Reports are saying heater will be a ranger tonite. I just want to see what the deal will end up being. Id love it if we kept mcdonagh but we shall see. With the cap space though, why give out a big package for heatley when you can now just sign hossa or gabby and give up nothing?

Despite Gomez' cap hit, he still is better than anyone you guys have at C right now..especially with koivu looking like he wont be back. Gomez is a much better option than plekanec.
