OK so I was trying to work out how many copies of the s/t were released on the orange vinyl (2,000 in case you can't remember, now whether or not that includes the ones I have seen not signed is another story) i happened upon the old speedhorn histury pages from ragingspeedhorn.co.uk (http://www.ragingspeedhorn.co.uk/new/history.htm) yes John (or whoever) still pays for the hosting and the URL.

Anyway according to that page the free show in the Garage in August 2000 was:
"recorded and filmed for posterity, and the crowd is treated to one of the band's strongest shows yet"

Anyone know what happened to this? If I see Gareth at The Victims show in May I could pester him.

Also as sad as this seems I am trying to track down the 10 track version of the s/t on CD, how unlikely is that? I got the Japanese tour edition of the new album too it's quite nice slightly better than the UK/Ireland version.

Bloody Kev says that Before The Sea Was Built should get a vinyl release in the future :-)

There should be some kind of final release, I would love a live DVD or so.

My first copy of the s/t was bought early 2001 BUT was the LP version so has 10 tracks I didn't buy the CD version till later in the year i.e. after The Gush had been released and slapped on the end of the album to make 11 tracks. Just want the 10 track version for completeness (I just bought my second copy of the album on the orange vinyl, yes I have a problem)

After a quick fact check I can confirm that I bought the s/t on vinyl on the 15th of December 2000, their 2nd ever Dublin date (the first wasn't too much before that and was meant to go to it), so relatively n00b for you lot but not as if they toured here too much (a lot compared to other UK bands)

Just realised again that we are talking about a now defunct band, WTF like?

Reform petition starts here tongue.gif

In the UK it was Charger and Amen when it got to Ireland they had ditched both and it was just them and local support (Pin in Dublin).

They did come back in February 2001 with Amen and Charger to just play 3 Irish dates, that was animal, Charger were amazing, RSH were on fire and Amen were at their best that is still the best lineup I have ever seen.

I wish I could have afforded to stalk THAT tour. Seriously Amen on their first two albums, RSH with just the debut and Charger with only the Fuzzbastard EP (the original version at that) blinding,

Actually I just looked at Metal Archives has Charger's discography as:
Haul Ass- 1998
Foul Year Of Our Lord - 2000
Fuzzbastard - 2002

OK I know Fuzzbastard got a re-release but I'm, almost 100% sure that I bought Foul Year when it was released in 2001 because all they had available at the Amen dates for sale was the original Fuzzbastard. Can anyone double check their copy of Foul Year? Mine is in Dublin, also anyone have a copy of Haul Ass? That's the type of thing Ian might have *scurries off to check the highly unlikely chance eBay has a copy*

I think if it was gonna come out, it would have by now. They should "leak" it onto bittorrent.... not that I use that. unsure.gif

So, I've found a guy who ideally has a "Raging Speedhorn - Live@Dour 2003' video biggrin.gif
He has a lot of good stuff: http://bootlegs.2page.de/
I try to get this one and then I'll write as soon as I got it. thumbsup.gif
