---------------------------------------------------------------

Name: Venus Jones
Gender: Female
Age: N/A
Grade: N/A
School: N/A
Extra Curricular Activities: Tennis

Description: African-American in origin, Venus's skin is a dark chocolate in color. Her dyed blonde, but more gold-looking hair, is always braided into small braids and pulled back into a ponytail that even then extends to her mid-back. She has what many people have referred to as "cat eyes", slightly slanted eyes that are an usual light mocha color, resembling that of a cat. Venus's features are well-defined, giving her a mature and aged look. Her wide forehead, thinly arched eyebrows, slightly puggish nose, and large lips give her this image, and some people might consider her fairly attractive, if not for the fact that Venus rarely, if ever, adorns makeup. Venus is tall in frame, standing at roughly 5'8", and although she is still by all rights lean, her figure has become somewhat bulky with muscle over time.

In terms of dress, Venus generally adorns athletic gear of some type. She is always seen sporting headbands or visers, and she's generally either wearing one of her prized tennis polos, a tanktop, or a wifebeater, along with either a tennis skirt or windbreaker pants. Never one for flip-flops or sandals, Venus sports running shoes a majority of the time. Her appearance certainly doesn't scream fashionista, and indeed, that seems to be the furthest thing from Venus's mind. An athlete in every sense of the word, this African-American girl eats, lives, and breathes sports, and tennis is her passion.

Born to an average American family consisting of her mother, father, an older brother and younger sister, Venus doesn't exactly fit into the stereotypical "middle child" role. She was, as you may have guessed, named after tennis great Venus Williams. On the day when her mother dubbed her by that name, she had no idea how it could come to impact Venus as a person, and influence her on the road she would take in life. Venus was your typical happy, healthy, chubby baby, and had no rough patches or drastic illnesses to speak of. She grew up into a happy, healthy toddler, and from there into a young child.

It was at this age that Venus began to wonder about the person her mother had idolized enough to name her baby after, and when Venus Jones was introduced to Venus Williams, she was also introduced to the world of tennis, something that would impact her life drastically. Wimbledon. That became Venus's dream, and never one to sit back and let fate hand her the cards, Venus grabbed the proverbial horse by the reigns and began travelling a path taken by few.

And so, from a young age onward, Venus emersed herself in this newly-found world, and discovered her undying passion for a sport known to few. The Williams sisters became her idols, and she aspired to be just like them. While she didn't exactly have a natural talent for the sport, she had an uncanny drive to succeed, and with that and a lot of practice, Venus became a dominant force on the tennis court.

Tennis continued to be her number one priority throughout junior high and high school, and at this point in her life, Venus is an extremely talented tennis player. Of course, certain sacrifices have been made to get to where she is now. School just fails in comparison to her favorite sport, and so Venus's grades are far from perfect. Mostly C's, really. She does what she has to to get by, never any more or any extra, as it takes away from her practice time.

Friends and social outings aren't really Venus's thing. She can be seen on occassion being dragged to a party with her fellow tennis players, and every once in a while she'll make an appearance at another school event. She's not the most social person in the world, and comes off as a bit rough around the edges. She's an intimidating force in stature, appearance, and attitude, and certainly not one to be messed with. Although Venus has what could best be described as a dominating appearance, she's not one to bully or hassle other kids, as it all seems so... trivial... to her.

Clique: N/A

Relationships: N/A

Other: Venus is very passionate about her sport, so much so that her life seems to revolve around it. Her family is very supportive, often bringing the entire group to her tennis matches.

PRESTON HAS BEEN ADOPTED BY MITSUKO2

Name: Preston Grey
Gender: Male
Age: N/A
Grade: N/A
School: N/A
Extra Curricular Activities: Drinking, Partying, Surfing, Employed Part-Time at Father's Restaurant

Description: Nothing in particular really stands out about Preston, though he has an uncanny resemblance to California's Boardwalk population. Standing at medium height, around 5'9", Preston is very lanky. His sandy brown hair is long enough that the back comes down to the bottom of his neck, and is cut in a bowl shape. His eyes are green in color and are often somewhat bloodshot, be it from lack of sleep or something else, one can only guess. Preston's eyes are small and beady, and they appear to be sunk back in his head just from the size of them. In contrast, his nose sticks out somewhat. Preston is a very laid-back and easygoing individual, and it shows in his appearance, right down to the way he dresses. Preston's favorite outfit consists of a green t-shirt, a pair of jeans that had virtually been torn to shreads, and some tennis shoes that looked more than a little broken in.

Easygoing in every sense of the word, Preston seems as though he does not have a care in the world, and not surprisingly, he doesn't. Preston seems to be in an eternal state of mellow happiness, and it is because of this that many of his classmates claim he is a stoner... which is probably true, if the truth were told about it. Either way, Preston is a very happy fellow with a light-hearted disposition and a carefree attitude. Preston is quite outgoing, and he is quite the partier to boot. School, on the other hand, Preston seems to care little about.

Born and raised in the great state of New Jersey, Preston does not come from a particularly interesting home or have a particularly interesting past. His father owns a pizza joint, his mother is a nurse, and his older sister Natasha is a waitress at the local Hooters. Preston spends his days making pizzas at his father's business as a means of financial income. Other than that, Preston does not seem to do much. He lounges around most of the time, be it at school, at work, or at home. However, Preston is quite the partier, and many a rumor has gone around about his wild and crazy antics.

