I’m sorry this took so long to make...
I can make up excuses and such, but I was just lazy.
Well, anyway:
Part 10: Mountains!
Mt. Faraway[S].
How to get: Beat Northwind Field Floors: 40
Special things: Auto-save before enter. Need HM Surf to get in.
Level advised: about 39.
Description: The dungeon itself isn’t very hard, ‘tis the boss that is annoying.
Try to get your IQ very high, so you learn the Trap Seer skill.
This negates the effects of traps when you step on them the first time.
Otherwise, the high amount of traps will get annoying very quickly.
You should also bring some extra food with you. The only thing you find there are seeds(at least, I do). You don’t want to end up like me, eating Blast Seeds to have something in my belly.
You’d better bring an Elixer with you, so you have some attacks left for Ho-Oh.
Snorunt can use Icy Wind, which can slow you down. And also, Hitmonchan can use Agility, which speeds your enemies up, so they can hit you in a quicker pace.
Beware of Lunatone’s Hypnosis, sleeping isn’t allowed now.
At 10F, the music and the tiles change. The music is from the Top of Mt. Thunder.
Try to find useful seeds to help you against the boss. Good examples are e.g the Sleep Seed and the Totter Seed.
Watch out for Monster Houses(I just got caught in one), they make you lose PP and HP.
Try to get in a corridor, so you can take them all one on one.
Around 20F, there are Parasect, which means Stun Spore. Try to OHKO them, or else you might suffer with a status condition. Also watch out for their Effect Spore ability.
At 21F, the music and tiles once again change, the music is that from the Frosty Forest.
At 25F, you can find Castform. When you approach it, it will summon some random weather, then it’ll transform, and attack you.
They also give a hell lotta Exp, about 1100! And they’re quite rare.
At 30F, you can find the elusive Friend Ribbon, a hold item that increases your recruit rate with 10%
If you want to recruit Mew, this one is a must.
However, you need a key to unseal the room it’s in.
At 30F the music and tiles change too, the music from Mt. Freeze.
Watch out for Dugtrio’s Magnetude and Dig attacks.
Both are very annoying. You can counter Dig with a Fly or Bounce attack.
You can find Kecleon Stalls here too, useful for getting some food, and Reviver seeds.
When you’ve cleared the 39th Floor, you will find yourself on the peak of Mt. Faraway.
Ho-Oh congratulates you on getting this far, but it says ‘Only when you overcome me in battle...That is when this mountain is conquered! This is the final challenge!’
And now, you have to beat the Mirage Pokémon.
Use the seeds you collected before to get him asleep/paralyzed/blind/whatever.
Then, attack with strong attacks.
Watch out for Ho-Oh’s Pressure though.
Well, if you’ve beaten it, congrats!
When you are back in town, go see Spinda.
It says you’ve opened it’s eyes to go traveling again. Then, Spinda leaves.
Northern Range[S].
How to get: Have Friend Area Southern island, have Surf from Solar cave. Floors: 25
Special things: The event with Latios will start after you have fullfilled the criteria.
Level advised: about 37
Description:
Again, easy Dungeon, harder Boss.
Lots of traps too.
Watch out for Jumpluff’s Sleep Powder.
Stock up some food at the Kecleon Stall, if you are lucky enough to find it.
Most Pokémon in this dungeon are first-stage, and easy to defeat.
Beware of Jumpluff, they have Cotton Spore, which slows you down.
Interesting Seeds are found here too, like the Hunger seed. If you throw it at an enemy, it won’t be able to move anymore! It can still attack though
Thanks to a Spinarak’s Night Shade, I determined the avarage level of the wild Pokémon in this dungeon.
It’s about 34.
You don’t need to bring Max Elixers here, you can find enough at the ground.
Also, you can find Orbs here, while at Mt. Faraway, you can’t find those at all.
At the 14th floor, you can find Xatu!
Since Xatu is one of my team members, I became quite confused

Several Weather conditions can occur here too, such as Sandstorms.
Togetic, which are found after 18F, have an useless attack: Follow Me.
When a Togetic uses it, it turns into a Decoy, which can be attacked by wild Pokémon.
Useful huh? Only, you can’t attack them.
After you’ve cleared the 24th Floor, you see Latios and you on some platform.
It says: “If you really want your TMs back, you have to take them from me!”
Note that Latios has the Levitate ability, Ground type attaks won’t inflict any damage.
After you’ve beaten him, he asks you to let him go. He says something about his little sister, tries to fly away, but crashes.
When you’re back in Town again, Latios wakes up.
He again tries to get to his sister, but crashes again.
Latios says that Latias(his sister) crashed in Pitfall Valley
A meteorite crashed on her wing, and she tumbled to her doom there.
Some more talking, and you gained acces to Pitfall Valley
I’m TERRBIBLY sorry that this took so long, and that this doesn’t include the Buried Relic.
Please forgive me for being so lazy.
