okay, okay, i think you get the idea. anyhow, i based the name of this thread off the poem my brother brought home from school a couple of days ago to share - if you ever get the time to look it up i would suggest so, it's quite amusing! anyhow, you might be wondering: what on earth is that gurl doing back in the intro forum?! well, i'm back from my lengthy leave of absence and want to chuck myself right back in, firstly starting with a new introduction - meeting some new face, seeing some old, etc etc. i apologise in advance: i can ramble.

my name is tilly and i'm almost seventeen years old, a year twelve student (WHO HAS ONE HUNDRED DAYS LEFT BEFORE GRADUATION NOT THAT I'M COUNTING AHEM.) next year i plan on studying a dual degree in law & political science, woo! politics is my passion, so that road is pretty set for me <33 uhm, i'm on shadowplay mostly for the writing and community aspect. my graphic skills are... embarrassing, but not for lack of trying. i attempt to follow tutorials but struggle, so i stick to my little writing niche. my favourite genre to roleplay would have to be harry potter, but lately i've also found myself straying to some more fantasy-apocalypse type websites because of the room for creativity. also, just a weird little thing... i bought one direction ticks over a year in advance and i'm starting to think i was crazy! i love heavy reading unless it's assigned reading because then i don't feel the need to enjoy it, and jodi picoult would have to be one of my fave ever authors. i have a baby cow named larrie and she is adorable c: i like to give snugs and bake, even though i'm not allowed in the kitchen unless making coffee! oh noes, i knew i was going to ramble. well, chances are i want to make you my squishy / i love you mucho, so come and say hiiiii or drop me a pm or <33 you know the drill~.

Hi Tilly! I've returned to SP very recently myself so yay to getting back into the swing. I'm so jealous of your baby cow, it sounds adorable! Anyway, I'm Ola and yeah, welcome back xD

Welcome back, Tilly! =D Eek, I can't believe you're all grown up, going away to university and such. :3 And yeyy, writing! =D Our writing section has gotten quite active in the past few months, at least a lot more than before. (: It's very exciting. =D And lol about your graphics, they really are wonderful. (: I don't know why you don't think they are. =s They're very creative. I think you just needed more pieces in your gallery and more blended ones specifically, if I remember from when you were promoted a long while ago, lol. <3 Anyway, about tutorials, seriously that's what it's like for a lot of people. I never enjoy following tutorials, so I usually just use an aspect of it, like may be a certain way they're blending things together, or part of the colouring, etc. Or even just the use of a certain texture. Anyway, it just shows your creativity that you have trouble following tutorials. xD <3

Also, Harry Potter's my favourite too. =D I still have my roleplay for the past 5 years, lol. And I'm having more fun with it now in the past 6 months than I did for a couple of years there. Plus, we're in Deathly Hallows year and are trying to make it more fun for students next year 'cause I realized that's where we went wrong before. 'Cause when the canons are out of school, you either need to make it extra fun for people to make students or steer in the direction of most characters being adults.
