welcome
Pick up the Pieces takes place one year after the events on Alcatraz Island. Time has shown the Cure to be a phony and the cured mutants have begun to regain their powers.
A new, rival school to Xavier's has opened its doors to the world, indicating a shift in the tides of war...and even more disturbing is the fact that mutants once thought to be dead are alive.
Peace will not last, so the question now becomes what will you do now that the shit's about to hit the fan?

I was wondering if I could change Catseye's affiliation as it says she's a member of the Brotherhood but would probably do better in the Hellfire club. If this is a problem I can change it I just wanted to know! Thanks!
Full Name: Sharon Smith Nicknames: Miss Smith Codename: Catseye Age: 21 Affiliation: Hellfire Club Status: English Tutor at Frost Academy/Student Mentor
Member Title: Catseye stay! Happy place!
Physical Description: Catseye, despite being raised on the streets, is very pretty. She is medium height, about five six, and skinny with long arms and legs. She is very awkward in her human form and walks clumsily when she’s like this. Catseye has shoulder length fluffy hair that is a pretty shade of violet. Her eyes, however, remain feline even in her human form and are yellow. Her skin is quite pale and always in her human form she has a tail. She doesn’t understand human clothing standard and prefers to wear what she deems appropriate and pretty, sometimes wearing rather provocative outfits or things that don’t go together very well. Around her neck is always a cat collar with a bell. As a cat, Catseye can go one of two ways. Her first form is that of a large skinny house cat with hands. Her hair remains fluffy around her neck when she is in her cat form. The second form is that of a lioness/panther like cat. She is violet in both of these forms.

Personality: Catseye is very intelligent, possessing a photographic memory and the ability to grasp concepts very quickly. She can also sense when she’s being lied to which makes her a hard teacher to tell a fib to. She was raised on the street so she speaks in broken English and has a tough time learning cultural and social concepts. She’s often quite blunt with people and she is very honest. She doesn’t lie because she doesn’t know how to and she can be quite naive. Because she was raised by cats, Catseye sees her human form as ugly and is very insecure about her appearance and especially around men. She struggles with identity issues, still truly believing that she is a cat with the mutant ability to turn into a human. She can be quite judgmental when her instincts call for it. But she is a very playful person and enjoys running and joking around. She’s a free spirit in every sense of the word and she loves to show off.
Power Description: Most mutations develop at puberty but Catseye’s developed at birth. She has the ability to take the form of a panther like cat and a housecat. Her housecat form has human hands. She has heightened senses as well as a healing factor. She retains most of her feline appearances when she is a human, like a tail and slited pupils. She’s very agile and very strong as well.
Family: Unknown
History: Catseye’s life started out rough. Being a mutant at birth caused her parents to discard her. She was raised by stray cats who took the young mutant in as a part of their family. Catseye grew feral and stole to survive on the streets, realizing that despite her catlike appearance, she was different from her adoptive family. But she made the best of it. When Catseye was fifteen, she was found by then Hellfire member, Emma Frost. Emma was appalled at the cruelty that the young girl had suffered and convinced the Hellfire club to allow the girl to follow them around as a student, naming the girl Sharon Smith and codenaming her Catseye. This was before the Academy was open. While with the Hellfire Club, Catseye learned to read and learned quickly under the tutelage of Miss Frost. She followed around the Hellfire Club members and learned human costumes, though she preferred to run around in her cat form. Catseye left Miss Frost’s side when she turned eighteen. She was too embarrassed to attend college so she wandered around trying to find where she belonged. She wanted to help other mutants like her, ones that their parents had abandoned them. Catseye found the Xavier institute for Higher Learning but found it abandoned after the students had been evacuated. She then made her way to the city and found work as a waitress in a diner. She made a good earning but while her evenings were spent with people her days were spent with cats at the ASPCA. Catseye was angered by the news of the cure. She hated the idea that her cat part may be taken away from her, as she had learned from Miss Frost that she was not a cat-human but a human-cat. She left her job and her feline friends at the ASPCA and tried to join Magneto’s brotherhood of mutants. She wanted to help his cause, not only to help others, but because she thought this is what Miss Frost would want. She was seen as naive and clumsy by most of the brotherhood members and when they went to Los Angeles, she was left behind. Saddened by this abandonment, Catseye crawled back to Emma Frost and the Hellfire club. She wept and told Miss Frost that she just wanted to help but Magneto rejected her for being weak. Miss Frost took her back as a staff member of the school, teaching children what Frost had taught her; to respect herself and her powers.
Can you post at least twice a week? Anyone who's talked to Kevin knows I can ;-) Do you play any other character on the site? Who?: Kevin Ford Passwords (if you're new here):
