A brown and cream racoon stood on the corner of a dark street in Station Square. He gazed from side to side every once in a while but other than that he kept his head down. He was dressed in a black hoodie and red bandanas around his neck and head, he had black pants on that were filled with stuff. He had a gun in his front pocket.
The third time he looked up he saw someone, and because of his glowing yellow eyes, they saw him too.
"Good to see you mate." He said stepping to the other shadowy figure.
"And you, do ya got the Crack?" Said the shadowy figure in a hurried voice.
"Sure do, and my money?"
"Yes. Quick, I got a job tonite.."
"Here it is" The racoon reached into one of his stuffed pockets and held a bag of white powder up for the other to see.
"What was the offer, a hundred?"
"Two."
"Fine"
"Now take it and scatter before the cops show."
"Ok, see ya Billie!"
"And you Kidd" The figure called Kidd dissapeared yet again and Billie "Bandit" heard a car screetch away. Bandit picked up a phone. "Jack? Yeah, he said hes got a 'job' tonite and based on my watching earlier, it looks like its somewhere downtown. He'll be recruiting." He paused listening to Jack's answer. "Okay bud, I'll see you there. Your friends'll meet us there?" He paused, "Ok, good theyre good fighters, bye."

The guy called Jack holding the phone closed it and stuck it in thepocket of his cargo pants. "Got myself a job" He stood up and crossed the room and out the front door where he dissapeared in blue and white lights.

[Pepper]

Pepper was walking around the city dressed in baggy torn jeans with decorated patches on them, a back shirt with silver letters that said "I'm With the Band" and a black and white camo overshirt on. She had her head down singing Savin' Me. "Show me what its like, to be the last one standin', teach me wrong from right, and I'll show you what I can be. Say it for me say it to me, and I'll leave this life behind me, say it if its worth savin me.." she looked around for any activity. "So boring lately.." she said. "Wonder where Jack is.."

[Blackjack]

Jack stood on the cornerand leaned out, grabbed Pepper around the neck and covered her mouth.
"Jack! What the hell!" Pepper said when he let go.
"I need you." He breathed and grabbed her arm, and orbed her away.
They landed in a dark alley.
"Shhhh" Jack said.

[Pepper]

"What the hell?" Pepper repeated looking around. "What are you doing Jack?!"

[Blackjack]

"Devlin." He hissed looking past the dumpsters. A man stepped out from behind there wearing a trench coat. Another man came out, the same one that met Bandit, he shook hands with thenchy man and they began to whipser.
Then Bandit appeared behind Jack. He stood back and took the gun out. "I'll cover you, I cant come out or my cover'll be blown."
"Sure" Jack said coming out. Pepper stood there confuzzled.
The Trenchy man turned around quickly and received and pulled out a gun as Jack advanced on him. Kidd cursed and vanished in black and purple lights.
Jack put his hands in front of him and flexed his fingers creating a small explosion on the man's shoulder. A fireball appeared in his hand and he threw it at Jack sending him flying into the dumpster, but Jack jumped up quickly and threw a vile at the man who burst into flames screaming and dissapeared.

[Pepper]

"What...the hell..." Pepper said, more as a statement then a question. "What was that!?" she asked.
"Yeah what was that!?" another voice came from Pepper's jacket pocket causing everyone to jump up. Pepper looked down to see a small head pop out. "Ah, sorry Jade. I forgot you were sleeping in there."
"No problem," he said with a tired blink. "I woke up when Jack grabbed you and orbed away. That was some ride. Now what was that?"
"I have no idea," Pepper said, looking to Jack. "Would you care to explain? And why'd you bring us into it?"
"Just in case. I dont want you alone out on the streets with this going on." Jack said looking from side to side.
"Jack, I've lived on these streets at a kid, this is my home, I know them like the back of my hand. Sure I've had my share of muggings," Pepper said looking at Bandit. "But its nothing I cant handel." she looked at Jack's worried face and asked in a quiet tone "What exactly is going on?"
"Devlin." Jack repeated, "Its not safe here, back to my house"
"But, wait a sec-" Before she could finish Jack grabbed her arm and orbed away.

[Blackjack]

They arrived in his living room. "Devlin, hes building an army, of the tough street guys and demons and darklighters."
"What?!" Pepper said, "When did you hear about this?"
"A week ago." Bandit said when he appeared.
"And WHY didnt you tell me then?" Pepper asked apparently pissed off at being left out of this.
"I didnt want you into it, then I realized that you live on the streets."
"I am undercover, selling him my stuff, a great buisness deal and it helps Jack!" Bandit said smiling.
"What stuff?" Pepper asked.
"Drugs."

