I enter Corona Desert, coming from Niner's Stake. I wipe my forehead immedietly, then remember I have some stuff to do. I send out Golem and Aggron and teach Aggron Surf and Golem Strength. I then return them both and start moving through the desert...

Move through the desert you did, right under the hot sun and through the scorching hot sand. A Sandshrew level 34 and male suddenly appeared, not really minding the heat at all. But that's because it was a desert pokemon.

I grab Barboach's pokeball and sent him out. I shouted, "Barboach, this Sandshrew's a little tougher than you, but don't worry about it. Use Surf!"

The Sandshrew ran forward and used Scratch, hitting the barboach hard and doing a bit of damage. Barboach's eyes glowed a blue color, and from nowhere a huge wave appeared, crashing over sandshrew for critical damage, knocking it out! Catch Sandshrew?

I toss a pokeball at the Sandshrew, since Sandslash is one of my current favorites. I then continue walking through the desert...

"Continue onwards!" Is what you said to yourself, as you walked through the hot and steamy desert. You couldn't really see much that was ahead of you, just sand upon sand upon sand. You could see the heat rising from the sand in the distance, which just made it seem ever so hotter due to what you were seeing.

As you stared out into the distance, a Cacnea level 31 and male appeared standing right next to you, and wondering what you were looking at. He began staring into the distance as well, trying to see something...

I turn toward the Cacnea and ask it, "Hey there little fella, what are you looking at?" I await its response, even though I wanted to battle it.

It turned to you and seemed to be asking the same thing. Except the little part, since you towered over him. Upon seeing that you snapped out of your trance, he challenged you to a battle.

"Great, exactly what I wanted. Butterfree, go, and use Supersonic, then use Bug Buzz!" I said as I released her from her pokeball.

Butterfree began by emitting sound waves from its wings, which would confuse Cacnea. But with its low accuracy, it missed the grass type. Cacnea ingrained into the ground, which would cause it to restore health a little every turn.

Butterfree than began releasing more sound waves and such from its wings, buzzing around and surrounding Cacnea, doing some excellent damage! The grass type held on and used faint attack for some damage.

"Dang low accuracy. Try using Supersonic again, then Bug Buzz." I said. I watched as Butterfree went to attack Cacnea...

Once more, sound waves flew from Butterfree's wings and surrounded the Cacnea, confusing it! It bumbled around and used Faint Attack, hurting Butterfree like last turn. Cacnea then took more sound waves from the wings of Butterfree, doing some intense damage. Cacnea hung on though and restored some health through its ingraining...

"This time, Butterfree, let's use a different Bug type move. Use Silver Wind, it should knock out Cacnea," I said.

Butterfree flapped her wings hard which created powerful gusts in the air. On the gusts of wind, you could see sparkling powder, making the wind leave traces of silver on its way down. You saw the wind cut at Cacnea, knocking it back and out. catch Cacnea?

I leave the Cacnea there, since I already have a Cacturne. Speaking of which, I grab Cacturne's pokeball and send him out, having him as a travel buddy as I continue on tongue.gif

Continue on once again!

The desert's heat seemed to be unbearable as you walked through it. Cacturne seemed to enjoy it though, being a desert pokemon. You could see him smirking as you dripped with sweat, walking towards the oasis.

In the distance you could see some sort of...city? Nah. It couldn't be. Were you at Cinder Oasis already? Most likely not. What could this be?

As you approached it, a Ponyta level 38 and male appeared from the right of you. It stopped in its tracks and glared at the grass type Cacturne, wishing to battle...

"I'm sorry Ponyta, but you won't be facing my Cacturne today. Not with his current moveset." I said. I grabbed Barboach's pokeball and sent him out. "Use Surf!" I shouted.

The Ponyta ran forward and stomped its hooves right onto Barboach's face, doing some intense damage! The Barboach flinched from the pain, unable to attack back right away...

"Augh. Stupid flinching. Barboach, try another Surf again!" I shouted. I forgot all about stomp being able to flinch an opponent...

Ponyta began again, gathering up an intense fire around her body. She then fired forward a ball of fire from her mouth, which as it flew, spread out in five different directions. The ball hit hard into Barboach, doing some incredible damage! It hung on from the powerful attack...

The surf wave then hit hard into Ponyta, doing some intense damage back.
