[Bryce Adams]

This was the exact reason why Bryce hated being in Europe during the winter. it was cold. she was so used to Californian winters that she had forgotten what cold really was. As she walked into the great hall she pulled her coat around her tighter and cast a slight warming spell over herself, relief rushing over her. She sighed and looked around the empty hall waiting for Danny. She sat down on one of the empty long tables and rested her chin in her hands and closed her eyes. She was going on a walk with Danny, the guy she had recently fallen for. Who would have thought!

Though he OBVIOUSLY felt something for her, doubt was filling her mind. Danny was a slytherin, a known death eater... and she was a Gryff who wouldnt take sides. Sighing she pulled her eyes open, adjusting to the dim light of the great hall. foot steps were coming from just outside the giant door and she stood up, and studied herself for a moment. she was wearing jeans, vans and an army coat. wait... who was Bryce to care what a guy thought of her?! Bryce shook the thought from her head and started off towards the door, hoping to find Danny on the other side.

[Danny Darin]

Danny left the cold dungeons and made his way up to the Great Hall. He was meeting Bryce there. Ever since he left her earlier in the corridors, he has been waiting for this moment.

Danny Darin was falling for a Gryffi. But for once, houses didn't bother him. He just had a good feeling about Bryce. He wanted things to work out. He just hoped that she felt the same way.

Danny entered the Great Hall and saw Bryce. He walked over to her and smiled, "Hi...how are you? You look nice tonight." She always looked nice though. So tonight wasn't any different.

Danny was wearing a white button down shirt with, none other then his Slytherin tie. He was wearing his Slytherin cloak and his hair was messy, but it still looked good. He sat down next to Bryce and smiled.

[Bryce Adams]

"Hi...how are you? You look nice tonight."

"hey danny." Bryce said happily as he walked into the great hall. He looked great, but then again... when did Danny Darin NOT look great?! "im doing good... better now that your here." she said laughing, but she mentally slaped herself for sounding so cheesy. "ok that sounded lame." she said with another slight laugh. "and you dont look to shabby yourself." she said with a smile, tilting her head to look at him. she slid her hand into his and stood up. "come on... lets go for our walk."

Bryce headed out of the great hall, Danny attached to her hand, the warmth between them soothing her. She was nervious, and it took ALOT to make Bryce nervious, after all she was known for her bravery. As they walked she looked over at him. He was perfect. and she knew he would deny it to the end of the earth, but for her, imperfection was the key to perfection and it made her smile. were they going to end up together? She wasnt sure, but she decided to think about the now and not worry about the future. "i have been thinking about you all day." she said softly as she pushed the doors to hogwarts open and stepped out into the cool crisp air. it took alot for her to admit that to him, and she hoped that he didnt find it strange, after all they wernt really even dating were they? Bryce had kind of started to think about them like that, not TOGETHER but dating... she wondered how he thought of her...

[Danny Darin]

"hey danny. im doing good... better now that your here. ok that sounded lame."
Danny laughed a bit and said, "Nah, it didn't sound lame. Probably because I feel the same exact way." Now Danny knew that that sounded lame. But lame and corny comments was normally the way to a girls heart. And this was one girl that Danny really wanted to get into her heart, and not just her bed.

"and you dont look to shabby yourself. come on... lets go for our walk."

"Why thank you," Danny said as he pushed his messy hair out of his face, revealing his eyes. The dark shadows that were under his eyes early that day had died down a lot. He was actually able to grab a little sleep in Charms, plus he took a short nap when classes were through. He wasn't really tired anymore, just a bit worn out. He hoped that it didn't show.

Danny followed Bryce out of the Great Hall and outside. The air was cold, but Danny, being a Slytherin and living in the Dungeons, was used to the cold by now. So it really wasn't that bad for him.

"i have been thinking about you all day."

Danny smiled as he looked over at her and said, "I've been thinking about you too." Danny knew that they weren't actually "dating" yet. They were sort of just seeing each other. But Danny wanted them to make it offical, but he didn't want to seem like he was moving too fast. Normally he wouldn't care, but he wanted to take this relationship slow. He didn't want to screw this one up. So he decided to wait for a sign from her, before actually asking her to be his girlfriend.

[Bryce Adams]

"Nah, it didn't sound lame. Probably because I feel the same exact way."

"now we both sound lame... but hey... who says that lame has to be a bad thing right?!" Bryce asked with a slight laugh. it was so strange... normally guys would have already made a move on her, normally she would have already had to push a guy away, and the guy whom most would assume would go to fast, was actually the best guy she had ever gone out with.