Always having been quite the show-off, his lastest caper, which the rumor is still floating around school about, happened at a fellow classmate's recent party. Rumor has it that Preston got trashed, stripped down completely, and proceeded to chase one of his friends around the neighborhood while naked. Preston fully admits to the rumor, and always seems to do so with a crazy grin on his face.

Just another guy, Preston loves life and enjoys every minute of it, almost to an ungodly extent. Being a leisurely kind of guy, Preston tends to be an "all play and no work" kind of person. In addition to his wild and crazy parties, Preston does have a passion. This may not come as much of a surprise to anyone, but Preston is an avid surfer. He learned how only a few months ago, and he still is not very good at it, but he practices whenever he gets the chance, and he loves it.

Clique: N/A

Relationships: N/A

Other: Being as laid back as he is, Preston should not (or at least, that's what he would like to think) have many enemies, which is always a plus. Also, if his mellow attitude often enables him to work his way out of tight spots without panicking or making other people too edgy. Preston has a tendency to take things too lightly, and this has gotten him in trouble many times in the past. He often fails to realize the seriousness of certain matters.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Name: "Hardcore" Hollie Dunaway
Gender: Female
Age: N/A
Grade: N/A
School: N/A
Extra Curricular Activities: Kickboxing

Description: Quite tall for a young lady, Hollie stands at about 5'10", causing her to tower over many of the girls in her class, and, for that matter, several of the boys. Her hair, a brilliant mixture between frizzy and curly, extends down to her shoulders and is always pulled up in a ponytail or a bun. A brunette by nature, Hollie's hair is always dyed blonde, and every great once in a while, you can see her brown roots. Hollie's eyes are dark brown in color, but none of her facial features really seem to stand out, as she never wears makeup. Her nose is ever so slightly crooked from a kickboxing accident that took place several years ago. In addition to being very tall, Hollie is also very toned from years of workouts. While Hollie is still pretty lean, she has muscle, and it shows. Her skin is a deep bronze in color and offsets her hair drastically. In terms of attire, Hollie is a very sporty girl. Her favorite outfit consists of a black tanktop along with black and grey windbreaker pants and a pair of black and grey Adidas shoes.

Despite being one of the best amateur kickboxers in all of New Jersey, Hollie has never seemed to let that fact go to her head. She is very quiet, but also very strong-willed. Being a bit hardheaded, she always gets her way, but only uses force when necessary. Not one to challenge authority, Hollie seems to command a sense of respect about herself. If you did not know the girl, the name should ring a bell anyway. Hollie's mild nature and spectacular performances have won over many a student, and she has quite the fanbase.

A native New Jersian by birth, Hollie was born to Jack and Justine Dunaway. A happy, healthy baby, Hollie was born in your standard middle-class family. She has one sibling, a brother two years her elder, and because she is the baby and only girl of the family, her parents were always just a bit overprotective, as it is in most of those situations. One night, when Hollie was still just a child, she and her mother were mugged while walking home from the grocery store.

It was around that time that Hollie decided she needed to learn how to defend herself and protect the people around her, in case such a circumstance should ever occur again. Then, Hollie Dunaway found her passion in life: kickboxing. She was a natural from the get-go, one of the best around. Decimating the competition, Hollie started earning herself quite the reputation around the tri-county area.

Not long after decimating most of the women's league, Hollie took a shot at the men's league. Not only could she keep up with the men, but in most cases, she came out on top. Soon, "Hardcore" Hollie had earned herself quite the name. Her skills only improved with age, and Hollie began strict diets and workouts to keep herself in tip-top shape. Before long, "Hardcore" Hollie Dunaway was a well-known name in her hometown and the surrounding areas.

Despite the fame, Hollie never seemed to have her head in the clouds. Always having been a very down-to-earth girl, she still has not changed much. However, Hollie does seem to command a certain respect from her peers, and for the most part, it is one that they gladly bestow upon her. After all, she's a regular celebrity.

Clique: N/A

Relationships: N/A

Other: Hollie's a kickboxer, and she's very good at what she does. She's massively in shape, a lot more so than the other kids. Not to mention, she has fighting experience and is quite powerful. Of course, being "famous" has its downfalls, one of which being that everyone knows her moves, her fighting style, etc.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Name: Joey Hannegan
Gender: Male
Age: N/A
Grade: N/A
School: N/A
Extra Curricular Activities: Baseball (first base), Soccer

Description: Joey is truly a unique individual, and he definitely stands out in a crowd. He has messily-fixed hair, a brilliant fire-red in color, that is usually half hidden underneath a baseball cap. He also has fire-red eyebrows and brown eyes. His face is dusted with freckles, and Joey almost always wears a content smile on his face. Although his red hair would generally signify a pastey complexion, this is not true about Joey. His skin is somewhat pale, but has somewhat of a tan to it (or maybe it's just all the freckles). Joey is a pretty casual dresser, he likes t-shirts and jean shorts during the summer. In the winter, he resorts to wearing windbreaker pants.

Joey Hannegan is quite the character. His outlandish looks make him stick out like a sore thumb, but his personality is what really attracts a crowd to him. Joey is a riot, he's always been hysterically funny. He has a knack for bringing a smile to anyone's face. In addition, Joey is one of the friendliest people you could ever hope to meet. Joey loves people, and doesn't care who they are, where they're from, or any of the other trivial facts high schoolers generally care about. Joey just likes to be surrounded by friends. He's constantly smiling, and can make almost anyone feel good about themselves. His positive attitude always draws a flock of people to him.

