moved, and stepped to a side... Maybe.. Maybe they'd follow him.. it was his fault they were here anyhow.

The one that seemed to have 'point' chuckled, "Arn't you happy to see us little one?" Although the Reindeer would make a good meal for the pack, he was more interested in the little fox..

Saiko growled, "why the hell would I be?" he asked, stepping to a side... He paused, waited, then turned, seeing no one, took his fox form, and bolted...

"Get Im'!" he stated, as no one was around, they took their wolf forms, and followed him.. "You're not getting away again brat!" The swiftly moved past the reindeer kid, they could always find him later..

Saiko gulped.. well.. they.. followed.. But he didn't know the town at all.. And he yelped when he found himself at a dead end.. He panicked, and tried digging under the fence... al he needed...

Saiko yelped as one of the wolves grabbed him by his scruff.

"Doesn't the fox baby want to play with us anymore?" the wolf sneered.

Fritz growled and followed, shifting forms. Reindeer move very fast when pressed and are very large animals. So when the 500lb charging form slammed into the body of a stationary wolf, antlers first, the result would not be pretty or plesant for the wolf.

Saiko whined hearing a wolf yelp, and the one holding him held tighter and bolted off, with a few of the others, trying to keep out of the way of the reindeer..

The lead wolf snarled, "This does not involve you Reindeer, unless you want to be lunch"

Saiko grolwed weakly as he was shook some, "J-just get out of here!" he stated... He didn't want the first other to be nice to him to get killed.

Fritz smirked as he easily kept pace and said "Hey stupid, ever wonder why it takes a pack to take down a reindeer? ITs because if a wolf went toe to toe with me, I would simply gore him to death." Fritz used his antlers to get under one wolf and threw him over his back as he let out a bellow.

He snarled and shifted, two of his wolves were hurt, and left only 4 of them left able to fight back. He knew better than to risk it, "Lets go" he barked out, and they started to take off..

The one holding saiko shook his head roughly, before he tossed the kit and took off after the other three... The two hurt, slowly tried to follow.

Saiko had tensed at the shaking, and yelped when he was tossed to the side... Ow, ow ow...

Fritz stopped and bugled in truimph, snorting as he turned and frowned. He switched forms and cradled Saiko and said "You alright dude?"

Saiko blinked slowly.. "why..?" he asked softly, slowly looking up at him... "Why.. did you risk yourself getting hurt to help me?" he asked softly.

Fritz smiled as he said "There was once a lonely street kid who was taken in by a ferret. I am just paying it forward dude."

Saiko blinked, not really understanding, but just gave a nod... His hip hurt from where he hit the ground, and his scruff was bleeding from the wolf having bitten him.

"come on, change forms, your coming home with me tonight."

Saiko blinked, but gave a faint nod... Moving he winced, but shifted forms, and basically collapsed, wincing as he soon pressed a hand against his ip..

"Can you walk?"

Saiko frowned, 'I dont know.." he didn't think so.. It hurt to even have weight on it..

"Want to head to a doctor?"

He frowned, "No" he stated shortly. He heard tales of them.. "It's just sore from getting tossed... It'll be fine.." he stated... and.. to prove his point, forced himself to stand..

"Dude, if your hurting, don't be stupid. Lets get to a doctor, there is a free clinic around the corner."

Saiko frowned, "I dont want to." he stated bluntly... Of course, the rumors he heard were for vets, not doctors, but he didn't know there was a difference.. "I dont want them to put me down because they dont want to deal with me" he stated frowning.

Fritz frowned and said "First off, doctors don't do that, vets do. Second, there is a no kill animal law in this part of town." He did a report on it for school!

Saiko frowned... "I doubt they'll be able to help... I just gotta keep off it for awhile.." Well, after it was relocated, but he didn't know that.

"Nonsense! Here, lean on me. If you screwed up your hip, next time those bullies come, you won't be able to run." Low blow but it was needed.
