Siren Invisus moved to a new cluster of rocks. She hummed softly to herself. She’d seen a couple of fishing boats earlier, but they weren’t worth the effort. There’d been a couple of teenage boys on the boats too. Invisus didn’t really have the stomach for killing boys. Men were foolish pigs and she could handle them. She smirked. It only takes a song to lure them onto the rocks. She thought and climbed up on the rocks, seaweed clung to her body. She lay out of view for any ships coming by, but she could push herself into view if she felt like tempting, but there had to be someone to tempt first.

"STARBOARD YA NINNIES!!!" Jev shouted to his men. "St-a-rrrr... oh never mind. Right side of the ship." He pointed. The new crew looked at him in awe, then worked on the rigging.

Jev sighed and leaned on the railing. These recruits were idiots, every year the generations grow stupider and stupider. He cracked his neck and looked around.

Invisus giggled when she heard shouting. She began to sing, it was soft at first. She would wait until they were closer to sing more vocally and show her to them. For now, a song to draw them closer, to hunger for more would do.

Jev's eyes widened and his breath caght in his throat. He knew waht that was, it-

He something pin his heart, making him want to find the source. He shouted to his men, "Weight anchor!!" They did so and he looked over, catching her sight. He smiled drunkly, watching her.

Invisus smiled and moved through the water. She still sang. Her song was both beautiful and dangerous. She came up onto the deck. The seaweed was no longer on her body. She sauntered over to Jev, singing to him. She walked around him once and then walked through the crew, singing to them.

They all stood ridgid, watching her with hungry eyes. One reached out touch her, but Jev's eyes flashed to him and he flipped out his gun, shooting the man in the arm. He fell, yelling, but he looked back at her, watching dispite his wound.

She moved back to walk around Jev. She reached out to gently touch the hand holding the gun, singing specifically to him. After a moment, she back away from him with a laugh. She disappeared into the water, still singing. When she reappeared, she was sitting at the prow of the ship.

The men were starting to lose interest as Jev stared at her, "Follow her.."

"But.. sir.."

"FOLLOW HER!" He roared.

They flinched, then watched her to see where she'd go.

Invisus moved ahead of them to an island. A reef surrounded the island, its coral spikes ready to rip any ship apart. The Siren still sang her song to lure them after her. Would they be foolish enough to follow her? Most men were. Only one had slipped through the hands of Sirens, but Invisus was the last and created out of pity.

"Go!! Now now now now now!!!" Jew pointed.

The men jumped and hurried to work. They followed her, Jev twitching to touch her, maybe more.

The Siren intensified her song. Come my boys. Come to me. She thought as she sang. Waves beat against the ship to make them fight to get to her. A vicious little Siren, Invisus wanted to see how badly they wanted to get to her.

"Harder men!" Jev walked across the deck as the crew panted. They'd glance an evil look at him, then headed for the oars, using them to work towards her.

Invisus altered her song and lowered the water around the reef, as if it were suddenly low tide. Would they turn back if they saw their peril? Grinning, she called up a hydra to block their path back. She stood out on the reef, still singing her deadly song.

The crew panicked as Jev blinked back to his senses. His eyes widened, "Shit!" He called out orders for them to turn and get the cannons ready. They knew it was already too late.

They hydra reared up out of the water as the Siren’s song faded away. It roared, lunging for the boat. Invisus stayed where she was on the reef. She watched to see the fate of the ship. This is what I am created for. Destruction, lust, and chaos. She thought as she watched.
