"It's a desert, so I know I won't find them right away. I just gotta keep searching..." I said to myself. I sent out Vulpix and Skarmory again, keeping me company as we searched for bugs...

Suddenly though, you found something dead ahead...It looked very blended in with the desert sand, but it was floating in the air, which allowed you to point it out. It was a Burmy! Level 15 and male. It was floating away...and had a sandy cloak!

"That's exactly what I wanted, how ironic!" I said. I've been wanting a Mothim for some time. "Skarmory, use Leer and Aerial Ace!" I said.

The Burmy began by using tackle, hitting hard into the skarmory but for not much damage. Skarmory's leer lowered the defenses of the Burmy's a notch. Then, Skarmory went forward to use Aerial Ace, but failed to do damage due to protect!

"Aerial Ace again Skarmory, but use it first this time, then use Double Team!" I said.

The burmy tried protect again, but the shield didn't show up! He was hit hard with a powerful aerial ace, knocking him back a couple notches. Then, Burmy used tackle for some more damage, as Skarmory made clones...

"Use Leer again to lower its defense to a -2, then use another Aerial Ace!" I shouted. It was going to be tough fighting with a level 5 guy but I knew Skarmory could do it.

Once again, Burmy pulled up a protect shield, which blocked leer. It then tackled hard into Skarmory for some damage, but was hit hard with an aerial ace!

"Keep it up Skarmory, you're weakening it! Leer and Aerial Ace again!" I shouted, hoping he could KO this Burmy soon...

Burmy did the same again. Failed to use Protect, as leer lowered its defense, and it tackled into Skarmory. Then, Aerial ace did intense damage to your opponent, and the burmy started to get tired...

"Alright Skarmory, the Burmy's getting too weak now. It'll probably use Protect again, so take this Sitrus Berry and then use Aerial Ace!" I shouted.

Your prediction was correct. Skarmory ate the sitrus berry, as Burmy used protect. Your Skarmory then finished eating, restoring lots of health, and flew forward, crashing hard into the sandy cloak burmy, knocking it out! Catch Burmy?

I smiled. Skarmory beat a pokemon 10 levels stronger than him. I threw a BCC ball at the Burmy, then continued heading back to Niner's Stake.

You walked on back to Niner's Stake, not finding too much on your way. It didn't take long to make it back there, since there seemed to be a lack of bugs here in the desert. Except for that burmy, of course.

You re-entered Niner's Stake...

I re-enter Corona Desert from Niner's Stake after I finished the BCC. I start walking quickly into the route, hoping to find out what this text from my brother means...

Walking further into the desert, you noticed a lone figure standing in the distance. It flapped its rather small wings towards you and flew over, revealing its icy face and cute features. The Pokemon was a level sixteen and male Delibird who was bouncing up and down in front of you. The Pokemon could barely sit still, cheery emotions just boiling over the top.

(Sorry about this, I've been kinda busy the past two weeks)

"Wait a minute, a lv 16 Delibird? A MALE lv 16 Delibird? Is this Cole's Delibird?" I said to myself. I approached the Delibird and asked why it was so happy and what it was here for.

(I thought you died. D= I'm glad to have you back, though)

Delibird, although not entirely admitting to his trainer's status, still seemed quite fond of the name. He raised a wing as if to say, "One moment..." and opened his sacklike tail. Reaching inside, he pulled out a rather opulent letter completely decorated in vivid Christmas colors. Opening it, you read:

“Pikafan,

On behalf of Team Glacier, I would like to cordially invite you to partake in this year’s Christmas Vacation from the 21st of December to January 1st. During the holiday season, you will be able to enjoy an all expense paid trip to Surge Outlet Network Island where you can partake in festivities sponsored by the natives of SONI and members of Team Glacier. Once you arrive on the island, you will be greeted by one of the vacation coordinators who will merrily greet you, inform you of a few opportunities available to you during your stay, and assign you your suite on the fourth floor of Sun City’s extravagant resort. In your room, you will be provided with an agenda of what will be taking place and when, a few needed necessities for those activities, and your “Secret Santa” which you will be asked to buy a small gift for.

In this letter you will find a piece of parchment asking for your signature, verifying that you will be able attend this event. After you give your approval, please hand the parchment back to my Delibird, who will then present you with a colored orb. This orb is one of few materials needed to participate in a couple of the events. Be sure to keep it and your letter! The letter is your key to acquiring the information needed while on the island which you must flash to the vacation coordinator when you first arrive, otherwise you will be politely asked to leave the premises. These two items combined are your ticket to wintry fun and chilly celebrations, so be sure not to lose them. We can’t wait to hear from you and hope that you attend our frosty retreat in the tropics!

Happy Holidays!

Sincerely,
Aquarinyoshi of Team Glacier”

After reading the letter, I said, "Good old Aquarinyoshi," then signed the piece of paper and handed it back to Delibird and put the note in my pocket while I waited for the orb.
