here's one of my own strange poems:
Diary of an Insane Chinese Man Hallo my name is Ding Fun Chung, pretty song that I have sung. Evening rooster whistle tune, my nose can balance shiny spoon. I see not good, what can I say? My eyes are slanted, that’s okay. I work at restaurant everyday, and feed the people well. I not know what these people say, but they all cannot tell. Americans make fun of me, when they pass I can see, but keep this secret heeheehee, in their food is poo and pee!! |

Italian mobster...oy. sad yet funny. You pull your hair back for a day and you get your own theme song!
here's another poem by my strangely creative brain: A Warning to Ye Leprechauns Weeee the leprechaun did sing, he just found out a special thing. In this special pot of gold, discovered something small yet bold. A gloober honker is the prize, it makes the blind open there eyes. The Poorest man can gain so much, money by a single touch. The halfling man was yet to see, that on the bad, works oppositely. His eyesight left himself behind, now the little man was blind. The leprechaun began to wail, he now owned but an empty pail. His gold did vanish, this is true. so I'd be careful if I were you. If a gloober honker you do find, you should toss it right behind. This magic stone is not for sale, it will send your soul to hell. |

This Poem I made up rather quickly. I wrote half last night and half when I got in from school. I really like this one. Its not funny or wacky....but I chose to put it in here because it is a bit random in that it just poped up in my head and I was like, Whoaa, neato.
Something wicked this way comes, slowly through the trees Coldness doth the evil bring, swiftly through the breeze. Shadows cast upon the ground, by the passing cloud, Stillness, quiet, not a sound, as light it doth enshroud. What is this presence moving now? why must it be here? Slyly it hast come for thou, and this you start to fear. Darkness onto you doth grasp, thy heart begins to pound. “I’ve come for thee” a voice doth rasp tis you this evil hath found. |

Here is an 'Animation Concept' or in other words... it's a short story giving the general plot for the design of an animation. After this, I make a script outline, and then a storyboard. But for now, here is the little story.
The rules for the assignment was we had to take any original character, and put it in a situation where its conflict is versus the environment. We had to have a total of 3. The first 2 conflicts the character had to react and overcome, and the last it didn't matter which way it ended. So here is my little concept, haha! Enjoy! Squeebert and the Hiccups The spring season was moving forward ever faster and Squeebert needed to finish his nest if he wanted to have any chance with the cute little female bird next door, Flufmary. He desperately hopped around and plucked up bits of twig, but every time he would fly off he would hiccup and the twig would fall from his beak. Some times he would get so close to reaching his semi-built nest, but the mighty burst of a hiccup would erupt and down the twig would fall. He hopped around on one leg, did a few somersaults and held his breath; in hope his hiccups would go away. When none of that worked, he drank beak-fulls of water until his belly was very wide, and he had to waddle around until he returned to normal. Finally, his hiccups went away after a series of bizarre movements and he continued gathering twigs. Squeebert was putting the final bits of his nest together when out of nowhere a great storm settled in. The wind howled and the thunder roared, sending all the little creatures scampering off to their homes. Having not finished his delicate nest yet, Squeebert tried to gather what he could and fly bravely through the storm. The wind being so strong would blow him off course, though he would try again. He tried over and over several times, but each time the frightened little bird would fear for his life and grab onto a nearby branch, and unfortunately drop another twig. Deciding not to risk his tail feathers anymore, he buried himself in what he had so far of his nest and waited for the storm to pass. The storm had finally rolled away, allowing the brightness of the sun to shine through the thicket of branches high above. Squeebert came out from under his wing and looked around. He gave a pitiful cry when he saw that what he had of his nest was back to nothingness once more. Feeling very unsettled and down, he sat for a moment and wondered if he should even bother trying to rebuild again. He had spent so much time and put forth so much effort that it seemed too great a setback to start over again. So Squeebert moped and moped, crying over his poor little nest that was reduced to a single stick and lonely string, when suddenly the tree gave a great quiver and a quake, and it started to fall. He held on for life as his homey tree collided with the next, completely fallen and leaving no shelter high in the sky anymore. The last of his nest was entirely gone now. Squeebert was beyond sadness by then and gave a mighty roar, or as close to one as a bird could muster. The echo of his ferocious squawk made the last of the fallen branches shake in trembling fashion, and before his beady little eyes, loose twigs and sticks had fallen into a perfect nest. It happened so quickly that Squeebert stared mid-squawk, unable to believe the wonderful sight before him. Then a feeling of joy fluttered in his chest, and he stuck it out proudly and flew around excitedly. Finally, he settled in his new nest and felt content. By the stir of commotion, Flufmary’s curiosity had been roused. Not too long after did she move in with Squeebert, finding his nest nestled in the fallen tree quite comfortable and cozy. She nuzzled her little beak into his feathery neck, and all Squeebert could do was smile on the inside. He was about to give a hearty chirp when suddenly a hiccup emerged from his beak, but thankfully the nest held strong. In the future, Squeebert and Flufmary will have a kid named TeeWee. Isn't that the cutest?! YAY!!!! Ok.... hopefully I get to animate this some day, but we shall see. Toodles! |

