Items permanently on Merenla's person.

Short sword: As its name implies — approximately 2 feet long, bladed, pointed at one end, with a hilt at the other. It is a sword, after all. Serves as Merenla's main offence.

The sword has small holes down the centre of the blade to help lower its weight, so it looks rather unusual in that respect.

Utility belt: A belt (obviously) with two satchels attached and a scabbard for the short sword. The satchels are just for keeping any smaller items Merenla finds or needs handy.

Pack of playing cards: Though it serves no real use out while robbing someone dry of their money, it's something Merenla keeps handy when she's in a gambling mood.

Items stored away.

Quiver with arrows: Does exactly what it says on the tin. Merenla insists on seagulls' feathers for the arrows' flights because "they deserve it".

Bow: It's... er, a bow. Not a ribbon, mind you; the kind that fires arrows. Made from oak and pine, with flax string.

Grappling chain: It's a chain which can be used to grapple with. Obviously, the end of the chain has a large fish-hook. Rather than for climbing walls, Merenla uses it to grab certain items out of her reach and, on occasion, for fighting.

Hatchet: Sometimes you need firewood...

Various books: Goodness knows how an uneducated thief learned to read, but Merenla has done so. Perhaps it was curiosity. Otherwise, why would she steal books on subjects like mycology, card games rules and strategies, cooking recipes, etcetera?

Lockpicks: A thief without lockpicks, you say? Not so!
