Graphic Model Override

GMOs, or Graphic Model Overrides, are physical 'shells' or 'skins' for your navi that can change their looks. Or in simpler terms: ALTERNATE COSTUMES!

A GMO can be practically anything you want. You could make an ice-user burst into flames for one GMO, or turn into some sort of metal monstrosity for another. Or a woman. Or a man! Or some sort of alien. You can even RP your attacks differently for each GMO, and use a different weapon for your buster! (Though its' stats remain the same.)

GMOs are obtained by requesting a mission from one of three sources:
  • The Netpolice
  • The Mission BBS
  • The Netmafia
All you have to do is request a GMO for a reward, and then complete the mission they give you. Simple. You can receive as many GMOs as you'd like in this manner, so long as you complete a mission for each one. You also receive a free GMO from the start just for registering your character.

Now granted, while you have a very very wide realm of possibilities for your GMO, there are some limitations:
  • A GMO cannot make your navi into anything too huge. (A house, for instance.)
  • A GMO can't make you too small, either-- something like an ant. (Beetles are right out.)
  • No Copyrighted characters, just like normal registration. This means characters from TV shows, Movies, Cartoons, Video Games, Anime, etc. While we do sometimes allow affectionate parodies (to an extent), it's usually not a good idea.
  • While GMOs can make you into, say, a slime monster, or a puddle of sentient water, it's worth noting that these are purely cosmetic changes. You may get some interesting RP situations or reactions as a result, but mechanically your character's chances of being hit (Or hitting) remain the same.
  • Finally, no making copies of other people's characters (from THIS site) with your GMO. If you ask permission from the person whose character you're using, however, we will let you make something similar, like a GMO that looks like a cross for instance.