Joey is quite the popular guy. Liked by many, Joey has tons of friends, and wouldn't have it any other way. He is always extending a hand to newcomers, and takes it as his personal responsibility to help make new students attending his high school fit in. Joey is rather new to the school himself. He moved to town last summer, and quickly found his place on a baseball team. Joey is a pretty talented baseball player. He now plays first baseman on the baseball team.

Joey's home life is pretty normal. He lives in a relatively nice home with his father, Bryan, and his mother, Cynthia. Joey is an only child, and is his parents' pride and joy. His mother is one of those overly-enthusiastic "soccer mom" types, who travels to all of her son's games. She is notorious for screaming at the umpire, and though it embarrasses Joey a bit, he still loves her dearly. Joey works part-time as a sacker in a grocery store, and he enjoys his job.

Other than that, Joey Hannegan is your average, ordinary guy. He's very friendly, and is constantly looking to help people fit in. Joey's trademark grin is almost contagious, and those he's around can't help but smile along with him.

THIS CHARACTER HAS BEEN ADOPTED BY SLACKER

Name: Chadwick (Chad) Lobo Muteaneau
Gender: Male
Age: 14
Grade: Nine
School: Bathurst
Extra Curricular Activities: Choir, Shot Put Team
Description: Chad is a scraggily-looking fellow, who's main attribute is most definitely not his height. He stands five foot one and a half, and weighs about ninety pounds, something that he is often teased about in school. He has long brown hair that goes down to his shoulders and blue eyes. Chad seems like the 'kid brother' to many in the school, and most definitely looks the part. While Chad is looked upon as an innocent figure, underneath it all, he isn't. Blessed with a good head on his shoulders and a quick wit, Chad often verbally fights back against his tormenters, having earned the reputation of having a 'big mouth'. As well, Chad is somewhat of a hidden pervert, often hitting on girls (rather unsuccessfully), and just shrugging with his innocent-looking eyes. Some have observed that Chad could probably get away with murder - and in most cases, they're right. Chad has, in the past, has hid in a girls' locker room, spied on girls through his window at night, and is essentially getting hit hard by the hormones that puberty has given him. Unfortunately for Chad, he still hasn't gotten the height that will allow girls to take him seriously. Until then, he will always be the little brother, and it's something that he privately hates. When he is around girls, he gets quiet and tries his hardest to act mature, though sometimes it doesn't come out well for him.

Chad joined the choir upon his first year of high school in an effort to meet girls. This leads some of the boys to make fun of him and call him 'queer', but he doesn't care, because he just keeps telling himself that in all likelihood, they're just overcompensating for their own shortcomings. While Chad might seem confident, sometimes he needs to be taken seriously, and when it doesn't happen, he gets depressed and down on himself. He awaits the day when he can be taken seriously and not always looked at for the source of comic relief. He does, of course, take solace in the fact that high school is just beginning, and he's got plenty of time.

...or so he thinks.

Chadwick's cousin Andrew was killed during SOTF v1. He never really cared much for Andrew, but the shock was still there at knowing someone who died in the horrible event.

Clique: No discernable one as of yet.
Relationships: We'll fill this in later.
Other: Chad is boastful, but is also very smart and can out-argue most people. He has the bad habit of often not looking girls in the eye, but rather, in the chest. He's never been slapped for it, but his friends keep predicting that it'll eventually happen.

Name: Devontae "Dee" Jarrick
Gender: Male
Age: To be determined...
Grade: To be determined...
School: To be determined...
Extra Curricular Activities: Streetball, Capoeira

Description: Standing at 5'9" and weighing right around 175 pounds, Devontae isn't a very physically imposing presence upon first glance. He is of average height and weight, and isn't particularly well built. His hair comes to his shoulders in length and jet-black in color, and generally stays braided into small dreadlocks running the course of his scalp. Oftentimes, the dreadlocks are then pulled into a ponytail and sometimes pulled through a baseball cap to keep them out of his face. His facial features are pronounced; with thick black eyebrows lining his narrow eyes, a wide nose, and fairly large lips. Devontae adorns a small eyebrow ring on his left eyebrow, and he and the school officials have had many a run-in about Devontae leaving the stud in whilst on school grounds. Many a time, his face is adorned with light stubble from times he has neglected to shave.

Along with the eyebrow ring, Devontae bears a homemade tattoo on his left shoulder blade with the word "Jarrick", his last name, written in old English style on his arm. Devontae bears this proudly, as it is a symbol of his heritage. His style of dress is simple enough, and even in cold weather it is not unusual to see Devontae dressed in either a tanktop or wifebeater along with a baggy pair of cargo shorts in assorted colors.

Devontae, more commonly known as "Dee" around campus, was born in Jamaica and lived there throughout most of his adolescent life. At the age of seven, his entire family was uprooted from their home in Jamaica and moved to Brazil, as per the orders of the U.S. Department of State, under which his father worked. When Wyclef Jarrick landed his job with the U.S.'s travel department, he knew it involved moving from country to country. What he didn't know was how badly it would affect the homelife he desired to have with his wife Anna.

In Brazil, Dee discovered the fascinating art of capoeira, which involved music (his passion), dance, and martial arts in one explosive combination. Enthralled by the aspect of it, Dee began learning the art of capoeira, and it became his release as his parents traveled from place to place. He was uprooted from Brazil rather quickly and flown off to some other foreign nation, but his love of the newly acquired martial art never faded. Even now, in present day, capoeira is a large part of Dee's life, and he takes his training very seriously.