Ok, so this is another writing sample I had to do for my writing class. The basis was write a 5 paragraph sample from 5 different character povs (point of views) all reacting to the same thing... such as a noise, event, ect ect ect.... and it had to be in first person. Well.... it took me a lil while to figure out anidea, but then I remembered a tory I started so I did a spin off of that. Hope you like it! Weeeeee! Enjoy and all that stuff....
When the Bell Chimes Dong! The bell chimes in the distance. I can hear it from my small cabin on the outskirts of the town. It is the only sound that echoes for today all is silent. The chime clangs in sadness and sorrow, offering a lone pitch that reaches out like a small hand into the hearts and ears surrounding it. I cannot see the ceremony from the porch on which I sit, but a vision colors itself in my mind since it has been there partially before: All the faces are melted into grief, as fists clench or grasp onto a handkerchief that dabs at the water roaming over soft skin. I hoped this would not come. I tried to warn them, but no one would listen. That is why I remain here, in the company of my own, as all the rest linger on in loneliness since their precious hope is lost. Now I put my faith in two ominous and exiled figures of hope that will cross paths sometime soon. They are all we have left. Dong! The bell chimes as I walk down the once happy street of my childhood, a pack heaved high on my shoulders. The old woman, Nogara, mentioned this unpleasant fate might occur, but they all disregarded her, believing her to be out of sorts as usual. Part of me wanted to turn away from the possibility of this event, act like all the others in their selfish and ignorant ways. Yet I lingered on the edge of curiosity that maybe what she saw was more than just a dream, and I cast myself aside from the others and still I waged the worth of all these deeds. It happened so suddenly that not even I could comprehend it, even though I had prepared myself for the worst. So now I continue down this dimly lantern-lit street, turning away from the distant chime that tries to reach out and embrace me. I cringe at it, because it strikes with a truth that what I feared has indeed come to pass. Now it is my time to move forward but never to forget. As I travel through the trees the last of the chimes disappear, leaving me to be completely alone. Dong! The bell chimes and I fall to my knees before the great stone tomb of my only son. The rage in my body fights with the loss in my heart, as my mind journeys on in an endless race for understanding. I feel my husband’s hand grasp my shoulder, offering the solace of another’s warmth, though I can feel nothing but a cold and passionless pain. Why I did not listen to the crazy old woman, or Thane’s persistence I’ll never comprehend, but all I will feel is regret knowing this all could have been avoided. I am at a loss for thoughts and words, sounds even to connect me to the physical world. The only things I have left are my tears that fall consistently and perpetually onto the earth and my heaving chest. I wonder now if I will ever feel alive again, or will this sentiment of grief consume me and finally swallow me whole. Dong! The bell chimes over the bereavement of my passing. I look down from the endless sky where I rest eternally now, and I see the grief that has spread like disease over the populace for which I served. I do not feel cheated because I accepted my fate before it was known. To serve and protect my kind, no matter what lay ahead, that was my oath, my duty, and my honor for which I gave my life. The only flaw in this ancient and noble deed was the way I had to fall. I had heard the warnings but no one wanted to believe them, we were all scared, I know that now. If only I had listened to my most faithful friend, I would be walking beside him into the great forests of our land that he now pursues, hunting down the terror that threatens the rest of my people’s existence. However, it was me who was hunted, and it was through me that the example was set. Now my only service can be my guidance to those who were loyal to me, who will fight in revenge of my name until justice is brought upon the fowl fiend that roams freely and mysteriously in the dark. Dong! The bell chimes below as I look over the ceremony from the hills that lie above. I am not shedding tears like I thought I would for it seems my mind has forged me into calm. Hordes of people will discuss my disappearance. They can think me dead for all I care. My only reason for lingering was because of Vian, him being my only true friend, though now he is gone. My priorities now rest within my capability to avenge his death, and to fulfill the rousing power of fury within me. I turn away from the scene below after one last gaze at the stone tomb. I move swiftly through the trees as the dusk approaches quickly, until I see the object of my motivations and my future dilemmas. I drop down onto the path before him and he stares at me expressionless. He says nothing but after a moment continues forward, passing me. Without hesitation I follow Thane into the unknown, where our strengths will be tested and our fates entwined while pursuing an improbable journey. |
