River, you have to complete missions and go through the game before it will open up the other parts of the map. I now have the whole map open.

Wait until you complete a mission and come out of a building that is surrounded by cops and you have a 4 or 5 star rating!! Thats when it gets fun.

Y'all are nuts, i LOVE the multi player!!! I think it's fun as hell!! And i played a game of all the game modes, and it's a blast! Y'all are tooo use to your FPS!! Get away from your little security blanket and play outside the box a bit you pussies!

It is good to broaden our horizons. I think that just playing this game is a step for me. BUT, the multiplayer portion does suck. It seems like you are running around trying to find and accumulate weapons instead of accomplishing anything. Currently my PS3 is having problems while playing GTA 4 and getting online at the same time. Whenever I login to the PSN and then go into the game, everything freezes. Not sure what the problem is, but I currently don't really care because I don't want to play the multiplayer portion anyway.


P.S.: I hate driving a motorcycle!!! Especially when you have to shoot someone at the same time.......

The multiplayer concept of this game is great. If this game had clan support, we would do really well against the opp. You gotta open your views have some variety if not everything will be boring for you. Sure its really different but it provides a shift that is just a all out fuck people up fest with your fists, weapons etc. Anyhow I ll be playing this for a good while till battlefield comes out or something we all will be playing.

I tried to kill Carmen but the game wouldn't let me! I set this shit up perfectly. I picked her whiney ass up in a pos; I took her bowling (which she hates); I then took her to a secluded spot with the grim intentions of murdering her in cold blood. I shotgunned her ass and she got up! It skipped to a cutscene where she freaked and ran off. I think next time I'll drive her ass into the river (no pun intended). How am I supposed to be an internet stalker if the game won't let me kill the women? suicide

River keep her in the car and shoot a rocket at her or you could also tried to sucide your self with her. the true stalker neever gives up.

There is a gas station near the safe house...under the highway! If you speed up and dive out of the car at the perfect time......

Yeah I have beat the game with both endings, Single player mode rocks!!!

Ok, I'm stuck. I'm in my boat chasing Dmitry in his helicopter and Lil Jacob is trying to pick me up in his helicopter. I've tried numerous times to get to Jacob's helicopter, but he pulls away just as I get there. Am I missing something or is it just getting the timing right?

Well if you are going that route all i can say is go fast and now you know where to be get there, don't worry about the rockets they will not hit you, so make a bee line to the pick up point!!!

Well, I got on the chopper once, but Dmitry still got away as I got tangled up in the city buildings. I've played this mission so many times I'm about to give up and sell the damn game! pull my hair out

He is going to statue of liberty, fly kinda high, and to the island he will shoot you down, but so will you to him.

I went back and killed Dmitry an am now trying to chase down Pegorino on a motorcycle. I've tried three times now and hardly make it to the bike before he escapes. I'll keep trying, but am getting tired of running across Alderney listening to Niko's banter over and over. I've gotten to the point where I'm muting the sound when driving across town chasing after Pegorino's men. Doesn't look like I'll be able to move on in the game until I beat this 'mission'.

Holy crap! I finished off Pegorino and that was it? I could have sworn I was only 65% through the game. Oh well. What's next? I guess it is back to creating havoc on the streets!
