Yea I actually don't know what game to get because mw3 is going to charge for extra features which makes me hate cod as well

Battlefield has disappointed me in every single game that comes out so I really don't know what to expect

First off, from what I understand, you don't have to pay for the extra features unless you want to be a part of the "Elite" community with leagues and tournaments and some other stuff. You can play MW3 the same way you have always played it without any extra charge, so don't sweat the whole elite thing.

About Battlefield, I know you are not talking about BF2 Modern Combat when you say you have been disappointed with every game. Yes, the 2 Bad Company games were a disappointment but that's it. BF3 is the actual sequel to the greatest online shooter of all time - BF2. So from what I have heard so far from players in the early beta, it is simply amazing!!!

So I just found that if you purchase the harden edition of cod mw3 you get all the map packs free, which I think it's a great deal because eventually I will be buying them any ways. I'm not sure wether to buy the harden edition or not. Who's is getting the harden edition??

Does anyone know how the CLAN XP BOOST is going to work with the hardened edition. I can't find what it will take to earn the double XP. But, I'm with DeFaMe. If you buy the map packs anyway, you're going to save money with the hardened edition in the long run.

I think it comes with the Elite Membership. I think the CLAN XP BOOST is with regards to playing in battles and stuff via the COD website:

From a monetary standpoint, it just makes sense to get the Hardened Edition. You get the future DLCs for free, and you get a year's worth of the COD ELITE Membership.

Either,
Hardened Edition for $100 or
MW3 for $60, Elite Membership for $50, & DLCs for $30-$45.

I would rather pay $100 once than $150 spread out over time.

Also, Ramius is correct, the Elite Membership only gives you access to more features that don't actually do much. They are more like gun camos, or emblems, or features on a website. It's not like the ELITE Members will have better guns or different perks than everyone else.
