Plot

There is a realm known to only it inhabitants and a few people on earth. People have many names for it, the most common being either Amber, or Chaos, but it is believed to be the Shadow Realm. Most people go there every night with out even knowing it, for to some it is the dream world, to others, its a way of life, housing many creatures and demons.

In the realm of shadows it is cold and the seasons are pretty much just autumn and winter. The forests are lush with evergreens and shrubs, but some of the reign is barren with usually damp dirt. There are also many deserts inland, which are so cold to a new comer that it would be hard to grasp that it is a desert, but there is still the fact that rain hardly travels that far.

Despite the reigns unending land of beauty and surprises, something wicked is brewing in the minds of most locals; a new idea for punishing criminals turning into a way of life.

At first, the punishment seemed to work; any crime would have to be punished with unpaid community service. It was making the cities much more clean, much more pleasant to look at, but the nobles wanted more. They protested that is was unfair to them that the city could legally have slaves. It was a hypocrisy. Soon, slavery was made legal, and no criminal of any age was safe from being put into market.

Ranks

Noblemen

The noblemen are the highest ranking one can have in the realm of dreams. The noblemen are just like any average person with any level of wealth. The live, go to school, get jobs, and have children who will learn live and grow into great noblemen themselves. The only thing about them are the fact that they are not slaves.

Royalty

There are few royal bloodlines. Some remain true and confident about it, but others shone and ignore the fact, and even the Prince Victor of Chaos doesn't seem to enthusiastic about it either.

Working Class

These are the successful noblemen who go to work every day and earn enough money to raise a happy and healthy family.

The Poor

These noble men live paycheck to paycheck, and sometimes the even have to end up getting and advance just to finish out the month. These noblemen are the most likely to sell their children when things get rough.

Dorei

The dorei, or slaves, are what keep the noblemen going on when the day is rough, weather its fixing a meal for them or keeping the house tempt for when they come home, entertaining the nobleman, or even fulfilling their sexual desires.

Dorei

The dorei are any slave age 13 or up.

Dorei Tsumi

These slaves are convicted felons whom are 13 and up. They were brought into slavery from committing a crime. Children that committed crimes are placed in children categories.

Dorei Shota/Dorei Loli

These slaves are children that mainly get used for fulfilling sexual desires. They can be used for other uses if necessary. Once a child is used for sexual pleasure, they can not be classified as something else until they become 13.

Dorei Shi

The dorei shi are slave children that are for general use, like cooking and cleaning. They can be re-classified at any time.

Dorei Shujin

A Dorei Shujin is the name given to a person whom owns a Dorei. They are not slaves. All Dorei must identify the Dorei Shujin in the formal as either mister, misses or master Shujin or Shujin-San, unless otherwise instructed. A Dorei salesmen is not considered a Dorei Shujin, as the Dorei is still the property of the city.

Outlaws

Outlaws are criminals who have escaped the law. They are either convicts of some crime and never showed up to a court date, or were once slaved that have escaped. Outlaws are constantly on the run and could have a slave of their own if they wanted. Children born to outlaws are also considered outlaws and can never become noblemen.

Crimes

The fallowing crimes are considered high offenses.

Incorrigibility

The parent of an Incorrigible child has the option to let them spend time in jail, be placed in obedience camp, give them up to the city as a Dorei, or just have an officer simply lecture them. A parent can redeem their child at anytime. A Dorei disobeying their Dorei Shujin can be exchanged and will be placed in prison up to ten years.

Thievery

Any persons stealing an object will lose a hand and put into Dorei work service to the victim until debt is payed off. A child caught steeling will not be taken away their hand on the first offense, but rather on their second offense.

Molestation

Any adult molesting a noble child will have a hand removed and placed into the Dorei work service as a prostitute. Any adult molesting a Dorei Shi will be require to pay a fine of 1000 pounds to the city and 600 pounds to the Dorei Shujin of the Dorei Shi. No punishment is required if a Dorei Shujin molests their Dorei.

Rape

Any adult accused of rape will have their sexual organs removed and placed in Dorei work service. If the victim was a Dorei, they will be required to give an additional fine of 5000 pounds to the city and 2000 pounds to the Dorei's Shujin. No punishment is required if a Dorei Shujin rapes their Dorei.

Murder

Any persons killing a child, noble or not, by any means will be put to death when found guilty. Murder of any adult, per-meditated or non, will result in capital punishment. Manslater of any adult results in life imprisonment will possibility of parole as a Dorei. Selling drugs with a symptom of death is treated as a murder charge.
