I just realized we don't actually have this stated anywhere... so I'll post it here.

After registering, to start your own game, you need to make a new topic in Professor Magnolia's Lab. Click Start Here to see what your starter options are, then begin a new topic in Professor Magnolia's Lab stating who you would like to start with. A mod will reply to your post with your requested pokemon. This will be your Profile, where everything will be kept track of in your rpg.

After a mod has replied, you may continue to Camber Town, which is where you will say goodbye to your guardian(s). Once a mod has replied there, you may begin your journey in Pine Needle Grove.

Once you enter the actual rpg routes, which starts in Pine Needle Grove, you need to request a mod. This is new as of March 30, 2008. You can request a mod in the Request a Mod forum. Simply ask one of the available mods in this section to mod you. When you are through with a route, you will need to ask another mod (or re-ask your current mod) to mod you in the next route/town. If you do not ask a mod to mod you, you probably will not get a reply in your journey! So don't forget to ask someone! Every mod has a different writing style and amount of computer time, so this is something to keep in mind when asking someone to mod you. Also, some mods only mod certain areas, so be aware of what they do/prefer when you pick one!
