Does this site have an IRC channel?

IRC??? i'm not sure what that is.....what does it stand for? We might....

it is a chat room system that uses clients to create rooms to discuss in. There are lots of options in an IRC room, so it is pretty popular. If you do make an IRC room I reccomend making in on Rizon. Rizon has a lot of anime based rooms.

Okay, I set up and registered the channel. The channel is #Iroko and it is on irc.rizon.net servers.

To get to it you need a client such as mIRC or IceChat. I use IceChat because it is free. mIRC is shareware and asks that you only use it for a month and then pay (I hear you can keep using after the 30 days though). You can get IceChat here: http://www.icechat.net/site/
I reccomend version 5.5 of IceChat because i am sure it works =P

So, if you want, you can download a client and install it onto your computer. When it is installed, open it and go to the top where File or Main is. Under that there should be an option to connect. When you do that it will ask for some things, like which server etc. You should enter irc.rizon.net in the server. Next click connect and wait for a couple seconds untill you connect. Then in the text bar at the bottom, type /j iroko
or /join #iroko
either should work.

If you get lots of people the channel should help to coordinate things. Also it is good for quick meetings etc.
