Appearance: Monica is not tall by far, but she does not mind that, well figured and petite. With brown almond shaped eyes and long thick lush jet black hair, Monica is attractive by appearance. With thick eye lashes and an elegant framed face. She comes off much younger by her looks, until she acts and speaks does her age come out. Her hair though thick is straight and curls inward towards the tips, falling at a few inches below her shoulders. Skin a soft tan it goes well against her eyes and hair.

Personality: Mature, through what she had to deal with Monica uses this when she knows it is needed. Creative and quick, it does not take her long to figure something out. Alert due to personal complications and raising a younger sibling. Monica is a sociable woman, loving to interact with others, a smile she would rather see then a frown. Energetic it seems it would take a lot to cool her down. Even tempered and patient, Monica never thought she had all of this but she was told she did, Monica found a natural talent, she was able to ready body languages very well, which helped her most of the time when dealing with people or what to say. Hidden behind this strong personality, and warm woman, Monica has a silent and solitary side, which she uses much when she is hurt, angered, or lost in thought. When she is left to think she questions everything and her fragil self esteem begins to make her doubt a lot. It is time likes this that she staggers to be creative or social. Avoiding others till she collects herself. Strong of mind and body, but weak of soul and feelings.

When Monica makes friends she cares about she gives them all her love and trust, doing anything or everything she can to help them along. Insanely loyal, it takes a good stab for her to finally come to terms and break away from someone. And when that happens she will never trust that person again. Monica does have a dark side, her anger when brought out is quick, and her tongue quicker. She will if push, hold a vendetta like no other. To the point that when it should be let go, she still holds on to it. Monica also has a downfall that she even recognizes. curiousity. Her curiousity is her main and biggest downfall. If anything new or exciting, even interesting appears, her curiousity perks up, and she will try every way to appease it. A complicated girl but one that enjoys life and everything it gives her, understanding that everything is a life experience. And should be learned from.

History: Through her rough life of a Father who was pushed away by her Mother and helping raise a younger sister. Monica had matured more Turns then she should have. Creative, Monica was able to leave her mentaly abusive life that her Mother created to go to the Harper Hall at 14 Turns. She could not play or create an instrument if her life depended on it. She was decent, but not amazing, on creating songs. But it was her memory,handwriting, and voice that won her over on the Harpers good side. Working her way in the Hall she was able to put a good name for herself. She was good with all the new comers, well mannered with the older apprentics, as well as respectful to the Masters and Elders. Learning how to cook from the Hall's Master cook, she could whip up large amounts of food with very little amount. And enjoying that task she could be found there when she was not in class, or doing chores. Due to this life she regretted leaving her younger Sister to the life her Mother may put upon her. But after two Turns the Master introduced her to a newcomer that ended up being her Sister, Monica found that her Sister was natural in all areas of music. But her memory and handwriting was second best ot her Sister. Monica knew that her Sister would be the next Master Harper, while she herself hoped to get Master Singer. On her final Turn as an apprentic Monica became Journayman, and on the night of her walk of the tables her Sister wanted to gift her with a flitt egg. But as she was coming down from the rooms the apprentic shared the flitt hatched and bonded with her. Monica was proud and happy for her sister who bonded with a Queen of all colors.

"I'll get another chance some day. She was ment for you." She said as she was sent on her way to any Holds that may need her. Only being 17 Turns Monica lived the life of a Journeyman till on her 20th Turn she was sent to Crescent to record the Hatchings that the Queens of the Weyr created. Amazed by the new colors, Monica made it a point to record who Impressed who and what color and name of the Dragons. This came to help out the new Weyrwoman who was very busy to record such things. Also recording how the hatchings went, how the flights went, and how the new Weyrleaders lead, Monica recorded everything she thought the Harper Hall would want to know. Sending all her notes by Runner to the Hall. She knew that the Ebony Queen would probably be the first of many to have a song made. But that wasn't fair to the others, making a note, Monica also mentioned many other names, such as the older Bronzerider who Lead the Weyr when the Queens were growing. And the story of the late Weyrleaders themselves. Monica's newest report involved the mating of Golden Kellenth with Blue Zelanth, and the eggs laid. Waiting until the end of the hatching to see what came from the eggs. And her efforts were rewarded as she got to witness the birth of a Blue sized Queen, a Queen from a Gold and Blue pairing!

While watching, Monica was distracted on noting it all down that she was nearly knocked over when a Dragonet was all but on her lap. Staring up at her with whirling rainbow hues the Harper found herself more involved with the Riders of Crescent. Because now she was one, shocked but also thrilled she sent a letter to the Hall along with her reports, they replied that they would send another over once they could find a replacements as well as congratulating her. As the first female Copper-rider, Monica had to prove herself to the Weyr for she had the option on like other Riders but the Queens. Of becoming Wingsecond....and possibly though she kept herself from thinking so, Wingleader. As time passed the Weyr was not only content, but proud of the pair showing that even a Female knew what she was doing. But the one secret the pair shared was that, before Veralinth was a Turn old Monica had intimate relations with Brownrider S'under. Who was also Weyrlingmaster at the time, Monica was caught in the middle of a Queen's flight and S'under's Calzeth rose to the challenge. Veralinth, mature beyond his years and highly intelligent told his Rider that she should follow the feelings she had for the Brownrider, even if they were now noticed because of the Queen's flight. Monica took her Copper's knowledge and sought out S'under. Oblivious to the fact she was a Weyrling the Brownrider took her as eagerly as she wanted him. When a Gathering was held at Teslarin Hold, the Brownrider had another surprise in store. In the end he took it very well and the two continued on with their relationship, even though both where bonded to a Male Dragon. At first the two lived in separate weyrs for the sake of their Dragons, but as time went on Monica put her foot down as she wanted to be with S'under. The males obliged, if a bit reluctantly.

Monica enjoyed her life as a Dragonrider, but like everyone else was caught unaware when the plague hit. Luckily for her Veralinth never caught the illness, unlucky for herself, she did. It was about the time that Weyrwoman Asha announced moving the Weyr. She agreed the illness was too thick here, maybe with somewhere fresh they had a chance. Packing her stuff and becoming stubborn when S'under was terrified by her wanting to travel in her state. The Copper-rider knew this was for the better, if not...well she would deal with that when the time came. For now she and Veralinth, along side S'under and Calzeth, followed their Weyrwoman to the Western Continent. As Solace was found and now in construction, Monica was still weak and ill. But it seemed this was what everyone needed, for those who were sick or close to death, were now recovering.
