Sal's journey in Pine Needle Grove

As Sal walked into the beautiful Grove of woods and flowers he saw little flower pokemon running through the flowers.He smiled at the sight.Flower popped out of her pokeball suddenly and started to play in the flowers.She was playing with a bunch of Cherubi.It was a long path but Sal knew with Flower by his side they would manage."And maybe i'll get a pokemon on the way!"Sam thought excitedly.Flower ran back to Sal and they started walking down the path when someone bumped into him."Oh...Sorry."A girl's voice said.It sounded familiar.Amber!Didn't she leave already?

(Sorry about that. ^^; I went to visit family this weekend for Easter and didn't get to update you before I left. =D BUTTERFREE TWINS! *Hi5's*)

The girl turned around, slightly confused as to why someone had bumped into her while in the vastness of the grove. The emerald of the girl's bandana perfectly matched her dark green jeans, all being brought together by a white tee with different faded lettering on it that you couldn't make out.

"Sal, is that you?" She smiled at you, sending you a warm feeling. "You finally got your first Pokemon, I see. I did, too, but it's certainly not like yours..." Almost out of thin air the teen pulled a Poke Ball and tossed it into the air which made red light spill onto the field. A healthy looking Cyndaquil appeared by her side and began staring up at you.

"So I thought you had left town already?" Sal said,Flower running to his side."I uh...forgot something."Amber said."So wanna pokemon battle?"Sal asked."Sure!Same thing I wanted to ask you!"Amber yelled."Alright then!"Sal yelled.They engaged into a pokemon battle right away."Flower!Use tackle!"Sal called to Flower,who was staring at Cyndiquil happily.Flower started to run at Cyndiquil.

"Cyndaquil, Tackle!"

Hacing higher Speed, the Fire-type ran ahead of Chikorita and did a couple evasive tactics before simply slamming its entire body weight into the Grass-type. Now angered and ready to battle, Flower glared at her opponent with eyes of hatred and ran forwards, simply doing the same to Cyndaquil in turn.

Chikorita: Less than Normal
Cyndaquil: Above Almost Weakened

"I'm just getting warmed up too!"Amber yelled,full of confidence."Oh really"Sal said."How bout' this!Use all your might and tackle again Flower!"Flower turned a pure white and dashed at the Cyndiquil,seconds away from trampoling the little fire pokemon.

[Aquarinyoshi]

(Amber has the level five Magikarp too, right?)

"We can't let them win, Cyndaquil! Hurry and Tackle," she yelled, determination illuminating throughout her eyes.

Turning around, Cyndaquil faced Flower and quickly bolted forwards before delivering a rather powerful Tackle to the poor Pokemon's side for a good amount of damage. Your Grass-type Pokemon, obviously not taking lightly to the situation, retaliated by charging forwards and tackling the fiery echidna Pokemon in his side for about the same amount of damage.

Chikorita: Almost Weakened
Cyndaquil: Below Weakened

(Yeah but He wasn't in her roster so she won'thave it until next time!=D)
Sal smiled as he saw that Cyndiquil wasn't quite a match for Flower."Grrr....Alright Cyndiquil use Tackle and don't let Flower dodge this!"Amber commanded.Cyndiquil charged at Flower but Flower was ready."Now Flower!Tackle him in his tracks!"Sal yelled."Chika!"Flower replied.And tackled.

(I'm really sorry for my absence; school is almost out and it always seems to get busier within the last few weeks. I'm hoping that was the last spurt. ^^; )

"Cyndaquil, hurry and Tackle, Flower!"

Everything seemed to go in slow motion for a few seconds. Cyndaquil managed to beat Chikorita to the punch once again, but like before, the Grass-type packed the bigger punch. As both collided, they skidded back to their respective start, waiting for more commands to take down their opponents.

Chikorita: Weakened
Cyndaquil: Weak

Amber turned red as a tomato."uhh...Cyndiquil!Use tackle once more!"Amber said.Sal had been expecting this."Flower.Use tackle to defend."Sal said calmly.Amber calmed down."Come on Cyndiquil!We can do it!"

[Aquarinyoshi]

"Hurry, counter that Tackle!"

Just as before, the two Pokemon flew back in for another round of Normal-type acrobatics. Neither gave up in the game of brute strength they developed, but an ironic turn of types shown Chikorita still prevailed this time round. As Cyndaquil backed away, Flower managed a cheap shot which sent the Fire-type tumbling back towards Amber.

Chikorita: Almost Weak
Cyndaquil: Almost Fainted

"Hm.I see your a worthy rival!Alright Cyndiquill!As Ive heard your ability 'Blaze' makes you stronger when your almost fainted,Use tackle!"Amber called to Cyndiquil,trying to get off the grass."Alright Fower!Lets finish this battle!Use tackle once more!"Sal ordered.FLower glared at Cyndiquil with triumph and prepared to tackle.

(Just to clear things up, "Blaze" makes Fire-type moves stronger. ^^; )

"Now, finish this! Get back in there with Tackle!" Amber was obviously distressed, clenching her fists until the blood drained from them.

The fiery echidna started off the turn as before and quickly ran off towards Chikorita. In turn, the Grass-type did the same and both met in yet another collision, flinging the other backwards and onto the ground for massive damage. They both slowly stood up, but Cyndaquil gave way, meaning you were the winner!

Amber walked over to you, clearly amazed yet depressed by her loss to you. Outstretching her hand, she handed you $125 for your victory as Flower sat by your feet, exhausted. It truly was a battle for the books and would be remembered; afterall, it was both your very first battle.

She looked at you, and then in he direction of Camber Town, "With Cyndaquil down I have no choice but to head back and heal up. I guess I'll see you around, yes?" With that, she ran off into the pine-covered distance, blocked from your view.

Chikorita: Weak
Cyndaquil: Fainted

"I...won!?Yeah!Time to continue down the path!" Sal walked away with Flower collapsed in his arms,asleep.

As you walked down the path, leaves fallen from deciduous trees shuffled across the ground from the wind. It was a chilly autumn day, but a nice one at that. Pokemon were busily preparing for the oncoming winter by storing away food and eating until the sun went down. A level five, male Nincada dug its way out of the ground in front of you, probably in search of food.

Know what?I'll train Cherubi!Cherubi! use tackle on Nincada!And try not to go for murder!

With a clear level advantage, Cherubi ran forwards and brutally made a Tackle at Nincada. The Pokemon flew back into a couple cedar trees and made a clear effort to brace itself by using Harden to riase its Defense. Cherubi danced around, ready for moreof what was to come.

Cherubi: Normal
Nincada: Weakened, (Defense +1)

"Grrr...Why won't it di-I mean erm...faint!Cherubi.Leech seed and follow with tackle!" Sal commanded

(For some reason I can never remember anyone in Pine Needle Grove...)

Cherubi readily sent tiny seeds at Nincada, but the bug easily evaded them by moving quickly from side-to-side. It crawled forwards and hastily attempted to Scratch Cherubi for a small amount of damage. The cherry Pokemon then responded by blasting forwards with a Tackle for its own damage.

Cherubi: Less than Normal
Nincada: Above Weak, (Defense +1)

"Cherry.You don't have to hold back anymore this Nincada is bugging(Stupid pun) me.Tackle and while hes recovering use leech seed.

Cherubi dashed forwards on stubby legs and made an attempt to Tackle the poor Pokemon. Nincada was easily hit and skidded backwards into some bushes. Using them as coverage, he was more easily able to avoid the oncoming seeds. It seemed you were going to have to come up with a plan if you wanted to seed the Pokemon.

Nincada: Below Very Weak, (Defense +1)
