Blink Or Greenday

Well what do you think.

I would have to say Blink, I dont know why I just cant stand most of greendays stuff. Where as blink have amazing songs, Great live preformances and halarious videos.

I would have been Green Day, But I hate what Billy Joe has turned into after American Idot - So its Blink.

Oh my. What a hard choice.. for me, it is because I don't neccesarily like either of the bands.

Green Day- well as Marc said.. look what they have become. John Lydon was the one who said "Green Day aren't punk, they're plonk".

And Blink- Well, Blink have always been seen as a joke band to me. But their last album before the Greatest hits, the self-titled one, that was very good.

Right, since I lost my work the first time I typed this out, Im really riled up now. Greenday do not make punk. To be completely honest they have practically murdered the punk spirit, and such.

Apart from The Who, and Pink Floyd, GreenDay is one of the few bands to consider making a movie. Why? Becuase they have had one super-successful album. They want a movie based round American Idiot, which is basically going to be a string of music videos stuck together no doubt. They say its for the message, I say its for the money. And then, what else makes them "punk". They pulled the plug on their old label! Oh, sure, this little indie label hasnt been giving you the money or hasnt distributed enough, give them the boot. NO! Thats just arrogance of the lowest form, and to be honest it takes you from being punk to being a true American Idiot. (more evidence below)

Seriously, GreenDay doesnt give a damn about the music industry, only money and fame. All they have accomplished since joining Warner is taking dis-illusioned Pop kids and making them think they are punk, and then murdering punk in the process and leaving it for dead in a Hollywood gutter.