When Dee was 14, his parents made their first trip back to the United States since the time of his birth. He had been dragged around the world from the time he was a small child onward, he had been homeschooled by various tutors across the globe as he never stayed in one place long enough to really settle down and go to a normal school, and Dee had a bit of trouble first adapting to true American culture.

During their trip to the United States, his father announced some rather surprising news. Some time ago, he had applied for a different position within his department, and he had finally gotten it. Now, after all the traveling and the constant uprooting Dee had endured over the course of his short lifetime, they were finally going to settle down and for the first time ever, Dee would have a constant abode to call home.

His parents settled down in New Jersey, desiring a suburban life near the hustle and bustle of the city. It was in New Jersey that Dee first discovered the joys of streetball and became an avid player. While he found the sport fascinating and loved the grueling effort it involved, it still didn't hold a candle to capoeira. After a lot of searching, he found a place nearby that offered the martial art as a class and quickly enrolled himself.

Dee didn't seem to have a lot of trouble integrating himself into public schools. His laid-back, easy-going manner and respect for cultures other than his own put a lot of the other students at ease with him, and he made a vast amount of friends rather quickly. Dee's a calm and care-free individual who loves life a lot more than the average person and realizes how lucky he is compared to some of the other inhabitants of this world. While he clashes with school officials on occassion, Dee's a genuinely nice guy, and quite interesting to boot.

Clique: To be determined...

Relationships: To be determined...

Other: Having grown up in Jamaica, Dee speaks with a slight Jamaican accent, despite technically being an American citizen due to the circumstances surrounding his birth.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Name: Lauren Blade
Gender: Female
Age: To be determined...
Grade: To be determined... (at least 10th)
School: To be determined...
Extra Curricular Activities: Writes Poetry, Plays Guitar

Description: Lauren was once one of "them"... the idolized popular crowd. What prompted her sudden change from fitting in with New Jersey's atypical subculture into being the misfit she is now is unknown. Up until the end of her 9th grade year, Lauren acted like them, dressed like them, tried with all her might to be one of the popular kids. However, something drastic must've happened over the course of that summer. When Lauren returned to school for her 10th grade year, the beautiful auburn locks she once adorned had been dyed midnight black in color and accented with bright blue highlights. The shimmery, glittery makeup that she once adorned around her bright blue eyes and the rest of her features had been traded in for thick black eyeliner and dark makeup and lipstick. Her lightly tanned skin had somehow dissolved into a more pale, pasty looking color.

Even the so-called "preppy" clothes she had once worn seemed to have vanished into thin air and had been replaced with dark colors: blacks, leather, chains. The once beautiful and outgoing girl named Lauren Blade was no more, and in her place stood just another "wanna-be goth", as her former friends dubbed her. Not only did the popular group shun Lauren, but she also seemed to shun them, becoming somewhat of a loner during her tenth grade year.

During this period of time she took up odd habits such as learning to play the guitar and writing poetry. Indeed, it was as if Lauren jumped from one stereotype into the next, now becoming submersed in the entire "emo" subculture. Her friends were confused by the abrupt change, her parents and siblings left even more baffled, and Lauren never talked about what prompted her change. Speculation once had it that she did it to prove a point: that the "popular" crowd didn't accept people for themselves, but rather accepted people only for what they would make themselves into. Whether or not that was Lauren's true motive for her change goes unknown to anyone except Lauren.

Other rumors have since circulated, with such stories as "She did it because of a guy," and "She got pregnant and lost the baby, then got really depressed," rotating maliciously around school. Through it all, Lauren simply shrugged her shoulders, neither admitting to nor denying any of the rumors. Instead, she became rather introverted, keeping to herself and eliminating the outgoing personality she once had. Her parents insisted upon sending her to a psychiatrist, which caused Lauren to question them. She saw nothing wrong with her change of self or her new behavioral patterns, but her parents seemed almost outraged by it.

Through all the nasty rumors, spiteful remarks, and disapproval from her parents, Lauren continued on with this new behavior, causing even more speculation on her part. It was almost unheard of, one of the popular girls turning into one of the so-called school "freaks". The controversy dwindled down a bit as the year progressed, but Lauren never reverted back into that popular girl that she once was, and surprisingly enough, she seemed rather happy with her new life.

Clique: To be determined...

Relationships: To be determined...

Other: If anyone choosed to adopt Lauren, they're more than welcome to add to or take away from the biography at their disgression.

ADOPTED

Name: Austin Patrick Spencer
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Grade: Grade 11; Mrs. Laney's Homeroom 228
School: Hobbsborough
Extra Curricular Activities: Varsity Boys Soccer, Varsity Boys Baseball
Description: Austin is quite easy on the eyes, and he knows it. The epitome of tall, dark and handsome, Austin stand at just under 6’1, with broad shoulders and a trim, muscular physique obtained from spending many hours at both high school soccer and baseball practices. He is also devoted to spending time pumping iron and exercising at the gym. His toned body makes the girls fawn over him like a teen idol. His shortly cropped dark brown hair is slightly wavy; his eyes are a dark and piercing brown, almost black and always make him appear like he’s hiding something inside. His skin is a warm tan, and he possesses an equally Italian and Greek look inherited from his mother.

