satoshi is a young-looking, adorable little boy. well, actually, he's a teenager. hard to believe? well yes, i know. satoshi is usually always seen with his trademark hat; i personally think it's getting a little old.. you like what you like, though.

satoshi has been confused for an eight-year-old, if not younger, many, many times. why? well, think about it. he's only like, 4 feet and ten inches. his face literally has the appearance of an eight-year-old.

he'll always have this same blue jacket on, unless he's washing it, or something. At times, he'll even leave it open, which then shows a black t-shirt. yeah, that's it, a plain black t-shirt. he also wears blue jeans, and a belt. very plain outfit.

Hometown: masara town[pallet town]. ~ kanto region.

Satoshi grew up in Pallet Town, the son of Hanako. He was neighbors with Shigeru and later became best friends with him. Satoshi was the adventurous kid. He loved spending his time outside and as soon as he saw a poster with Lance and his dragon pokemon, he knew what he wanted to be. A pokemon master! One day he and his friend Shigeru were fishing. Satoshi yelped as he felt a tug on his line. He flung the pole out of the water and out flew a pokeball. Satoshi and Shigeru both wanted it. However, it hit the ground and shattered into two pieces.

This became the end of their friendship and the beginning of their rivalry. The two boys each picked up a piece of the pokeball and stuffed it away in their pockets. Satoshi walked away, no longer speaking to Shigeru. Satoshi and Shigeru were true rivals. When it came down to eating, running, or even sleeping the two boys would compete. Finally, Satoshi turned ten. Tomorrow, he was going to get his pokemon. Satoshi looked at the poster he had on his wall. It had a picture of Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur. He wanted to get a Squirtle! Satoshi hopped into his bed and fell asleep only to find out..

He had overslept! He scrambled out of bed and put his clothes on as fast as he could. He ran down to Professor Yukinari[Oak]'s lab, only to find out. All the starters had been given out. And guess who took the last Squirtle? Shigeru. Shigeru have his cackle to Satoshi. He bragged about how Satoshi was a loser, for oversleeping on such an important day. With that, Shigeru left Pallet Town with his Squirtle and his cheerleaders. Oh how that pissed Satoshi off. He was left with a highly untamed, Pikachu.

Working with Pikachu was a living hell. He kept getting shocked. Only did Satoshi finally get the brains to buy rubber gloves. Satoshi had no idea what to do with it. He tried to talk to Pikachu, but nothing happened. Pikachu left him in the dirt when he was hurt. Despite this, Satoshi ran off to a Pokemon Center when Pikachu got hurt. He even had to steal a girl's bicycle to get their faster.

The girl's name was Kasumi. She apparently was the youngest sister of the gym leaders in Cerulean City. Satoshi was disappointed to find out that he could not battle her until he got the Boulder Badge in Pewter City. Satoshi apologized to Kasumi for breaking her bike and promised to pay her back. However, Kasumi did not buy this cheap act and decided to travel with him.

Later on, Kasumi and Satoshi made it to Pewter City. The gym leader's name was Takeshi. Despite Pikachu having an element weakness, Pikachu had set off the water sprinkles and that defeated Takeshi's ground and rock pokemon. Surprised by this win, Satoshi and Pikachu yelped in awe as they were handed the Boulder Badge. Little did Satoshi know that Takeshi wanted to go with him and Kasumi on their journey.

As such, the trio left and traveled all around the pokemon world. Satoshi briefly saw Shigeru for the first time in almost a year. He was amazed at Shigeru had all the badges, and wanted another one. He had battled Giovanni. However, Giovanni sent out a large legendary pokemon. Mewtwo, is what he called it. Shigeru lost, but this didn't bother him to Satoshi's disappointment.

When Satoshi went to challenge the Pokemon League, he saw Shigeru run out the doors. Only until Satoshi investigate, did he find out that Shigeru had lost. Very quickly too. At first, Satoshi was happy that Shigeru had lost! To end all of his stupid cocky attitude. Then.. Satoshi felt angry. He wanted to destroy whoever made Shigeru upset. He didn't know why he felt upset when Shigeru was upset, but he didn't defeat the Pokemon League.

Shigeru had apparently went back to Pallet Town. When Shigeru was leaving Pallet Town after visiting his mom to go to Johto, he bumped into Shigeru. Satoshi was surprised, he was a different person. They battled for fun and Satoshi had lost! Satoshi gave Shigeru a smile as they both left for Johto.

In the Johto region, Satoshi was reunited with Takeshi who had returned from visiting Professor Ivy. He caught a Chikorita and trained it along with a number of pokemon. In the Johto League, Satoshi won the Whirlpool Cup and got his eight Johto gym badges. He was ready to go to Mt. Silver and challenge the Johto League. Like in the Indigo League, Satoshi defeated a lot of trainers. During the Silver Conference, he even defeated Shigeru with his Charizard.

Satoshi left to the Hoenn Region and said goodbye to Kasumi. She wanted to return back to her sisters in Cerulean City, along with her Togepi. Satoshi met a girl named Haruka and her little brother Masato. They traveled Hoenn together and Satoshi got all his badges and challenged the Battle Frontier, where he won all of his symbols.

He briefly bumped into Kasumi, but it was short as he left Kasumi, Haruka, and Masato back in Hoenn. Haruka wanted to go to Johto alone and Masato went back home and Takeshi went back to Pewter City. It was Satoshi and Pikachu, again. When they were leaving to Sinnoh, they bumped into Shigeru. He looked.. very mature. Satoshi was surprised to see him and the fact that he wanted to be a Pokemon Researcher and no longer striving to be a Pokemon Master. The two teenagers battled and again, Satoshi lost to Shigeru's Electivire.

Satoshi met a girl named Hikari in Sinnoh and met up with Takeshi again. They received all the badges in Sinnoh and this time, Satoshi left by himself to Pachinko. He always traveled with people. This time he wanted to do it by himself. When he traveled via ferry to Pachinko.. he felt as if he missed Shigeru. What was wrong with him? Why were these thoughts just out of nowhere? He hoped to see Shigeru in Pachinko.
