Fun-Plots, those quirky threads that need players

Alright, so the other sub-plot list just seems sooo major. I figure we need another sub-plot list just for people who just want to get people in their groups together for like...a mall excursion, a training session, or good old fun like a Barbecue. Something that doesn't effect a whole lot of people on the board but is very important to get the word across. So...to kick off this list I give you....

Fun-Plot #1
Poker Night at the X-Mansion

Yes, guys and dolls, the elder men of the Xavier Institute like to kick back and relax with a friendly game of poker. Logan brings out his cigars and beer, Bobby brings out the chips n' dip, Kurt deals the cards and fun is had by all. Wagers run from the monetary to a secret way of getting out of chore duty. Everything from extra DR sessions to dish duty or cleaning the X-Hangar.

Sounds like fun. Who's invited?

Can the title get any clearer, X-kids? We're playin' spin the bottle, baby! Yeah! Respond in this thread to get your name put on the list.

As a side-thought...I, personally, think it's a little lame to just sit and think "hm...who am I gonna have my person kiss?" So, I was thinking (and I'd like to know if you're with me on this one) what you thought of adding a bit of chance into the posting and setting up mini spin the bottles at our desktops. After we get all the sign-ups I'll make a sitting order(or we can create one with our opening posts and I'll just post it so everyone knows who's where) and everyone who plays will agree to copy said order onto a paper. For example: Bobby 12 o'clock, Colossus 9 o'clock,Rogue 6 o'clock, Kitty 3 o'clock, Tabby 5, Darwin 7, Magma 10. Then, you grab a pen when it's your turn and spin it within that circle you've drawn. Whatever you spin determines your move. I'll admit it relies on the honor system but if we all agree to play as such 'on our honor' it adds the element of surprise which is really part of what makes the game so fun.

Pomp and Circumstance

The time has come when young mutants stand on that precipice between everything they've known and everything they have yet to learn. Yes, we are talking about graduation, my friends. It's been a long road but the senior class of the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters is finally graduating. They're going to stand up in their navy blue cap and gown, receive their diploma, and then it's time to celebrate.

Granted, there's a bit of pomp and circumstance in the form of speeches, but then the Institute is breaking out their barbecue, taking the cover off the pool, and they're having a party.

All X-Men Staff and Students are welcome to join this thread. Staff and Seniors in particular should count on being present in some form and as soon as the closing ceremony is over the party begins, so those with younger members can join in the fun as well.

The Graduating Class includes: Roberto DaCosta,Marie D'Ancanto, Robert Drake, Katherine Pryde, Piotr Rasputin, and Tabitha Smith.