Personality wise Austin is known to be a player. Having dated many of Hobbsborough’s hottest young ladies, Austin has a history of estranging himself from each of his many girlfriends of the past. Many believe Austin is simply a womanizing prick, or perhaps even a misogynist; no one expects the truth. Austin is gay. Coming from a large Catholic family he’s learned to hate himself for it, believing partly that he needs to repress his natural feeling and at the same time finding himself extremely attracted to one of his schoolmates. Austin has been in love with Taylor Brennan since perhaps the first moment he saw the current sophomore. Although they have had little interaction, Austin finds himself thinking about Taylor all the time, especially in the late hours of the night as he struggles to fall asleep. Taylor is oblivious to this obsession, and views Austin as an egotistical jerk. Austin is perhaps one of the few people Taylor dislikes, but this is because Taylor, like the rest of Hobbsborough many students doesn’t know the real Austin Spencer. Beneath the reputation he has built for himself as a bullheaded jock with nothing more on his mind than tits, pussy and sports, lies a chivalrous and romantic soul that is the real Austin.

Austin still has major issues with his sexuality and exerts an attitude of general homophobia and bigotry. Having virtually no one to talk to about his sexuality has left him feeling almost isolated and alone. To the outer world however, he exerts an image of confidence and egotism, having found his natural niche in the area of organized sports from a very early age. Having been introduced to such activities as little league and children’s soccer at the YMCA before he even started school Austin seemed bound from an early age to be destined to play Varsity sports later in life. Following in the footsteps of his two older brothers and older sister, all three of whom were great Athlete’s back in the age of St. Andrew's Parochial School, (prior to the merger) Austin has spent many hours training to be the best at the mercy of his father, Jack Spencer, a former NFL linebacker and current conservative Republican Senator. A man who demand who demands nothing shy of perfection from all five of his children, Jack is notorious for his radical views on topics such as illegal immigration , abortion, and homosexuality. Adamant about his claims that he would disown any one of his children for such blasphemy as homosexuality as well as a received abortion in the case of his daughters, Jack sees the world as black and white, right and wrong.

Following his father into politics, Jack Spencer II, Austin’s eldest brother and closest sibling was verbally disowned from the family. This occurred when Jack Sr. became aware of his oldest son’s efforts lobbying in Congress for “blasphemous” policies such as free healthcare and college, and minority rights. This included the right for gays to marry in the state of New Jersey. Austin didn’t talk to Jack Junior for the next month, their father forbidding contact. Guiltily Austin knew that his brother’s efforts had been, in at least part, for him, Jack Junior knowing from early on, by some spark of brother’s intuition, that Austin was different. Jack was aware perhaps of Austin’s sexuality perhaps before even Austin himself, no sorry feat, considering Austin’s rough and masculine exterior. Six weeks later, in the fall of Austin’s junior year, Jack Junior and a group of fellow lobbyers were killed in a terrorist bombing conducted by radical religious fundamentalists. The death nearly pushed Austin over the edge, denial setting in. Anger came and went, but acceptance of his brother’s untimely demise never did. Internally Austin vowed to somehow avenge his brother’s death. Unbeknownst to Austin, he and his classmates themselves would become the victims of another terrorist plot and Austin’s chance for avengement would come sooner than expected.

Clique: The Jocks
Relationships: Taylor Brennan- Austin’s love for the oblivious sophomore borders on mild obsession. Although some Psychologists might tend to classify seemingly unreciprocated love as an unhealthy fixation with serious means to spiral out of control, this affection is innocent in reality and founded deeply in Austin’s well judged notions of the kind of person Taylor Brennan really is. Austin’s love for Taylor extends to the point of self sacrifice, and in a sick way, one might call their soon to be doomed situation in the upcoming Battle Royale romantic.

Nich Finlayson- classmate.

Sarah Dao- classmate.

Kojiro Isuka- classmate.

Jamie Lesher- classmate.

Johnathon Daniels- classmate.

Rupert Stockton- classmate.

Vincent Ryans- classmate.

Oliver Dodd- classmate.

Andrew Panterescu- classmate.

Other: Austin has a scar behind his left ear from being shot by his second eldest brother, Nate, with a pellet gun.

Austin’s mother’s name is Margaret, and his sister’s names are Katie and Adrienne.

Austin has broken the hearts of at least a dozen of Hobbsborough’s current female populace.

THIS CHARACTER HAS BEEN ADOPTED

Name: Colton DeMarcos Valero
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Grade: Junior (11th)
School: Franklyn Senior School
Extra Curricular Activities: Varsity Baseball

Description: Tall and lean, standing at right under 6'0" and of average weight, Colton’s athletic physique didn’t come easily. In fact, Colton has been working on perfecting and sculpting his body ever since the summer before freshman year. Before then, he was skinny as a rail and had no figure to speak of, and even less muscle. He was lanky by default, and the growth spurt that befell him earlier than many of his peers only added to his insecurity about his lack of weight. It was that summer that Colton started attending the gym, and pumping iron became a daily event for him. Slowly but surely, Colton gradually began to gain the muscle mass he always desired. The gain in muscle was definitely noticed, not only by his peers but by his teachers and coaches as well, and Colton, desiring more of the positive attention he was receiving from his bulk-up, continued his gym visits until they were almost a religious practice. Now, with his current schedule consisting mostly of homework and baseball games, Colton has cut back to going only three times a week, but refuses to miss those three days for anything.

