What's the word on this, anyone gonna catch the premiere? It's on my radar since The Shield's Kurt Sutter is involved (and happened to write last night's season premiere of that show, as well) and it's about BIKER GANGS.

Also, Ron Perlman.

You know, I was going to start this very same thread!

I don't know too much about it other than the fact that it's got Ron Pearlman, it's about a gang of rowdy bikers, and it's on FX which means it can get away with more than the big networks, so I'm going to give it a gander.

I was sold by the first ep, I'll definitely watch the whole thing. I just hope it doesn't end up as a woefully short one-shot season like Thief.

Also, Wagenbach is gonna be in the show!!

yea Jon it premiered lastnight, Downloading it now.

Ninja Edit:

One word, Sickness!

I'm not a big fan of Ron Perlman (yea I know) but homeboy kicks ass in it. Katey Sagal is a sick bitch. I can't wait to see more, it's about time a tough biker show came out. Check it out guys I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed.

meh.
was just ok, kinda boring actually. i'm not feeling this family drama bullshit, there needs to be more violent, biker gang shenanigans to offset that fruitiness.
i'll watch another ep or so to see where it goes.

The Wife and I just finished watching this and we both thought it was pretty solid. It's not going to change anyone's life, and I don't know if I'd say it's a "must see" just yet, but I'll be tuning in for more.

While I could nitpick a couple of things about it (the male lead Jax is kind of a douche and his swagger is fucking ridiculous, but that's pretty much how the character has to be) I definitely liked the fact that it seems to exist in the same world that The Shield does (with mention of the One Niners).

I thought it was just kinda "alright".... I'm on board with there being more hardcore biker violence and shit.. and I'm sure there will be, I do like how Katey Sagal's character kinda manipulates behind the scenes..

we'll see where it goes..

Third episode was kick ass, I mean how can it not be with someone getting castrated.

The third episode was indeed great. I think I'm enjoying this show more and more with each passing episode.

Last night, after catching up with episode three I get a call from Stan (yeah that Stan) and he wanted to talk about the show. I don't know if he just assumed I was watching it or what, but he said he wanted to share his theory that Sam Crow is actually Jax's real father. He is anticipating a big build up to them splitting apart and having a bloody showdown and then that'll be the big season finale reveal. Any thoughts on that?

The latest episode was really great. It was weird, awkward and fascinating to see how this "old lady" thing works through the eyes of that skank Jax picked up at the Nevada border.

I was a little bummed out, though, at how lame that gun fight sequence was. The lead up was great and then all of a sudden it was two gangs standing 15 feet away from one another, shooting at each other and only one guy gets shot. For the most part they weren't even ducking for cover or anything. Still though, a good episode.

I'm looking forward to Jay Karnes and his story unfolding.

I just watched last week's last night. Action definitely isn't a high point, just look at that Carnies VS Bikers fight. Still Carnies VS Bikers! And the rest of the show is so tight that the action just doesn't matter too much.

I still have to watch it, but I heard last night's was gnarly. Overall I'm really happy with this show so far, it's a blast, and has definitely become a regular in my stable.
