[Rob Newcastle]

Rob's eyes were almost falling out his his head from reading so damn much, 'Were's Linda when i need her, she's suposed to help me get this into my head!' he thought with a short laugh escaping his lips before he burrowed back into the truly hideous book about Giants and their Achievments. "The GREAT Achievments. By Gillius Moule". Rob closed the book, figuring it had not what he wanted and looked up for one he did need.

He noticed it, right near the top, he stood on his chair to reach it and halled the heavy hard-cover down and plopped it on the desk with a loud 'TWACK'. He jumped off the chair, needing a chair was slightly odd for Rob, he was one of the more taller in his year yet these shelves were just to damn high. He scooted to the table ad opened the book, just as a scurry of shuffles came to his corner.

"I would appriciate you being Quite! This is a Library Mr Newcastle, and I HOPE that was not one of my treasured books hitting the work table!" she said, raising her voice for random words and speaking in a clearly angry voice. "I couldn't reach to book and it didn't 'hit' your table, it landed on it quite safly." he said, using his fall height over the short libraian and watching about to make a comment but turning away and scuffling to a pair of squabling 3rd years. Rob pulled swift set of rude signs her way then set off back to reading the small and boring text.

Helooked up and noticed somebody looking, sombody famlair, god no they weren't familiar, it was Kyle. "Hey, Kyle, get your arse over here!" he said with a smirk, waiting for his friend to reaspond. He needed help in getting all that bull into his head because he was banned from getting books out for the year becuase of a certain 'non returned books' incident. "Hey, i need ya help!" he said, trying not to laugh as Madame Pince tried to ignore him."

Every so often, something happens that no one expects to happen. It's called irony. Well today, something ironic happened. Kyle Turner...went into the library. Kyle was never one to do such a thing. Most of the time, if he couldn't figure out his homework, when most kids would go to the library to look for answers, he would just rely on what he knew. Or he would send a friend to get a book.

Bot for some reason...Kyle decided to venture into the room where he had spent so little time in in the past 7 years. What was the reason for this sudden change of heart? Well it wasn't school work that's for sure. Kyle just wanted to read up on some things.

When Kyle walked in the library he heard Madam Pince going off on somebody. And then he laughed when he realized that that somebody was his best friend, Rob. Kyle laughed even more when he saw Kyle try to threaten her with his height.

"Hey, Kyle, get your arse over here!"

Kyle dodge out of the way a of small 2nd year as he made his way to his friend. "Hey what's up?" he asked, sitting down across from him.

"Hey, i need ya help!"

"If it's with school work then you've go to be kidding me right? I don't even do my own school work, why would I help you with yours?"

"Hey what's up?" Rob knew there'd be a momentary pause between that and te objection against it. "If it's with school work then you've go to be kidding me right? I don't even do my own school work, why would I help you with yours?"

Rob burst out lauging and had to be shushed by Madame Pince and supress the actual thought of Kyle doing his own work. "Oh wait, i forgot, you get help from the brains in Gryffindor and the Ravenclaws!" he said a smirk curling on his lips as he mocked. HE looked across at a Ravenclaw and nodded, "Yeah, i reacon i could get her into doing it for me, their all willing to help... usually!" he said with another short lived laugh.

"Okay, your not gonna help me so i don't need you, bugger off. Unless you've got something Really fresh that you havn't told me about!" he said raising an eyebrow. Rob didn't mean gossip with him about the events, he simply wanted to know what was happening...

"Oh wait, i forgot, you get help from the brains in Gryffindor and the Ravenclaws!"

Kyle laughed a bit but quieted it up when Madam Pince shot him a dirty look. "Ah, well I try." Kyle had a lot of friends that were always willing to lend him a hand on his homework...and other stuff.

"Yeah, i reacon i could get her into doing it for me, their all willing to help... usually!"

Kyle glanced over at the Ravenclaw and said, "In more ways then one, if ya know what I mean." Kyle couldn't help it. He sometimes could be sort of a sult. But overall he was a great guy. He wouldn't lead a girl on just to get in her pants. And he only had one night stands if it was a mutal thing. He respected women to much to hurt one.

"Okay, your not gonna help me so i don't need you, bugger off. Unless you've got something Really fresh that you havn't told me about!"

"Well, I believe that you have something 'fresh' to tell me. I heard you and Lily broke up....what happened?"

"In more ways then one, if ya know what I mean."

Rob laughed an nodded in agreement. "Oh hell yes!" he said with a smirk folding onto his lips again. He watched the girl get up andleave and shrugged, "Well she's missing out!" he said with another laugh. He looked around the room again to look for somebody else who might be of use but it appeared to be full of 4th years and down.

"Well, I believe that you have something 'fresh' to tell me. I heard you and Lily broke up....what happened?"

Rob smiled, "Well i dunno, i got back together with Linda, once before Lily and then the other weekend, it made merealize Lily wasn't the one, it was nice, but the wasn't my type, anyway, we decided we were more like siblings than a couple, that means we can look out for eachother and fight." we he said fight he mean it like siblings would, petty rivalry etc. "But yeah, me and Lin spent the weekend together and well she asked for a break before it became anything official, but you know!" he said, finishing with a large smile as he thought of the weekend.

"Well i dunno, i got back together with Linda, once before Lily and then the other weekend, it made merealize Lily wasn't the one, it was nice, but the wasn't my type, anyway, we decided we were more like siblings than a couple, that means we can look out for eachother and fight."

"I never thought that Lily was you're type." Kyle and Lily went out a few years back. But they decided that they were better off as friends too. Plus, Kyle never really like all the drama that went along with dating Slytherins.

"But yeah, me and Lin spent the weekend together and well she asked for a break before it became anything official, but you know!"

"Well, I'm glad that you and Lin are trying to work things out. You guys were always good together."

Sometimes Kyle missed being in a relationship, but other times he loved the single life too.

"I never thought that Lily was you're type."

Rob had to laugh at this, if there was ever two people who would be able say they'd been in some strange relationships it were Rob and Kyle. They were always saying what they thought of eachothers choices etc. "Yeah, you can talk, well it was more liek she's a sister that a girlfriend material... with that sounding like incest!" he said with another laugh that made Madame Pince thorw him swift evil eyes.

"Well, I'm glad that you and Lin are trying to work things out. You guys were always good together."

Rob nodded, "I reacon you were the only person i told, so i have no idea how anybody else had found out 'bout me and Lin!" he said, he knew she told somebody but he trusted her judgment, he guessd sombody had seen them or something. Kyle had been the one person Rob had told of his new relationship with Lin back in 3rd and 4th year, it was inpossible to keep bottled up so he had to tell somebody he trusted!