Overall, Colton’s a good-looking guy. He’s cute, in the high school sense, of course. His skin is a deep brown in color – a result of the mixture of American Indian and Puerto Rican heritage he was born into. His hair is raven black in color and is always worn in semi-long spikes to show off the blondish-white tips. Although his father disapproves of the highlighting job that was done on Colt’s hair and says it looks tacky, his mother thinks he looks absolutely adorable and thus continues to let him highlight his hair. His eyes are a deep chocolatey brown in color and are sharp and well-defined, giving him an overall fierce and intelligent gaze. In addition, his eyebrows are so perfectly groomed that they could only have been done by wax, and although he’d never admit it to his schoolmates, he does in fact allow his mom to wax his eyebrows as a means of keeping that pesky unibrow that’s otherwise prone to form away.

The rest of Colt’s face is well-defined and pronounced, and his features seem to be just the perfect size – his nose and lips aren’t too big nor too small, and his chin juts out just enough to be pronounced without being distracting. Colt’s prone to smiling a lot, as he’s quite a happy-go-lucky guy, and the gleam of metal braces, the bands generally done in Franklyn Senior’s school colors to show school spirit, always seem to shine through. His teeth are obviously in the process of being straightened, but he’s come a long, long way from the snaggle-toothed, scrawny adolescent he once was. In fact, the dentist recently told him he’d have those pesky braces off in time for Senior pictures next year! Colton’s main physical flaw would easily be the light acne-scarring across his cheeks from a series of breakouts he often undergoes when he’s stressed out or upset – generally around exam time.

Other than the light acne-scarring on his face and the small bumps he sometimes acquires on his arms (you can’t really see them and the dermatologist told him it had something to do with him not drinking enough water), Colton’s figure is sculpted and, in his humble opinion, is near perfection. Over the years, he’s become quite a bit conceited about his physique, but as he always states when confronted about his egotistic view, he’s earned the right to be a bit conceited, as he worked hard to become the impressive specimen that he is today.

Needless to say, Colton's a bit of an egotist when it comes to his looks, even if he is overly sensitive about his acne and braces. A lot of this stems from his mother and her constant reassurance of what a good boy he is and how handsome he's become. One can easily tell that Colton is quite the mama's boy, so to speak, and he and his mother share a special bond that he's never quite seemed to be able to create with his father. His father is more prone to favoring the other Valero child, Colton's twin brother Christian, whose quite the little football star that Shannon Valero wanted Colton to be.

Not that Colton cares. He and Christian have grown up sharing a friendly rivalry, with Christian always seemingly going out of his way to impress his father -- football, soccer, streetrods -- Christian always liked what Shannon took to. Colton, on the other hand, was more interested in slower, more relaxed sports. Baseball was his hobby throughout childhood, with mom often coming out to cheer little Colton on at his t-ball games while dad was off yelling at Christian's football coaches. Even now, things aren't much different for Colton and Christian. Thankfully for both brothers, the twins defined themselves as people at quite an early age, so they never truly underwent the seperation and individualization issues that most twins are prone to.

Colton's quite devoted to baseball, as one might have guessed. This often results in sub-par or simply satisfactory grades in his classes, and although Colton's quite content with the mostly "C" grades he receives, most of his classmates, and several of his teachers don't know the real reason behind Colton's sub-standard grades. The truth is Colton's dyslexic. Of course, it doesn't affect the street-smarts, sleek attitude, and sheer confidence that he is owner of, but it does affect his ability to read and comprehend his school work. Colton's embarrassed by the fact that he's dyslexic, and growing up, he often thought that he was simply stupid and couldn't comprehend things he should be able to.

Although he now understands the undesireable trait that he has apparently inherited from his father, he's still embarrassed about it, and wouldn't ever admit to any of his friends or even his closest confidantes that he sometimes mixes up the words in front of him. As he puts it, it's embarrassing for him to talk about. When you tell people you're dyslexic, most of them jump to the conclusion that you're ignorant and have trouble reading, which is certainly not the case. Indeed, Colton holds a fierce intelligence within him -- most of it simply being street smarts instead of book smarts. Who needs book smarts when you get out of college, anyway?

Colton shares a spot on the baseball team with fellow classmates such as Ricky Callahan, Eric Silvstedt, Gregg Archer, and Andy Edwards. The boys are all quite close, and the clique of jocks they seem to have formed easily sits atop the proverbial totem pole at Franklyn Senior. Colton wouldn't have it any other way. His boyishly good looks, charming personality, and social butterfly status make him a desirable friend to have and an enemy to avoid. He's laid-back and easygoing in nature, so he rarely comes off as pompous and overbearing unless you really get him talking about himself -- so many of the Franklyn Senior girls have found themselves crushing on Colton.

Colton finds himself often leading girls on and sometimes using them, but there's no harm in that, right? Colton takes life as it comes, but simply put, if it's put in front of him, he'll gladly take it. This seems to be his attitude toward most things in general, and he's earned himself a couple of quite hostile ex-girlfriends over this minute little detail of his life. What Colton fails to realize is that that minute little detail might send him on quite a rough ride very, very soon.

Clique: Baseball Boys, Jocks

Relationships: To be determined...

Other: Colton's "use 'em and lose 'em" attitude has earned him quite a few spiteful girlfriends and, for that matter, quite a few angry older brothers. He's managed to smooth talk his way out of a lot of potentially ugly situations, but only time will tell how long his luck holds out.