"Why thank you,"

"i only speak the truth." she laughed softly as he studied him for a moment. he looked alot more rested then he did eariler in the afternoon. He looked more awake and a bit happier.

"I've been thinking about you too."

"what about?" Bryce said with a slight smirk. she hoped they were good things... but if they were bad things he wouldnt have been there now would he?! She sighed slightly to herself as she pulled their bodies closer together.

[Danny Darin]

"what about?"

Danny smiled as she pulled him closer to her. "Well, all good things of course," he started. "You laugh, your smile. The way your eyes light up. The way your hair falls perfectly on your shoulders," he stopped walking and turned so his body was facing her.

"And the way I have been wanting to do something ever since I first layed eyes on you," he said softly. The moon was shinning bright overtop the two, and even though it was fairly cloudy, for that one moment it seemed like the clouds disappeared to show beautiful stars.

Danny touched her chin with his hand. Her skin was so soft. He leaned down and kissed her softly on the lips. He hoped that she didn't think that he was moving to fast. He did want to ask her, but he always felt like asking 'May I kiss you' sort of ruined the moment. And he wanted the first time he kissed her to be special. He just hoped that it was.

When he gently pulled out of the kiss he looked into her eyes and waited for her reaction. He decided that how ever she reacted to the kiss was whether or not he would take the next step and officalize their relationship.

[Bryce Adams]

Well, all good things of course," he started. "You laugh, your smile. The way your eyes light up. The way your hair falls perfectly on your shoulders,"

Bryce was blushing horribly by now and she was glad that they were next to eachother so he couldnt see. Suddenly though he stopped and turned so they were looking at eachother and she looked up into his deep eyes. He had amazing eyes, both beautiful and filled with deep emotions, it was amazing.

'And the way I have been wanting to do something ever since I first layed eyes on you,"

With that he touched her chin and kissed her. it was the most amazing kiss she had ever experienced in her life. her arms wrapped around him and as he pulled back a smile spread across her face. she didnt say a word but pulled him down again for another kiss. She had officially fallen hard for Danny Darin.

When Bryce smiled up at him, a smile spread across his own face. And when she pulled him in for another kiss his smile couldn't help but get bigger. Now....Danny had to think of an utterly romantic way to officialy ask her out. He didn't want to just do it....because then it wouldn't be something that they would remember. And he wanted them both to remember.

Danny pulled out of the kiss and looked around. Then he thought of the perfect idea. He looked back at Bryce and said, "Stay here. I'll be right back." He kissed her quickly on the check and ran down the path a little ways. Until he reached one of the larger tree on the edge of the forest. He walked around to the other side of the tree, just incase Bryce was watching him. He took out his wand, muttered a few words and pointed it at the bark of the tree.

He pocketed his wand and sprinted back to Bryce. He took her hand and said, "Follow me." He led her over to the tree and stopped. "Bryce," he said softly. "If you have ever heard anything about me, then you will know that I am not one to fall for a girl at first sight. But with you, it was different. From the second you walked into the Three Broomsticks the other night, I knew that there was something special about you." He took up her hand and continued, "And if you were any other girl, I would have been all over you by now. But the little voice in the back of my head told me to take things slow. And I am. Because I want things to work between us." A smile came upon his face and he said, "Now, I think this tree here has something to ask you."

Danny led her to the other side of the tree. He stood behind her and wrapped his arms around her as he pointed to the bark of the tree. Etched in the side, were these words;

Byrce Adams, will you do me the honor of becoming my girlfriend?

[Bryce Adams]

Bryce had never felt so at home before. Their lips against eachother had to be the best feeling she had ever experienced. Finally he pulled away for the second time and she blushed even harder at the wide smile across his face. The only thing was he looked kind of... confused... like he was thinking hard.

'uh oh' she thought to herself as he spoke. "Stay here. I'll be right back."... "ok." she said with a slight pause. what if he didnt like the kiss?! but the smile had told her other wise. she watched intently as he walked over to a tree. she let out a happy sigh, at least he didnt take off to the castle or something. Bryce continued to study him but as he tried to hide what he was doing, she studied her shoes. her hands slid into her pockets and she rocked back and forth for a moment untill he returned.

"Follow me."

Bryce took his hand and did what he said, walking with him to the tree he had just been at. She couldnt see anything speacial about the tree but she let him talk.