[Pepper]

"You asshole," Pepper said, also pissed at the drugs. "How could you not tell me?! Dammit Jack! How long did it take you to figure out I live out there! I could've been watched by them!" Pepper froze "I could've been watched by them...they could've followed me everywhere for all I know," Pepper thought about everywhere she's been in the last week. "All my secret places that I slept in to be safe...what if they know about them? Dammit!"
"Pepper calm down," Jack said.
"Do NOT tell me to calm down Jack! I wouldn't be excited If I knew about this in the first place!"
"Its none of your business anyway!" Bandit chimed in.
"When it concerns a insane physco freak that wants me and my friends dead, Yeah, I think it is!"
"Woah Pepper," Jade said in a soothing voice. "He just wanted to protect you."
Pepper started to speak then stopped. "Fine, whatever....just tell me all you know."

[Blackjack]

"I'm worried Dev might try and recruit Spirit, she has some demon in her. Remember what he did to me?" Jack said thinking about him trying to murder Pepper and Spirit.
"Yes." Pepper said sighing.
"Hes going after homeless guys. Kidd sells them things so they trust him and they pay him back by joining him."
"Thats where I come in. I make money by selling him the drugs and I gain trust." Bandit said with a smirk.
"Is that all?" Pepper snarled.
"Yeah, for now, I'm trying to finish off everyone he tries to recruit, the only problem is that I dont always catch them. Bandit said-"
"-hes got an army of about 40 right now" Bandit interrupted.

[Pepper]

"Great.." Pepper said with an annoyed sigh. "40, thats quite a number for 3 people!"
"What about me?" Jade asked.
"Okay three and a half.."
"Thats better. But don't you think Spirit will help?"
"I haven't seen Spirit in the longest time, So I have no idea."
"Ah.." Jade said with a sigh. "What about everyone else?"
"Havent seen them eathier....So guys," Pepper looked at Jack and Bandit. "Whats your idea for this new threat?"

[Blackjack]

"I personally think we're on our own here." Jack said sighing. "Look its late, lets head to bed and we'll begin sorting things out in the morning."
"Have fun." Bandit said with a weak smile and dissapeared.
"Going to sell more stuff..." Jack sighed.

[Spirit]

Spirit walked through the dark street, she yawned and rubbed her head.
"Ive been sick for the longest time..." she yawned and sighed "even if it is late its nice to get some fresh air"
She leaned against a lamp post, she had on black trousers and a long trench with fighting fingerless gloves and a white shirt that had to demon wings and the words 'Demon by Blood' she had 2 celtic necklaces of Spirit and Courage and had her 2 amulets on too. she had lots of bangles and wrist bands on her right arm and her hair was pulled up in by a spiked band. She yawned once more and clicked her fingers making a small flame in the darkness. She looked up at the sky and saw the moon shine down.
"Peaceful" Spirit said smiling, she put her head down and closed her eyes oblivious to whats around her.

[Pepper]

"Dammit, why's Spirit gotta be a demon!?" Pepper said kicking the sofa.
"Come on, lets go to bed."
"I'm not tired," Pepper said heading towards the door.
"Pepper-"
"I'm going out to find more places to sleep Jack." she opend the door, stepped out and slamed it.
"That was a little harsh.." Jade said.
"Sorry but I'm annoyed. I can't sleep anywhere anymore! They probably know about all my spots."
"How about with a friend?"
"I don't impose like that."
"Loner."
"Yeah, I guess I am. For years I've been, its hard to break the habit."
"I AM BREAKING, THE HABIT, TODAY! YOU KNOW YOU DID IT I'M GONE!"
"......y'know..that fits.....come on lets go to the city. We shouldn't be wandering around the woods."

[Blackjack]

"Girls..." Jack sighed and went upstairs. "It'll be her fault if she gets attacked..." He yawned and went to bed.

The dark figure called Kidd walked down the road, close to where Spirit was. He pulled out an organizer and tapped the screen a couple times. It brought up a picture of Spirit and her stats. "Perfect." He said as he thrust it back into his pocket. He krept up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder.

[Spirit]

Spirit opened her eyes quickly when she felt something tap her shoulder and spun around quickly to find someone looking at her.
"what do you want?" She said urgently with her arms folded, she put her foot back to balence on the ground.