THIS CHARACTER HAS BEEN ADOPTED

Actually, I'm rather attached to Colt, I think I'm gonna keep him. I'll post more realisticly-real high school students as I get ideas. ;)

Name: Lisa Woodward
Gender: Female
Age: To Be Determined
Grade: To Be Determined
School: To Be Determined
Extra Curricular Activities: To Be Determined

Description: Standing at 5'3" and weighing in at a stunning 98 pounds, Lisa is skinny as a rail in every way possible. She boasts a size 1 pant-size and is very proud of the fact, often gloating over her friends when they’re shopping about her super-svelte figure. Although she’d never admit it, however, Lisa is quite embarrassed about the A-cup chest she is bearer of, and stuffing her bra with socks or toilet paper or buying bras with lots of extra foam has become a religious practice for her. In fact, she’s been doing it since sixth grade, when all of her friends started blossoming into young women and Lisa was left in the dust. Her hair, originally a dark chocolate in color that Lisa absolutely abhors, has long since been traded in for honey blonde, and although Lisa swears she’s a natural blonde, you can often see the dark roots underneath her pale hair. Her hair is shoulder-length and is often curled out into buoyant rings at the end. In addition, Lisa plucks her dark brown eyebrows until they’re almost pencil thin so that the dark brown color isn’t noticeable.

Lisa’s skin is a medium tan in color and it somewhat clashes with her bright-blonde hair. Her eyes are olive green in color, but look brown for a distance. This is a pet peeve of Lisa’s, and she feels the need to clarify to anyone and everyone who makes the mistake that her eyes are indeed green. Of her facial features, Lisa is more insecure with her nose. It is not abnormally large or small and doesn’t really stand out, but there’s a small mole located on the tip of it that drives Lisa to the point of insanity. It’s barely even noticeable, but she often feels like the people talking to her are staring at that small speck on the tip of her nose. Underneath Lisa’s eyes is a dusting of light freckles, which she also can’t stand and often attempts to cover up with makeup. Her lips are small and narrow and are often painted pink in color. Lisa abhors her cleft chin and rarely makes facial expressions which seem to make it more noticeable.

Lisa Woodward is a quite easy individual to describe. Every school across the United States of America has them – the populars. A group of guys and gals who are the better-than-thou of the school population, determine the cool kids from the losers, and reign over the high-school with a merciless vengeance. Lisa... is not one of those people. Rather, Lisa is the flaky, bubble-headed girl who maliciously rides the coattails of those people. Lisa borders on popular, although her popularity is mostly in her mind. The “common folk” of the school group her in with the popular bunch, while in all honesty, most of the so-called popular students see her as a flake and a nuisance. Lisa, meanwhile, lives in blissful ignorance to the fact that just about nobody can stand her ditzy behavior and that she’s only tolerated because most people feel sorry for her.

Lisa’s home life is absolutely normal. Her parents are still together, which is almost a rarity in today’s society – her dad is a certified public accountant and her mother is employed as a teller at the local Regions Bank. She’s not on particularly good terms with her parents, nor is she on bad terms with them. She’s the older of two siblings, and all of the Woodward family’s attention is generally fixated on their attention-deficit son Jake. Lisa never seems to mind, as she's generally never home, and is instead attached to the coattails of her proclaimed "friends". Of course, Lisa doesn't realize that as soon as she leaves, her companions often return to their talks of what a ditz she is and how much they all hate her. She's blissfully ignorant to the fact, and knowing that her friends don't like her would shatter the blonde's very existence as we know it.

School-life isn't much different from her regular life. Lisa spends very little time on school work, and as such, her grades are far from being perfect. She's not particularly book-smart and often has trouble with homework that should be quite easy for her. It could be that she puts no effort into studying or even paying attention in class -- often boredly scrawling out notes to her best friends while the teacher is lecturing instead of paying attention -- or it could be that Lisa simply isn't all that intelligent. Whatever the reasoning behind her bad grades, the fact remains, she's managed to somehow pass her classes up until this point in high school. Lisa lives out her days almost monotonously, never thinking of the future, never thinking of an existence outside of high school and outside of her clique. If only she knew how important this time in her life would be...

Clique: To Be Determined

Relationships: To Be Determined

Other: Although many of the "popular" girls she hangs around with openly express their annoyance with her, Lisa never seems to catch on to the fact that most of them don't like her and only tolerate her out of the glimmer of kindness within them. She can't even fathom an existence outside of the life she leads now. Lisa thinks only in the present and never of the future or what may come. The events that are soon to occur in her life are bound to throw this one for a loop and send the blissful and ignorant existence she leads plummeting to the ground.

Name: Andrew "Andy" Corinthian Edwards
Gender: Male
Age: 17-18 (changeable at handler's disgression)
Grade: Junior (11th)
School: Franklyn Senior School
Extra Curricular Activities: Varsity Baseball

Description: Standing at approximately 6'1 1/2" and with what could best be described as an athletic physique, Andy doesn't drastically stand out amongst his fellow classmates. His sandy blonde hair is messily gelled and stands up at various angles over the course of his head, but in a way that suits him well. Andy's eyes are a fierce dark blue in color and convey the deep intelligence and sharp wit lurking behind them. His eyebrows, also a sandy blonde in color, are nicely shaped, and Andy adorns an eyebrow ring in his left 'brow. He's been reduced to wearing a colorless stud on campus and has been forced to remove it during baseball practice and games. A light dusting of freckles runs underneath his eyes and across the bridge of his nose, adding a hint of boyishness to Andy's otherwise mature facial features. His nose, the most dominant feature on Andy's face, is long and narrow. His lips are narrow yet full, and his chin is square in shape and well-defined. His teeth are white in color and straight, although Andy is still forced into wearing a retainer, though often neglects to, or conveniently forgets to put it in. Andy has a baby face by default and is virtually incapable of growing facial hair.

