Post your Out of Character banter here please! veiledsmile1.gif

Posted by: netjedi Feb 1 2006, 10:34 PM
Since the character sheet thread is getting kind of crowded, I figured I would ask this question here.

Do we have to buy our generic supplies like our regular every day clothes? I know weapons and gear the answer would be yes. But things like breeches, belt shirt, cloak, belt pouch, generic cloak pin or generic cloak brooch. Would these items need purchasing as well?

Sorry to be a pain, but i just want to know.

Posted by: jamfke Feb 1 2006, 10:36 PM
Actually, it's a good question. I usually grant at least one set of clothing to the characters, but as for adventuring gear, like ropes, backpacks, flint and steel, and the like, yes, you have to purchase them.

Posted by: netjedi Feb 1 2006, 10:37 PM
cool.

Posted by: netjedi Feb 1 2006, 11:11 PM
FTR/THF ready to go.

Let me know if there is anything additional you want on the character sheet. I think it is pretty thorough.

Posted by: jamfke Feb 1 2006, 11:23 PM
Looks excellent!

Posted by: jamfke Feb 2 2006, 07:41 PM
Hey Burble, er DW, uh, what are you going to call yourself here?

Anyways, you'll be getting into this one soon too.

Posted by: Burble Feb 2 2006, 08:07 PM
DW's fine. Or Silas, that's my real name.

Posted by: jamfke Feb 2 2006, 08:11 PM
Ok, Silas, I'm Jim. If net jedi ever gets online tonight, you may get into the game quickly!

Posted by: netjedi Feb 2 2006, 10:49 PM

Posted by: Orgaloth Feb 2 2006, 10:56 PM
Silas, you must get a lot of ribbing because of the Dan Brown novel DaVinci Code.

Posted by: netjedi Feb 3 2006, 12:01 AM
Just let me know once we are out of the cave if I find nothing of use or value on the Kobold. for tracking purposes of the arrows I need to know if i was able to retrieve the arrows.

Posted by: netjedi Feb 3 2006, 01:00 AM
A critical hit is the GM's way of saying you should have ran. blbl.gif

Posted by: jamfke Feb 3 2006, 01:03 AM

Posted by: jamfke Feb 3 2006, 01:21 AM
The little girl is in the stand of trees you just squeezed into. She's lying at your feet.

Posted by: netjedi Feb 3 2006, 01:22 AM
Bah!!! I hate it when little girls don't listen. I have that problem at home with my 6 & 2 year olds.

Posted by: jamfke Feb 3 2006, 01:24 AM

Posted by: netjedi Feb 3 2006, 01:27 AM

Posted by: netjedi Feb 3 2006, 11:28 AM

Posted by: Darth Windu Feb 3 2006, 03:42 PM
Sorry, Jim actually did most of my stats for me, because I was confuzzled about modifiers.

Posted by: jamfke Feb 3 2006, 06:43 PM
Crud, looked at the wrong line! Sorry DW.

Posted by: jamfke Feb 3 2006, 07:07 PM
Hey Silas, you want in now? Or do you want to wait till net's out of his predicament?

Posted by: Darth Windu Feb 3 2006, 09:53 PM
Sure, I'd like to get in now. I could rescue her! smiley_abxe.gif

Posted by: jamfke Feb 3 2006, 10:01 PM

Posted by: jamfke Feb 3 2006, 10:24 PM
Hey, your Jedi has just been introduced.

Posted by: netjedi Feb 4 2006, 12:08 AM

Posted by: netjedi Feb 6 2006, 10:01 PM
I bet you were wondering when the chaotic and not good portion of my character were going to come out

Posted by: netjedi Feb 7 2006, 10:10 PM
It appears that it will be slow tonight. HC on over at the pit and you over here. and then there is me (tun tun tuun!)

Posted by: jamfke Feb 7 2006, 10:26 PM
Yeah, Shaun said he wouldn't be on today, and I think Alex won't be on till later either.

Posted by: netjedi Feb 7 2006, 11:25 PM
Does the quiver only produce Sheaf Arrows, or does it duplicate any non enchanted arrows in it and Tolin only used Sheaf Arrows?

Posted by: jamfke Feb 7 2006, 11:31 PM
Nope, only produces sheaf arrows. It doesn't reproduce what's put inside, though I do have stats on a quiver like that! This is just something I've thought up, though there may already be something like it somewhere. I kind of based it on Evard's Everful Purse.

Posted by: netjedi Feb 8 2006, 12:24 AM
cool, thx and shucks

Posted by: netjedi Feb 9 2006, 10:08 PM
Haha, the dwarf gets a barrel of ale all to himself

Posted by: netjedi Feb 11 2006, 08:33 PM
am I unable to keep up withthe group by distancing myself?

Posted by: jamfke Feb 11 2006, 08:38 PM
No, but if they begin making headway through the thorns, you won't be able to keep up. It's just that the thorns make your progress much slower than normal. It is very dense undergrowth.

Posted by: netjedi Feb 11 2006, 08:52 PM
alright I will keep that in mind

Posted by: netjedi Feb 11 2006, 09:56 PM
approx, how far back can I stay from them and provide cover?

Posted by: jamfke Feb 11 2006, 09:59 PM
about where you originally stated, 20 feet.

Posted by: netjedi Feb 11 2006, 11:33 PM
cool, thx

Posted by: jamfke Feb 12 2006, 12:08 AM
Ok, for the rats, Drago gets 60 xp, Shaniqua and Rarek get 15 each, plus any bonuses for prime recquisites.

Shaniqua gets 35 xp for the kobolds earlier, and Rarek gets 14, plus any bonuses, etc.

Posted by: jamfke Feb 12 2006, 12:27 AM
Oh! And for some excellent RPing, I'll even dole out an extra 500 for each. Just cause I'm so nice!

Posted by: Darth Windu Feb 15 2006, 08:17 AM
Hey, Shaun, check this out! I made a HeroMachine Pic of Drago! He's not that good but you can change him if you like. Go to HeroMachine 2.0, I'll Pm you the text to put in.

Posted by: jamfke Feb 20 2006, 08:21 PM
Yes, you can get ahead of them if you wish.

Posted by: netjedi Apr 29 2006, 10:12 PM
QUOTE (jamfke @ Apr 29 2006, 09:06 PM)
About 30 feet.

am I able to move that in a round?

Posted by: jamfke Apr 29 2006, 10:15 PM
Not at the moment, you've been entangled.

Posted by: netjedi Apr 29 2006, 10:18 PM
ok, but had I not been entangled, could I move 30 ft in a round and still attack? i do not remember the movement limits for AD&D2ED.

Posted by: Orgaloth Apr 29 2006, 10:22 PM
I think you can. That's like half of a dwarfs movement.

Posted by: jamfke Apr 29 2006, 10:34 PM
Yeah, an elf has the same rate as a human, 120 feet per round.

Posted by: netjedi Apr 29 2006, 10:35 PM
wow we are some fast moving critters. round 15 seconds?

Posted by: jamfke Apr 29 2006, 10:42 PM
I don't know, that's what it says in the books. Of course that may be in non combat rounds. Let me check.

Posted by: jamfke Apr 29 2006, 10:43 PM
Nope, that is in a combat round. Non combat rounds goes to yards. That is really fast!

Posted by: jamfke Apr 30 2006, 10:37 PM
Yo, hey there Jancy!

Posted by: netjedi Apr 30 2006, 10:38 PM
howdy, making the rounds smile.gif
