Sailor Moon Reboot, New Storyline

Time of where the RP is set in: Alternate Universe for the reboot story. The story starts at the very beginning where Usagi learns that she is Sailor Moon.

Plot/Story:

Sailor V just arrived in Japan, and she has generated so much excitement among the children of Tokyo. People absolutely adore Sailor V. Videos, clothing, and other paraphelia that bare her name and image constantly reminds people of Japan of her presence. However, Sailor V real reason for traveling from Europe to Japan has to do with criminal activity by a branch of a well known technology corporation. This corporation deals with nano-technology and used this technology to wreck havoc in Europe. After shutting down this branch, Sailor V heads back to Japan to deal with the headquarter of this nano-technology company. The CEO of this corporation is named Dr. James Stryker.

Sailor V decided to enter Juuban Jr High as a student and runs into Usagi Tsukino. In this rebooted version of Sailor Moon, Luna doesn’t exist, and it would be Artemis who awakens Sailor Moon. But, Sailor V is very suspicious over the existence of another Senshi and decided to keep her distance from Sailor Moon. At the same time, Dr Stryker decides to make a move and tries to destroy Sailor V before she gets an upper hand on him. His motivation is, of course, pure power by enhancing a person’s ESP by the use of nano-technology. His success in enhancing ESP varies. The nano-technology easily enhances the power of telekinesis; however, this technology fails at amplifying precognitive powers of humans. This leads to his studying of a Shinto priestess named Rei Hino.

Rei Hino does not know that she is also senshi and is contacted (and hired) by James Stryker at his Infinity Technologies secret division of ESP research. He tries to unlock Rei’s powers with the sacred flame and learns about the silver crystal. His quest begins to focus on using his nano-technology to tear the siliver crystal from Usagi. Will Sailor V help Sailor Moon? Will the awakening of Sailor Mercury help the two senshi to unite? Will Rei Hino become an enemy of Sailor Moon?

ADDENDUM to Storyline

Some people are confused about how rigid the storyline is. This is an explaination of some points.

It is true that Sailor V knows that Infinity Corporation is behind the nano-experiments in Europe, and doesnt have physical proof of it. However, she isnt sure its connected with the CEO or any of the adminstrators at the company. For all Sailor V knows, there is a rouge group within the corporation that is conducting rouge experiments without the approval of the CEO or the company's board. This company is a legitmate corporation, and many in the corporation would like to keep it like that. Sailor V wont assume that Stryker is involved, but she is keeping a watchful eye.

What does this mean?

Sailor V has many reasons to come back to Japan. People she loved in Europe assumes that she is dead, and she would like to keep it as such. That is one reason to return to Japan. The other reason is that she wants bring closure with the branch of Infinity Corporation in Europe that performed the horrible experiments. Sailor V just want to make sure that the rouge branch in Europe isn't connect with the main corporation itself. She just need validation.

Overall, the Rp'ing is open but there are some things that does need to be followed (everything else is open):

1) Sailor V needs to bring closure on her last case in Europe about the nano-experiments in Europe and hopefully she wont find any connection between the European Branch and the main office of Infinity Corporation.

2) Rei Hino will be seperated from Usagi, in the beginning. And when they meet, Rei mistakens Sailor Moon as some Youma.

3) Dr Stryker is indeed a bad guy, and wants to advance his nano-technology and ESP research.

4) Through Rei Hino, Dr Stryker will learn about the Silver Crystal and endanger Sailor moon.

Beyond that, everything is up in the air. There are no restrictions on filler storylines, or if the RP'ing goes on a tangent, as long as it returns back to the main storyline.