Andrew was born to Robert and Tara Edwards in bustling New York City. Andrew, nicknamed Andy from birth onward, lived a carefree and happy life throughout his childhood. Eventually, however, the constantly rising crime rate of the Big Apple got underneath the skin of the Edward family, and they traded in their spacious apartment for an even more spacious home in beautiful suburbia. Soon after, Mr. Edwards got that promotion he'd been seeking for years and became CEO of the computer-programming company he worked for. Outwardly, things were perfect. Since their move from New York to the suburbs of New Jersey, however, nothing had been the same.

When Andy was eleven, his parents finally decided that the facade of a happy coexistence they had been putting on for years had lasted long enough and the couple filed for divorce. Dad got the house; mom got half of his belongings and skipped the country soon after, leaving Andy in the care of his father. Soon after the former Mrs. Edwards abandoned her family to pursue a new life elsewhere, Mr. Edwards rekindled his love affair with the fairer sex. He had been quite a playboy in his youth and quickly rediscovered his mastery over the ladies.

The fact of the matter was this -- Robert Edwards loved women. He would often bring them back to the household to entertain them, and this action would ignite young Andy's infatuation with the opposite sex. Back then, Andy was too young and naive to realize what his father's playboy nature entailed to its fullest extent. All Andy really understood was that gone were the days of the "perfect family" and white picket fences -- mom had been replaced by all these different pretty ladies that Dad brought home on a regular basis. Andy liked the ladies, they were all nice and told him how cute he was and how he was the spitting image of his father. Little did any of them know how right they'd wind up being.

As Andy became older, he began attempting to emulate his father's actions toward the opposite sex, and for the most part, Andy succeeded. He blossomed into a handsome young man from a young age onward, learning the tricks of the trade from his father. He had his first kiss at age twelve, lost his virginity at age fourteen, and continued to relentlessly play the girls in his school with no sympathy or compassion toward any of them. Much like his father, Andy began to objectify women, and didn't really see them as people but more as playthings created for his amusement.

Andy's behavior is learned from his father and because of the fact that his parents divorced so early in his life and because of the fact that he grew up without any constant woman influence upon him, he was never truly thought to think in any way that didn't mirror his father's own visions of the opposite sex. While Andy does display some misogynistic tendencies, he's far from being a woman hater. Andy adores women -- he finds them to be beautiful, delicate creatures -- the problem is, Andy doesn't really see them as people, but merely as objects. His chauvanistic attitude has gotten him into a couple of uncomfortable situations in the past, but his behavior has been left unchanged.

During his sophomore year of high school, something happened that put Andy Edwards on the verge of spiraling into a pit of depression. His at-the-time girlfriend showed up on the front door of his house one night to tell Andy that she was pregnant and that he was the baby's father. Of course, given the circumstances surrounding their relationship, it was entirely possible that Andy was indeed the father of her baby. However, just like any young adult in his position, Andy did the only thing he could do -- called her a liar, a slut, and every other name in the book before dumping her and forcing her to fend for herself.

When the baby was born, a baby girl of mixed race, it became completely apparent that indeed, Andy had been right. His girlfriend had cheated on him, and had gotten pregnant as a result by one of the African-American students in the class. Of course, the girl denied ever cheating on him and maintained that the baby was his. Common sense told everyone otherwise though. Two caucasian kids generally don't produce a child of mixed descent. Andy pushed the girl away and pushed the incident out of his life, and soon, things returned to normal. This far into his Junior year of high school, the damaged reputation that she had inflicted upon him by telling everyone that he had gotten her pregnant and dumped her has all but faded away, with the majority of the school inevitably finding out the truth.

Now, it's almost become a pick-up line for some of the more naive girls in the class. After all, they should feel sorry for him, right? This crazy psycho girl cheated on him, got herself pregnant by some other guy, then attempted to trap Andy. It broke his heart when he found out that the baby wasn't his, or so he tells them. The truth was that inwardly, he was jumping with glee. The last thing a guy like Andy Edwards wanted was to be tied down to one girl and stranded in a committed relationship for the rest of his life on account of a child. Not that he would've done anything of the sort anyway. His parents didn't stay together and he turned out just fine, right?

Andy's father being the bigwig that he is, he's very rarely home. The way he figures it, Andy's a big boy now and is more than capable of taking care of himself. Therefore, Andy is oftentimes stranded in the sprawling Edwards household by himself, and it's become quite the party place around town. Andy's known for being a crazy guy, and has all sorts of connections around town to hook him up with alcohol, kegs, and anything else you could imagine. Thus, a lot of Andy's popularity was acquired through the schoolwide parties he throws on a regular basis at his house. Even faces from other high schools are seen regularly around the Edwards household.

Clique: Presumably Franklyn's Baseball Boys

Relationships: Ricky Callahan: Teammate

Eric Silvstedt: Teammate

Gregg Archer: Teammate

Colt Valero: Teammate

Other: Andy feels no remorse for the oftentimes cold and heartless acts he exposes many of his female companions to. He still doesn't really grasp the fact that women are human beings and not toys, so he isn't the type of guy to feel sorry for sleeping with a girl and then never talking to her again. In fact, he does such things on a regular basis.
