Brown University The beautiful Ivy League University, Brown is home to many students searching for knowledge in these halls of learning. The campus is spread all around the city, and the Main Green is a pleasant place to visit. If you're hungry, visit the Verney Wooley (nicknamed the VDub) dining hall for any meal of the day.

Thayer Street Located right near the Brown University dorms, Thayer captures the spark and spunk of college and city life. Street vendors sell jewelry, and new age botiques line the streets. Johnny Rockets and Ben & Jerry's offer food. CVS provides everything else that is missing.

RISD RISD, the school for all things artsy. Rhode Island School of Design is home to this century's up and coming artists, models, fashion designers, playwrights, actors, and writers. It's a closed campus, so really only students and their guests can get in, but they offer a annual fashion show, where the models where anything but fabric (from bottle caps to teabags to toy cars).
