Wow, thats an interesting POV.... I have always had sympathy for the confederacy and I have read many books on the matter but I must say, I have never considered/read such a radical proposal.... Although it is pretty farfetched I think it is an interesting prospect. I wonder how feasable it would be to enact such a plan?

If you do a search of the web you will find many secession websites. Not just the former Confederacy but various regions of the US, Canada, and other parts of the world. In the case of a new Confederate States of America there are many groups that believe the same as me but so far there has not been a serious political movement nor a Robert E Lee to take command and lead the effort. So for now it is an unfulfilled dream but I think that in a generation or two will finally say “enough” and do what needs to be done, either the creation of a new country or a overhaul of the old.
