I haven't read the books, and quite frankly after seeing this piece of crap, I wouldn't read them. The dialogue is painful in most places, the main actors acting seems forced, Jermey Irons and John Malkovich give the best performances they can, with the worst lines in the movie. The only good thing is Sapphire. The dragon is well done, but even her lines seemed forced at times.

Everyone I know that has read the book, has hated this adaptation, and frankly I agree.

Uh...had a slight weapons malfunction. But, uh, everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I saw this trash, that dragon was alittle cute compared to what I think of when I want to draw a dragon. My fear is that people think this is how role-play adventures are. I want to see some serious hardcore dark fantasy on the big screen one day. R rated for sure, pushing X, leave the kids at home.
