NOW HIRING: NEW STAFF!

We're in need of two new moderators (two for the Resources section and one for the Banking section), so if you'd like to apply, just read the following about the section you're interested in and PM the application to me (undertheMOON).


resource moderators (1)

head of section: veevavoce .

The Resource Moderators now take care of the Graphics and Roleplaying Resources sections, making sure that the masterlists get updated and tutorials get accepted.

DUTIES: Assisting in answering the questions in the Questions board, updating masterlists, accepting tutorials & doHTML templates and posting at least 2 resources a month (tutorials can count towards this <3).

REQUIREMENTS: Promising+ for graphics, at least 50 posts, good organizational skills.


bank moderator (0)

head of section: .supersonicCAT

The Bank Moderators update the bank with the money that members claim and spend. They're very important in organizing this so everything runs smoothly.

DUTIES: Updating the bank (lists in the staff room and the members' profiles) at least 2-3 times a week.

REQUIREMENTS: Any level of graphics, writing or coding (but you must have some sort of promotion <3), at least 50 posts, simple math skills, active, friendly and organized.

directory moderator (1)

head of section: calcifer

The Directory Moderators advertise Shadowplay, link back and accept the advertisements posted in our Directory. They also clean out the offline boards from our directory every couple of months.

DUTIES: Advertise & link back Shadowplay's advertisement, accept/deny the advertisements posted on Shadowplay.

REQUIREMENTS: Any level of graphics, writing or coding (but you must have some sort of promotion <3), at least 50 posts, activity and organizational skills.

writing moderator (0)

head of section: undertheMOON

The Writing Moderators moderate all of the writing boards as well as determine who gets promoted during promotions.

DUTIES: Moderate the writing boards, discuss & decide on writing promotions. <3

REQUIREMENTS: Any level of graphics, writing or coding (but you must have some sort of promotion <3), at least 50 posts, have initiative and an objective judgement for writing. If you are not promoted in writing yet, that is fine, as long as you apply in the next set of promotions. <3

We've extended the deadline for the applications to April 12th, since we now need two Resources Moderators and one Bank Moderator. <3

Eek, with Em (MAKEEMLAUGH) needing to step down and a couple of current staff members expressing interest in changing their section, we are going to need a couple of Directory Moderators and one Writing Moderator. <3

Eliza, I has a question - Obviously, I'm already a moderator. Are we only supposed to keep it with one position or would we be able to apply for other positions as well at the same time? Just out of curiosity.

Not that I'm going to apply, but still curious for the future. ^^

It's a good question because I think someone else was wondering too. <3

If you're a moderator, you may only moderate that one section. This is so no one gets overwhelmed, everything does get done and for organizational sake as well. <3 However, if you are a moderator, you may also be on a Team [Awards or Critique].
