Seems like me and Sheldon have been making alot of deals with each other lately. Oh well, here's the latest.
The Edmonton Oilers have sent packing Jeff Skinner, Max Pacioretty, Justin Faulk, and EDM 2012 1st round draft pick. In return, the Lightning will send defending Hart Trophy award winner Corey Perry to Edmonton.
Didn't think I would end up trading Skinner before his prime, but we couldn't pass up the opportunity to acquire a player like Corey Perry and unite him with linemate Ryan Getzlaf in Edmotnon. We are also sad to see young studs Pacioretty and Faulk go. And owning Canucks 1st round pick made it easier to part with our own 1st round pick.
We agree to this deal. It was tough to let Perry go but we have like skinner and patches since they came into the league.
