Full Name: Emma Grace Frost
Nicknames: None
Codename: White Queen
Age: 29
Affiliation: Hellfire Club
Status: Headmistress of Frost Academy/ Hellfire Club member (part-time professor if she has time)
Member Title: Is the HBIC--don’t you forget it
Physical Description: Emma is attractive—and she isn’t one to hide the fact that she knows it. If she didn’t seem so frosty and unapproachable she’d be beautiful—and if you are the type of person who enjoys a challenge she probably is. She’s no stranger to wealth and her wardrobe often reflects this fact—her style can be described in two words elegant and practical. A true test of a seasoned fashionista can be shown in the way that one can mix chic with functional—and do in flawlessly.
As far as appearances go—Emma tends to be no nonsense. Her white-blonde hair can most often be seen sporting a sleek straight look—though she has been known to through it up into a regal bun if the situation calls for it. Her eyes are a vibrant shade of glacial blue, which seems to fit her personality perfectly. She’s small framed, lithe, but don’t let appearances fool you—the women is a well seasoned fighter and only the really foolish dare to battle wits with her—fighting of course is out of the question given what she can do.

Personality: Emma has a reputation that precedes her—she doesn’t need to throw her weight around of flaunt her powers. Actions speak louder than words and as far as headmistresses go she isn’t very benevolent unless there is good reason to be. Sure she can be charming, sweet, even motherly—but by nature she’d rather not. She doesn’t claim to be like her counter part Xaiver and no one who comes to the school expects to be caudled—they expect to be molded into the best, a goal--as lofty as it seems--seems almost possible with Emma at the helm.
She is not known for enjoying the company of many students save a select few who seem to be the elite of the elite. Though she has an affinity for molding minds so it is not unusual to catch her teaching a class or two at the Frost Academy—although count on them being fairly advanced, and very selective.
Emma is organized—can be accused of being too clam in times of stress and has been known to be passive aggressive at times. Of course Emma herself isn’t passive—nor is how she chooses to exact revenge and dole out punishment—she won’t make overly dramatic speeches, she doesn’t do second chances—if you mess up and it catches her attention her action with be swift and merciless—if you are lucky it will only result in a touch on the forehead and some mind numbing pain—if you’re not you might just wind up in a coma.
She can be found most often alone contemplating small and large details of the school—or training with fellow members of Hellfire. If you are a member and someone she deems as worthy—you could find yourself as having a good friend if not don’t bother…there is no in-between with Emma—you either like her or you don’t and she’ll either speak to you or she won’t.
Power Description: Emma has a multitude of telekinetic powers. She can read minds, project her thoughts into the minds of others, sent out psionic bolts which are able to effect a victim’s mind which can either cause them sever mental pain—or knock them unconscious. She also has the ability to cause mental pain merely by touching the brow of someome. Frost can telepathically "sedate" her opponents so that, if already rendered unconscious, they remain so for as long as she continues to keep them that way. If she concentrates hard enough she is even able to do this to those who are already awake—though it takes extreme focus and is often impractical to use in a fight.
A continued mutation later on in Emma’s life allows her to transform her skin and hair into a diamond-hard form at will. In this form, Emma is nearly indestructible except for one small flaw that, if exploited, can cause her to shatter. While in the diamond form, her telepathic abilities are dampened.
Additional AbilitiesEmma is extremely adept in the area of electronic theory and electronics and has learned how to build devices that can amplify psionic energy and utilize psionic energy for various effects. Although she has little time to tinker with these side projects in-between her work at the Academy and in Hellfire. She has taught a few classes on the subject—but due to lack of interest and lack of free time she no longer offers the course.
Family:Winston Frost (father), Hazel Frost (mother), Cordelia Frost (sister), Adrienne Frost (sister, deceased), Christian Frost (brother), Steven ( brother-in-law, deceased), Jocasta (cousin)
History: Emma was born into money—very old, very well established money. The middle child of three sisters and an older brother—she had to hold her own at a very young age. Of course it never seemed like Emma Frost was the type that lacked leadership abilities—and this was plain to see even at a young age. Her parents—recently moved over from England were adamant their children be brought up fluent in the customs, cultures and manners of high society. Many a summer the children would forgo childhood revelry outdoors to study with foreign language tutors, math tutors, and business tutors over the long summer months.
No child ever set foot in a school that wasn’t highly sought after and terribly elitists—though being a Frost granted automatic entry in most cases—and for the rare few that didn’t donating a very large charitably sum of money fixed that. Even though it would have seemed all children grow up fed by a silver-spoon none ever seemed to show signs of entitlement—as if the need to succeed with their own abilities was so deeply ingrained in them there was simply no other way to operate. Or so it seemed—but Christian Emma’s eldest brother proved the theory wrong when in his early teens turned to a life of drug abuse to escape the dull drudgery of his everyday life.
Naturally this caused their father to summarily disown him—a decision most seemed unaffected by either way. It was around the time of puberty—that unbeknownst to their parents all three frost sisters developed psychic abilities—all of varying degrees and forms. Shortly after this Emma began to excel scholastically even more than previous years, including small business ventures she explored at a high school student.
As their father aged—and the girls were well into their college educations he decided to name his successor to the family business. It was assumed that since Adrienne was the eldest that she would have been named—but surprisingly…or perhaps not surprisingly he chose Emma instead. An offer she quickly declined—having ambitions of her own, and not to mention a keen desire to strike out her own path in life—she suggested Adrienne in her stead and her father agreed.
Emma went on to make quite a name for herself—excelling in the area of Electronics and newly developing technology—she graduated with a Ph D at a very young age—partly due to her nature talents, and formidable intelligence and partly do to the use of her powers. She moved quickly up the ladder at one of the world’s most leading company’s in the area of science and technology development—and by the age 26 she was named the company’s new Chairman of the Board.
Life was good—and Emma despite her youth managed to amass a small fortune while at the company’s helm. That was of course before the Liberty incident—before the mutant scare had people whispering rumors behind her back about how exactly she got to where she was. Of course she was never one to show fear or back down from anything she put on a brave face and continued business as usual.
The “headache,” that was felt around the world was another story entirely—and soon rumors became accusations, accusations became threats into background checks, background checks might have lead to the uncovering of what she really was. A risk she was unwilling to take—so gracefully she stepped down, and appointed a trusted second in command to resume her duties—claiming that big business was not the only thing she felt she needed to do in this life—create more opportunities, do something for the benefit of others---and whatever other sweet nothings she could think to say to appease the suspicious eyes.
Of course building a school was the last thing she had in mind at the time—it was only natural that the construction came about. What with the amount of students being pulled into the Xaiver Institute—Emma felt it her duty to create a school for the truly “gifted,” and thus the Frost Academy was born. It wasn’t until the actual building of the school came that she was approached by the Hellfire club—something that she heard of by name, but knew little of herself. She shared the club’s ideals and found herself working in tandem with it’s leaders to hand craft both a school and a secret base of operations for the club. The move granted her a respectable place within the rank and the White Queen was born.
With the creation of the infamous “Cure,” Emma and fellow members of Hellfire doubled their efforts to attract the best and brightest of burgeoning mutants into the Academy—promising protection and the chance to become truly superior. It seems to be working and drawing in new face and new powers everyday—though this could be due to an even greater threat…something that is often talked about in hushed tones…something called Sentinels.
