"Wow, thanks guys!" Feeling a lot more friendly towards the warlike shrooms, I headed into the new path with November. I glanced at the tired Vibrava, and recalled him, saying, "Amazing job. You'll make a great Flygon."

You headed up the new path, which after quite some time, you finally made it out of this underground mushroom base. You ended up climbing out of a hole, and the sun's warm rays shined down on you once again.

Your eyes adjusted to the light, and when you looked around you realized that you were very close to Cinder Oasis. What would you do now?

I kept walking around, looking for pokemon to battle. I needed to train these low level guys, especially Carvanha.

[Shadow Slayer]

You then found a level 28 female Buneary, who was hopping round and round in the grasslands. She noticed you, but just continued bouncing about...

[Mawile]

I released Carvanha, and yelled, "Chomp down on it with Crunch! Aim for the legs so it can't escape!" Carvanha moved forward quickly, mouth wide open, and exposing sharp teeth.

[Shadow Slayer]

The Carvanha swam around in mid air, and caught up to the bouncing buneary fast. Using Crunch, it bit hard into the buneary's ear, doing some great damage! Buneary turned around and used Jump Kick, smashing hard into the dark type for some damage! And rough skin hurt the buneary...

"Bite down on it with another Crunch! You've got a big level advantage and STAB, you'll be okay." Carvanha clacked its teeth, and I took that as a yes.

[Shadow Slayer]

Carvanha swam through the air once more, biting down hard into Buneary's skin with a crunch, doing massive damage to the normal type pokemon! She winced, but the jumped in the air, and smashed her foot onto the Carvanha's body.

Carvanha's rough skin damaged Buneary enough to then knock it out. Catch Buneary?

I decided not to catch Buneary, but then Carvanha began to glow like a lightbulb. The energy-saving kind of glow. The glow died down, and a Sharpedo was looking at me. Red and blue areas were now navy blue and grey, and the fish's face had become angular. Red eyes gleamed, and I could sense my pokemon's delight at reaching a newer, stronger form. "Congratulations!" I said, really meaning it. "Let's keep searching for pokemon."

[Shadow Slayer]

Sharpedo's evolution let off a light that caused a curious level 31 male Starly to fly on down from above, to figure out what happened. Upon seeing the Sharpedo, he regretted flying down, but was prepared to battle.

[Mawile]

"Sharpedo, put that huge attack to good use, and use Crunch!" Sharpedo was a glass cannon, so I needed to be careful with it.

[Shadow Slayer]

Starly flew down fast at the Sharpedo, smashing its right side with a quick attack! But Starly's own right side was scratched up from the rough skin, causing the bird some pain.

Sharpedo bit hard into Starly's right side next, which was already hurt, for great damage! Starly fell over, fainted. Catch Starly?

[Mawile]

I grinned, smiling to myself. "Great job, Sharpedo. Now, let's keep-"

My cell phone suddenly began playing the Dodgson remix, and I checked out a text I had gotten. Hey everyone! Headed to Nugem now with Drogaur. If you would like to join, meet me there. It was from Billy's phone.

I let out a cackle, and recalled all my pokemon but November. "Fly me to Cinder Oasis, please." He nodded, and we took off.
