I'm getting new internet for my new place but I'm not sure what internet provider to go with. Any suggestions about which one to choose? I'm lookin' for the fastest at a reasonable price (below 50$)

We use AT&T and it's really great - but it always depends on where you are I think. I guess the best way to ask is people in your area =/, when I was in canada this dudes house had such good internet, but I'd never heard of the provider, don't think we can get it haha. sucks.

why stay away from comcast? so many people use it.
Sometimes comcast is the only provider for certain people, so they're left with no choice. In any case, I've heard nothing but bad things from customers of comcast. Nothing.

Comcast is great, however, if a crap load of people around u use comcast, during peek hours, your internet connection is gunna suck big hairy combs of hair.

Comcast is expensive and charges you more money just for having it be wireless. It's $42 for me if it's normal high speed, but it goes to $60 if I use a wireless router. WTHECK!?
I'd say Roadrunner isn't bad. The one i have currently sucks (it's called ClearWire).
