PLOTTING.
This is where your official plotting goes. Before posting in anyones thread, remember to ask them first. Also, make sure they are nice and pretty, and don't muck up the cleanliness of the board. White pages is a great place to start, maybe even make your own. This is not mandatory, still, I don't want my head bitten off by plot-page crazies. So here they are.

SICBOX.
This takes a little less effort than threads, which sometimes is just great. Whilst chatting can be a bit less 'thrilling' it's fun to kick back and watch the insults whirl.

ST. LOUIS CATHEDRAL.
The major landmark of the French Quarter is the oldest continuously active cathedral in the U.S. Despite what many may think, the vampires are perfectly comfortable walking on it's grounds. Not the best place to hide from them-- a bit too open space-y. However, the cathedral boasts a particular creepy cemetery, belfry and constant eerie atmosphere. There are also rumors of secret passages underneath the grounds....

THE KERRY IRISH PUB.
A great place to stop for a drink or two. The owner is a suspicious looking man however, and eyes his patrons with a sort of, thirst? Otherwise, the atmosphere is up beat, with golden oldies and all that good stuff.

High profile functions are sure to be hosted here. Along with all the courts and lovely old buildings, dating as far back as 1720. The district boasts the well preserved faces of many angelic buildings, including many abandon eye sores. Most of which happened to be inhabited-- by humans or otherwise.

NATIONAL PARK AND RESERVE.
Nature reserve, consisting of several sections, preserves significant examples of the natural and cultural resources of the Mississippi Delta region. Prey for certain... illegal hunters, flourishes in the reserves. To be honest, the parks are just as dangerous as the city, if more.

FRENCH QUARTER.
The French Quarter is so much more than just partying on Bourbon Street. While the presence of Hurricane Katrina is inescapable in the city overall, the French Quarter, with is unique architecture, great food, jazz music, and interesting shops is very beautiful and definitely worth visiting.

ACADIA STRIP MALL.
Ya, these are all over the place, however, there is something distinctly different about this one. It's eerie, and even worse once the sun goes down. There is no one around during the evening hours, though one store seems to be constantly open, and the young lady that owns it seems friendly enough.

ODDS AND ENDS.
Streets, alleyways and every last nook and cranny of the ancient city. Though wandering in the streets late at night is discouraged by various signs, declaring "Prowl at your own risk!" Shadows move continuously throughout the city-- though you should be much more afraid of what is in them.

. .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. .

Welcome to Hell, Louisiana

New Orleans! Home Sweet Home to freaks, monsters and nightmares alike. Not to the untrained human eye however. Just another hot tourist spot, with plenty of sights to see. A war rages around humankind, and always has, since the dawn of time. It's just gotten worse. And it has claimed New Orleans as it's new battle grounds.

Remember when you used to read those stories about the Big Bad Wolf? What if I told you those weren't just stories? But reality. Blood sucking creatures, shrouded in romance, stalking the shadows of the city. Innocent, gullible humans falling prey to the world's most lethal killers. The perfect predators. The city isn't safe when the sun goes down...

And it all started with a girl, a boy, and a silly little letter.

"Why love if losing hurts so much? We love to know that we are not alone." - C.S Lewis

"It is not only the living who are killed in war." - Issac Asimov

"Him that I love, I wish to be free -- even from me." - Anne Morrow Lindbergh

( SIC !) is a literate/advanced, original and
unique Vampire & Werewolf roleplay site.
