I was sceptical about this one. What with Michael Bay at the helm. But after seeing this on the big screen, I feel it's worth seeing. Ok they don't look like the old cartoons, and the plot isn't the same as the cartoons, but it has all the feel. It does justice to the Transformer line, what with the tangents they have gone with (Beast Wars, Energon etc), I think this one is the better of the tangents.

No need to stay till the end of the credits, there's nothing there, just a bit during.

I really enjoyed it. I never watched very many of the cartoons or read any of the comics when I was growing up. I was too heavily engrossed in Star Wars. 04.gif

Still, I thought the CG was nearly flawless. The only thing I found disturbing was the action scenes involving the one on one combat of the bots. It was too hard to follow in some cases.
