The Character Creation Guidelines
  • Character templates can be found within the “Character Templates” Topic. Fill out all required information, post the profile within the Main Sub-board of “Character Registration”.
  • Every Member immediately starts out with a 4 character quota. You can obtain more slots by posting, once you reach a certain amount of posts you can add on to your quota. To know the post requirements you can find the information within “Character Quota & NPC Rules".
  • High ranking characters will be selected when the position is open, at that time Members can fill out an application. The Staff will look each over and notify the Forum of who has been chosen.
  • Sub-high Rankers may be created if the position is available. The Staff will look over the application, if found acceptable that character will be approved and moved to it's proper place.
  • Dragon Candidates are between the ages 14-19 Turns of age. Rarely will anyone older and extremely rare will anyone younger. Wher Candidates are between the ages 14-30. Rarely will anyone older and extremely rare will anyone younger. The same age applies to those who bond to Prowlers, as it does for Whers.
  • As stated all profiles are to be placed within the main Sub-board, once your character has been approved a Staff member will move that character to their appropriate place.
  • A post must contain at least two paragraphs (5 to 8 sentences each) The more descriptive one is, the better. Due note that if you are unable to make two paragraphs, at least try for one.
  • Character profiles have a higher chance of being looked over and approved on the weekends than the week days. Please do not bug a Staff member to look your Character's profile over, or constantly ask in the Cbox. Please use a spell-check of some kind, it makes it easier on everyone and will get your Character approved even quicker.
  • You will not be able to roleplay until your profile has been moved to the correct forum by a Staff Member.
  • Remember to please update your character regularly as needed, if something has changed in your character's life, your character's age, or appearance (like new scars, etc.)
  • Please keep things to Pern's Canon guidelines.
  • Remember that people with Blue/Green eyed and Blonde/Red hair is uncommon to rare. Other wise please stick to what is available.
  • There are name restrictions and should be followed. Unique is fine but do not go over board, we know that some subjects are the “big thing” right now and we do not want to see a million characters with names similar or those actual names. It shows the Staff that you are not being creative or serious in our eyes.
  • Please don't base characters completely off of anime, tv, movies, or books. They can be similar in general but remember to alter them so that they are believable and fit within the Pern world.
