| I've decided to go with a new forum option. While Invisionfree has been great, I've found the look of the PHPBulletin Boards to be much nicer. That, and the fact that to get the files to host a regular Invision board on my server was going to cost too much (PHPBB is free!)
Before I port everthing over from this site, or if I even should, I'd like those of you that frequent this one to come over to the new digs and check them out. To register there, just click on the little notepad and pen symbol next to the key in the upper right hand corner of the main page.
Hope to see everyone over there soon!

|#3 and I like the look. it feels cozy somehow in an artificial and digital sort of way|

I knew you guys would like it. Well, all I gotta do now is get a support ticket sent to Invisionfree for the backup files for this board so I can port it over to the new one. Don't know how long that'll take.

| Ok, so instead of going with the new board, I decided to redo the old one, it's cheaper and a lot less hassle. In the future, I may purchase the files from Invision to host the board on my website's server, but for now, I'll just keep it free. We can live with the banner ads for now.
If anybody doesn't like this skin, let me know. There's a whole bunch more on a few sites I've been looking into.
I'm going to delete the files for the other board now, so don't go looking for it...cause it won't be there.

|Other than some slight issues being able to read some of the buttons and stuff, I rather like this one. It's actually a mixed blessing, the difficulty in reading some items. It helps those like me who do this at work...|

|I probably can lighten up the text on the buttons a little, they are a little too hard to read. Like I said, it would have been too much of a hassle and too costly to make the change over.|

|Still playing around with it. Hope it will look better.|

| I'm sure it will, Jam. I DO like the green color on the black background. (My favorite color combination, don't ya know...)
Like I said, I do like this new look. With the exception of the dancing smileys, it really is better-suited to use in private.

|I like the new look. Hey my text is green . This is cool|
|Posted by: jamfke Nov 4 2006, 06:26 PM|
| Yep, the green's funky and cool. I almost thought of making it the default text for the whole board, but that would be overkill.
I had to add some red to the arrows of the forum folders that had new responses in them due to the darkness of the originals. You couldn't tell if there was a new message unless you looked really close.

|I'll still be playing with it some.|
