Could my character;

Be H.A.D.? (Hears-all-dragons)

No they may not. Admins decide who does and does not have the ability to be H.A.D. This is a unique gift that is expressed few and far between.

Have purple streaked hair/ multi colored eyes/anything unusual, strange and cliche?

No. This Pern may be based in an alternate world, but it is NOT a world where hair or eyes can be an random unnatural color. This is a world that knows not of dying hair. Please stick to realism about a world that is not as advance as Earth.

Have a troubled past?

It all depends really. If you do wish to have a troubled past, please send your character profile to an Admin first before posting it up. Once we read it over and if there are any questions, and answered, we will see if it will be acceptable.

Be a Mary Sue or Gary Stu?

NO. Perfection is not fun to play at all nor do we care to deal with such. So do not even begin tothink that it will be allowed.

Have a fire lizard?

Certainly. The south is abundant with the little creatures. For now, each character is limited to three. A player may only have one queen fire-lizard. Upon initial character creation you may create a green, blue, or brown. Bronzes are by express Admin permission only and Queens are through hatchings only. Sport colors are not allowed to be created initially, but can be gotten through hatchings. There are a few exceptions to any of this and if you think you might be one, feel free to PM an Admin.

Have a sexual relationship before graduating from the Weyrling class?

It's not suggested or looked upon, but by the Weyr's rules are that is isn't allowed. There is a high chance of damaging your dragonet who's body has not matured enough to understand what the Rider is feeling or doing. Also put in that a Dragonet is extremely emotional and possesive, they may see this as a sign their Rider does not want them and hurt themselves. As a warning a weyrling should not have sexual relationships, but if you want, chance the fact of damaging your dragon and getting caught. Which if caught will result in any Admin to take whatever actions they feel should be done.

Be the Weyrwoman/Weyrleader?

Weyrwoman? Only if you have Impressed a Gold at Solace Weyr and there is an "the next Queen to rise". No pre-Goldriders. Weyrleader? Only if you catch the Senior Queen during a mating flight.

Win the Queen's Flight?

It all depends, if you enter a flight. It never means you always win it. Unless the Queen and Rider choose, all names of the particapting males will be thrown in a randomizer and slowly picked to drop out. Until two are left and either the Queen chooses from the two choices or left to pick in randomizer. All such events will be notified through PMs.

Cause a lot of trouble/hurt people/trash things/ruin everything for everyone?

On this subject depending on what you would like to do and the tolerance of the Admins. You MAY NOT hurt or cause death of a character. That is still considered "GOD-moding". If you wish to start a major plot of trouble PM an Admin and we will let you know. As to ruining things, if you want to be center of attention you will be under the Admins who may not at all tolerate such actions. If it is planned between Admins, Mods, or other Memebers and their characters it is alright. And if some takes offense an Admin will deal with it.

A vegetarian?

For this, it is completely up to you. If so, do not be surprised if it becomes hard for you to roleplay. There is not many veggies on Pern to grow up healthy, and the majority of Pern do each meat. And may see something wrong with your character. But if that is the risk you wish your character to take, by all means go right ahead.

Choose when my Gold/Green/Crimson rises?

Unfortunately in the case of Gold and Crimson, you will only have partial determination when she rises because these flights will always result in a clutch. The Admins meticulously plan the hatchings and the details and we work hard to make sure we do not wind up overpopulated. Most likely, we will PM you giving you a time frame in which to have your gold/crimson rise. Golds and Crimsons may rise twice in a year. Greens however may rise 4 or 5 times a year. Please PM an Admin just to get the okay to throw her up. We don't want to have 5 or six open unfinished flights going at once. But most likely you'll be able to have them rise whenever you'd like.

Choose what the number and colors my Queen's eggs are, and who they go to?

All these choice fall under the Admin's and Mod's power. Only the Admins or Mods may choose the size of the clutch, the number and color distribution and to whom they go to. During a hatching you are encouraged to play your queen, but it is the Staff Council who will actually hatch the eggs. Again, this is for population control reasons and we spend a lot of time analyzing each character and writing an appropriate dragon.

Can I choose what color dragon my Candidate will Impress?

Absolutely not. You candidate will not know what color dragon s/he will be Impressing, nor the name. All of this is chosen by the staff. Do not suggest things like "I would love to play a queen hatchling" or "He would be horrified if he Impressed blue". This will likely land you exactly what you DON'T want and isn't taken kindly by the staff. Not everyone can ride gold or bronze and not all characters are appropriate for those colors.

Have two of my characters have a relationship with each other?

Completely your choice, it could get confusing for readers, and a bit lonely too. But if you wish to, go ahead.