"Bryce, If you have ever heard anything about me, then you will know that I am not one to fall for a girl at first sight. But with you, it was different. From the second you walked into the Three Broomsticks the other night, I knew that there was something special about you."

Bryce couldnt help but smile. No one had ever been that sweet or romantic to her in her life. She looked into his eyes again and was almost drawn into them. "i felt the same way Danny..." she admitted tilting her head to the side to look at him with a slight blush to her cheeks.

[/I]"And if you were any other girl, I would have been all over you by now. But the little voice in the back of my head told me to take things slow. And I am. Because I want things to work between us."

Bryce nodded. after she met him, she did a little asking around, especially from Raz whom she knew was his fellow slytherin male. she had heard stories but the way he acted was totaly different from what she was told. He was the nicest guy she had ever met and unlike the stories he didnt force himself on her or ANYTHING like that.

"Now, I think this tree here has something to ask you." [I]

Bryce knew what 'the tree was going to ask' and her stomach flipped as she read it. A smile wider then ever passed across her face. "yes Danny... ill be your girlfriend." she smiled as she turned around and kissed him softly on the lips, holding their bodies closer together.

[Danny Darin]

"yes Danny... ill be your girlfriend."

Danny couldn't hide his happiness. Nor did he want to. She said yes. They were officialy together. For a split second his mind wondered what his friends would say when they found out he was with a Gryffie. But he quickly pushed that thought out of his mind, because he didn't care. He wasn't going to let house riveraly ruin this relationship. And he wasn't going to let his own stupidity ruin it either.

When Bryce kissed Danny again, everything was pushed out his mind, except for the two of them. They were together and that was all that mattered right now. He brought one of his hands up to the back of her head and the other to her waist. He pulled out of the kiss and said, "You just made me the happiest man alive." Then he went back in for yet another kiss.

[Bryce Adams]

Bryce was now in her first real relationship... ever. Wow that sounded strange, but it was true. there had been other guys in her life, dates and make out sessions but all of them liked her 'as a friend' and would go back to their easy put out girlfriends. she sighed happily as they kissed again, their lips fitting together perfectly. As they touched, every thing melted away. all her thoughts of house divisions and what everyone would think left her mind at once.

"You just made me the happiest man alive."

"i am glad im good for something." she laughed softly, kissing him yet again. now that they were together she got to kiss those amazing lips as much as possible... "you want to know a secret?" she wispered into his ear then pulling back and looking into his eyes.

[Danny Darin]

"i am glad im good for something."

Danny laughed as she kissed him again. Most of the time, when he got into a new relationship, a shadow of doubt hung over his head. But this time, there was no shadow. Something just told him that this was going to work.

Normally it was that shadow of doubt that made him cheat or screw up. But since the shadow wasn't there this time, he knew that he wouldn't do anything stupid to ruin this.

"you want to know a secret?"

Danny smiled and softly said, "Sure."

Bryce held him close and rested her head against his chest. She rested her head against her boyfriend's chest. wow it was strange to think. She took a deep breath, taking in his scent. he smelled so amazing and it calmed every nerve in her body. they were going to be together for a long time, she could feel it, well hopefully.

"Sure."

She sighed again. "you are my first boyfriend." she informed him, glancing up into Danny's eyes from her spot on his chest. she kissed him through his shirt and rested her head back down waiting for a responce.

[Danny Darin]

"you are my first boyfriend."

Danny's eyes went wide and hiw eyebrows went up. He couldn't believe it. "You kidding me right?" He looked down at her and continued, "There's no way that someone as great as you could have stayed single for this long."

He didn't mind that he was her first boyfriend. That meant that if they stayed together that he would be her first. He had been a lot of girls first. He actually enjoyed being the first. Because that meant that he could go all out and make it special for the girl. He knew how much it meant to most girls to have their first time being something that they could remember. And if Danny stayed with Bryce, as he planned on doing, he would make her first time something that she could never forget.

Danny leaned down a bit and kissed the top of her head. He glanced back down at the tree and smiled. He then took Bryce's hand and said, "How bout we finish that walk?"

[Odessa duBois]

"no im not kidding... i was just waiting for the right guy. i mean sure i have been asked, but usually guys like to play around and leave me for their old bimbos." she said sadly, though now she had a boyfriend whom she cared about and was happy.

Bryce leaned up and kissed him one more time before he spoke.

"How bout we finish that walk?"

"sounds good." she said, holding tight to his hand as they started walking away from the tree... their tree. As they walked she looked up at Bryce... "your friends arnt going to care that im a gryff are they?" she asked him cautiously.
