Hakira paused to stretch back, glad she had remembered to pack some sunblock as she surveyed the sandy area before her. Smiling, she kicked off her shoes and headed down near the water; walking barefoot as the tide washes over your legs is the best way to travel the beach! Jeromie and the yet nameless Espeon and Eevee traveled alongside her; Jeromie and Eevee seem to have gotten themselves into a game where they'd run in as close to the waves as they could, then rush right back out the minute a big wave came crashing down. The two seemed to be having fun, and Jeromie was particularly careful in making sure the little Eevee didn't get too close.

The beach was nice and warm today, hey, lets go for a swim! Sounds like a good idea! Just watch out for the tentacool and sharpedo...eh...maybe we'll swim some other time. =P

The beachside stretch was a long walk, so it would be good to get started, you thought. A level 20 male Wingull floated down towards you, kinda interested in battling, but just chilling there...

"Yo Wingull, you up for a fight?" she asked, waving one arm in the air and using the other to toss a pokeball, revealing Konnor. "If he agrees, start with a ThunderPunch."

Its just too easy. =P

The Wingull nodded and sprayed at Konnor with a water gun, who dodged and jumped up high to the skies. He punched Wingull with an electric fist, instantly knocking it out! Catch Wingull?

[Quetzacotlchu]

"Good work Konnor, keep that thunder fist ready 'cause I've heard there are a LOT of Wingull out here. Sorry in advance if you get bored..."

He waved it off, looking more than happy to help out. Maybe he held a secret grudge against Wingull...

Another wingull, level 22 and female, floated down at the sight of the male one fainting. She was in shock (haha) from the easy knockout of the wingull, and wanted to battle you in anger...

[Quetzacotlchu]

Hakira scratched the back of her head, "Huh, too bad we don't have any french fries or pretzels to divert her attention with. Well, if she wants to fight... Another ThunderPunch, Konnor."

[Shadow Slayer]

Konnor jumped up and attacked with an electrified fist, clashing with Wingull's wing attack. But due to wing attack being a flying type move, the electric attack easily overpowered it and knocked out wingull instantly.

Catch Wingull?

Hakira decided to pass on the Wingull, and Chloe let out a yawn as the group continued onward.

A level 24 male krabby was walking sideways in your direction, pinching its claws, wanting to pinch your toes like crabs do...

[Quetzacotlchu]

"Gack!" she hopped back as the Krabby advanced, "Chloe, freeze those dangerous pincers with an Ice Beam!"

[Shadow Slayer]

Krabby ran forward to use a vicegrip attack, but Chloe used Ice Beam, blasting the pincers and freezing them solid! It stopped, and then used harden, raising its defense.

Krabby: Less than Normal, Pincers frozen, +1 Defense
Glaceon: Normal

[Quetzacotlchu]

"Nicely done!" she complimented, "Now switch over to full out attack mode: give that Krabby the best Ice Beam you've got!"

[Shadow Slayer]

Glaceon fired a powerful ice beam right at the Krabby, doing incredible damage to the water type, thanks to the 105 difference in special, but not as much damage as it should due to not very effectiveness. Krabby was hanging on, completely frozen solid!

Krabby: Very Weak, Frozen, +1 Defense
Glaceon: Normal

"Okay cool, he's frozen," she paused, "No pun intended, heh! This turn, go for a Quick Attack!"

And the poor krabby, frozen in a block of ice, was knocked out by a swift quick attack. the block of ice fell over, fainted. Catch Krabby?

Hakira decided against capturing the Krabby, so the merry band continued on their way without it.

The wind felt nice on your face as you walked along, and you suddenly decided to look at the ocean before you. And as you watched peacefully, you then suddenly noticed a level 25 male Tentacool, creeping up on you from the water...

[Quetzacotlchu]

Hakira blinked at the Tentacool, backing up slowly and making sure to watch for those stingers.

"You up for a battle, Tentacool?" she questioned before looking over at Konnor, "If he is, let him have a ThunderPunch."

[Shadow Slayer]

The Tentacool fired a round of poison sting attack at Grovyle, who easily dodged the move by jumping, and then punched the Tentacool hard with an electric fist, for some excellent damage.
