On the Wayside

"Ok, finish it off with a tackle, lets see how it likes that!" I called, feeling really confident in all my pokemon really.

Bayleef ran forward, tackling hard into the Krabby, knocking the water type out very quickly. You didn't have any pokeballs, so you couldn't catch Krabby. What would you do now?

I would give Magnus a great big hug, that was what!
After I released him from the grip of hugging death. I decided we should buy some pokeballs..

You entered the mart here in town...

After I came out, super happy with all the bargins I got from there. I decided to explore the town a little more, before heading to hunt out the gym.

You looked around the town, seeing once again many people about, going to fish or to the fisherman's guild here in town. Many were going to the docks, to invite a boat that was coming in from the sea back to Wayside.

The smell of the ocean was seemed to relax your body as you walked about, a refreshing smell of salt water and water type pokemon. A Wingull, level 17 and female, floated down towards you to enjoy the smell as well.

I smiled, she was pretty I thought. I didn't make any sudden movements, incase I spooked her or made her feel she had to defend herself.

The Wingull seemed to be enjoying the breeze, and after a little while, she flew back up high into the sky, and then out of sight. Looking up above you saw the clear blue sky, not a cloud in sight. It seemed peaceful...

A Pidgey, level 16 and male, flew down from the sky and prepared to ruin the peaceful moment, by wishing to battle.

"Well, ok Pidgey. I will use Flossy to battle you." I tossed her ball out, into the serene surroundings. "Use thunderwave and follow it up with tackle." I told her.

[Shadow Slayer]

The Pidgey was instantly paralyzed from Flaaffy's Thunder wave attack, which summoned blue electric waves from the electric type's body, and fired them forward at the bird. Pidgey struggled, but tackled hard into Flaaffy for some damage. Flaaffy tackled back, as the Pidgey kicked up sand, lowering Flaaffy's accuracy.

Flaaffy: Close to , -1 Accuracy

Pidgey: Close to , Paralyzed

"Flossy, use other senses to help you home in for a thundershock attack, and then use a growl!" I called to her. Hoping she could get past the temporary blindness.

[Shadow Slayer]

Flaaffy released a powerful electric shock from its body, and zapped the Pidgey for some excellent damage! It held on, and used tackle again, knocking Flaaffy over. But the Flaaffy got back up, and growled at Pidgey, lowering its attack power.

Pidgey was too paralyzed to fight back...

Pidgey: Less than , Paralyzed, -1 Attack

Flaaffy: , -1 Accuracy

I smiled to myself. "Well done Flossy. Ok. Now use a growl and follow it up with a tackle attack!" I called to her.

The Flaaffy growled at the Pidgey, lowering its attack a notch. Pidgey kicked up more sand, lowering Flaaffy's accuracy. But the electric type then used tackle, managing to strike on the Pidgey's weak point, and knock it out! Catch Pidgey?

I had alot of normal and part flying types already. Sure a pidgeot would be cool eventually, but I decided not to catch it just yet. Maybe I would catch a diffrent one later.
I moved the pidgey to let it recover, asking Flossy, if she could see or hear anything interesting?

There wasn't much to do around the time at the moment. You could visit the docks and possibly get a ticket to one of the three wayside islands, or attempt to visit someone's house in town, or just continue battling wild pokemon in town. The gym was always an option, as well. What would you do?

I decided we would go and see one of the islands. It would be an adventure, and we might find a cool ally pokemon to bring back with us..

You headed on over to the docks, where you could possibly buy a ticket to use a boat to take you to the islands...

I grinned at my ticket, deciding to get my pokemon healed quickly, before I would head over. Sure Joy might think me a little crazy, but hey who cares?!
I headed back to the pokemon centre, then I would catch the next boat out.
